This place is a total joke! First off, the guy who takes the orders is GLUED to his phone 99% of the time, most of the time he won't even look up from the phone to take your order! If you order to eat inside they still serve it in carry out containers, why?? Too lazy to clean a plate? We placed a pick up order a week ago for Moo Goo Gai Pan and Shrimp Egg Foo Young, the Moo Goo had large chunks of a clear gelatin like substance that was gross (most likely corn starch that they failed to dissolve when cooking). The gravy that came with the Egg Foo Young was so thick it was like a big blob of Jello! Its like they are in too big of a hurry to do the job right! Also, the restroom has been closed to customers for at least 6 months. YEARS AGO THIS WAS THE BEST CHINESE RESTAURANT ON THE WEST SIDE, NOW ITS THE WORST. I am absolutly baffled on how bad the food and service was. The only thing that I liked was that when you walked in, it felt like you were walking into china town. I got some noodles and chicken on a stick. After I had on bite of noodles, I started farting and projectile vommiting. The chicken was so dry that I was choking on it. The reason the service was so bad was because I could not understand a word that the people were trying to say. I don't know what language they were speaking but here in America we speak english. I stopped here for take out while in the area and I ordered a pork egg roll and beef with oyster sauce. The place is in a strip mall with a small sit down area and plenty of parking, the begger outside almost stopped me from going in WTF is this restaurant letting a begger pester people in front of it. The pork egg roll was super greasy with a mushy filling, not fresh/crisp like it's frozen and cooked to order. This egg roll is the kind that makes you notice a fresh/crisp one and maybe the greasiest egg roll I have had. The beef with oyster sauce was kind of tasty with tender beef but all the veggies were cooked to almost mush with just a little crunch left in them from the water chestnuts, a theme with the food. Greasy/mushy food doesn't scream fresh when lots of Asian places have better food, not necessarily for this area but in my travels. If I lived here I would look for a fresher food Chinese place to go to because it's just not even even average, people want fresh ingredients in their food today not food with the texture of frozen cooked foods. read more

This restaurant is a hole in the wall that has some great food and not so great food and small dining area. When you walk in there is a very large counter that you stand at to order and see right into the kitchen. The first thing I noticed in the kitchen were that they have food laying out instead of put away waiting to be ordered and none of the guys in the kitchen were wearing gloves. The second thing I noticed was to the left of the counter is a sign, cash only and there is an ATM for you to use. The unique part about this, if you use the ATM, you will be charged $3.00, and they will deduct the full charge from your meal! That is unheard of in the smaller shops or restaurants around Indy. The food had its ups and downs as well. The fried rice was cooked perfectly but the vegetables in the rice were undercooked and the carrots nearly seemed raw with how much bite they had to them. Hand made egg rolls that are the size of your hand are full with cabbage and pork cooked perfectly for the size and is amazingly juicy. The general Tso chicken - the sauce was the perfect consistency and had a slight heat to it as anticipated while the chicken sizes were inconsistent and some over cooked while others were just right. Overall this was a good dish but not much to right home about. The crab rangoon were definitely flavorful with the cream cheese almost overpowering everything else. These were slightly undercooked and would really recommend this appetizer. Overall I give this 3/5 stars, as I definitely didn't have the same results as the other reviews I have read unless they happen to like this type of quality of food preparedness. read more

Yum yum yum! I've lived around here for 3 years and never been to this place.. WHY! It is delicious, ordered General Tso's, egg rolls and sweet n sour chicken. I asked for my GT to be spicy and they hit the mark because it's so good. The egg rolls are huge, nice and thick And the S&S sauce.. very good as well - not that watered down stuff you get anywhere else. Cash only, ATM inside and I recommend all day. read more

Pure garbage! This place used to be good.....good waaaaay back in the day! But - today! Not so!! Don't waste your money, new management and cooks have a thing about making money and not quality food! Ordered Carry-Out, my first time. Got to the store, handed my debit card, guy at counter says "Cash Only". So they have an ATM right next to the counter so obviously I try it, but it's a $3.00 fee to use. I told the guy all I have is my card, he says "Didn't I tell you on the phone 'Cash only'?" I said "No, you didn't, it's my first time I would have remembered that".They seemed indifferent, so I walked out. I'm sure their food is decent, maybe? Always consistently good. Reasonably priced and fast. The lunch specials are great! Lots of food for less than $5. We love the General Tso, garlic chicken, chicken with broccoli and the shrimp chow mein. The crab Rangoon is good too. I love the chicken wings, fried but not breaded and there are 8 in an order. Love this place! When I want fast, generous portions of great tasting Chinese food, this is the place I go. They don't take credit or debit but have an ATM right in their store and will refund the $3 fee, so if I don't have cash, I just get it while I'm there and more cash for later. I eat here on a weekly basis. The crab rangoon here is easily better than any other close to speedway. If you call in your order the phone is always answered promptly. By the time i get there (roughly 10 min) my food is always ready unless I have a huge order on a very busy day. This has always been a cash only establishment and my food has always been very fresh. The chicken is great compared to similar establishments in the area. Be curtious and remember to throw a few dollars in the tip jar! read more

Lady didn't tell me over the phone it was cash only so i had to use the atm inside, when using the atm cost your 3 dollars just to use they give you the three dollars back when you show the receipt. My card didn't work with that certain atm so i had to go across the street. Once i presented my receipt with the 3 dollar charge she said it only work for this atm? Seriously upset me. I have eaten there before and have not had too many problems with their food but my last experience was horrible. The employee who took my order over the phone was rude. He asked me when did I want my food and I asked how long would it take to prepare it. He told me 5 minutes. My past experience ordering from there has been at least a 10 min wait on food. So I could only asume that my food was old and not cooked to order. When I arrived 7 min later, my food was sitting on the counter. My rice was sticky and mushy, The General Tso's Chicken was soggy and my crab rangoons where soggy and nasty. I can deal with a restaurant having a bad day, but I do not deal with bad customer service. I will not be eating there again. read more

Stopped to grab dinner while I was in the area, and they insisted I use the ATM next to the register and wouldn't take my debit card as payment. Love this place !!!! Very consistent on their food and at a good price. All tho they do not take a credit card, a atm is on location and they take three dollars off your bill if you use it. That says a lot about this place. Highly recommended if your in the area. read more
