The food is a little on the higher priced side but the service is always top tier. The place is clean and the weekly lunch special is pretty big. Orange chicken was really good. Overall pretty good!

ONLY GOOD ON THE WEEKENDS. Sad but it's quite True. I went here Monday night and the food was bland and takes a long time to cook. Servers are very nice, polite and patient. Unfortunately the ambiance and food was not that great. Ordered the fire cracker chicken and the food was just bland with no spice at all, seems that it was fried in a very old oil. A bit disappointed

China Stix has been around for a long time. We dined there a few times in the past then stopped going as there are many other new restaurants opened in the bay area. We dropped by during Thanksgiving holiday last year. I felt the previous scale of operation has been decreased. Upon entry, although they were polite, they gave us a take-out menu to look at. We got dim sums. Surprisingly they were quite good, authentic and tasty, though varieties were limited. There was only one dim sum cart and one worker serving on it. The whole set-up was lackadaisical. They have other choices in the menu but we didn't try. Service was friendly and I really liked our server. The whole place was not too busy. Maybe we'll come back to try other food.

Came here for weekend brunch on Father's Day! Got our dimsum fix and salty soymilk. The fresh pan friend chive buns were delicious as well! Was made fresh this morning. The staffs were all very nice! It was nostalgic to see dimsum carts rolled around (11-2pm on weekends only) I enjoyed the authentic ambience! Super spacious for large groups. It was our first time here today and definitely will be coming back to try other dishes!

Tasty Chinese food! My family loves the fish lettuce cups that are really unique here. The servers are friendly. It is a casual Chinese restaurant.

Came here on a Saturday around noon. China Stix was hosting a venue event, so the parking lot was super crowded -- usually the parking situation is better. Of course, half the restaurant was reserved for the event, and there were a couple of tables filled on the other half. On weekend mornings, they serve a comprehensive dim sum menu. We ordered chicken feet, baozi, salty soybean milk, beef roll pancakes, and dumplings. The food came out relatively quickly, all warm. The chicken feet were soft and flavorful, the baozi were large and warm, and the salty soybean milk was appetizing and comforting. The beef roll pancakes had flaky skin with tender meat, and the dumplings were stuffed with savory filling. The service was really quick, and the rapid service and authentic dishes of China Stix makes it a reliable restaurant for dim sum. If you're craving warm, filling Chinese dishes on a weekend morning, definitely come here. I'll be back!

This is a Northern China restaurant that have been around for 15 plus years . Their dim sum lunch has been very popular. We went tiger for dinner on Sunday . Their business have gone down a lot . I was surprised that they only have to go menu and not the nice Chinese menu book. We have ordered seafood ( stir fried vegetables with giant scallop and prawn ) , beef ( scallion beef ) and pork ( salt and pepper spare ribs ) . The seafood and beef were good but the spare rib was too sticky and salty . The service was good and the waiter was very attentive. Price is very good compared to most restaurants in that area . They did not add 18 % tips on the bill . We would definitely return for more dishes . P.S. their Peking duck was good but needs 6-8 people to finish that . This time we only had 4 person .

Good food and excellent service. I have to watch salt in some dishes, but they say they don't use MSG.

The fish taco was ginormous with grilled fish and two tortillas. The fried fish was nicely battered and tender. The chicken wings were solid -- nothing to write home about, just basic but a solid option if you're not into fish (or want fries, which is why we got them). The service is great, friendly staff!

They were generous with the tarter sauce and vinegar, which I appreciated, but I personally didn't love the taste of the tarter sauce. It had maybe carrots or something in it and I wish it were more tangy. It gets the job done but I might make my own next time. I also got a cup of clam chowder. It was tasty but being from SF I've had much better chowder elsewhere. I would skip this next time. The stand out here was the service I got from Javi. He took my phone order and was polite and courteous without "doing too much." He was the one to also ring me up and hand me my order and he was, again, chill but also super nice. He did a great job. It would be unfair to not share the low point of my experience, even though I hate putting people on blast. While I was picking up my order, there were two female employees standing behind Javi behind the register. One of the ladies was braiding the other ones hair. In food service it's really important not to touch your hair - you should be ready to work before you arrive, or head to the bathroom to take care of any grooming. In the moment I just tried to shrug it off but then the lady braiding the hair sprayed some kind of hair product to finish things off, and I later realized my food was sitting on the counter right next to them. It really disturbed me how they didn't see their behavior as inappropriate and it didn't bother them at all that I was being rung up while they were doing this. I'm a little torn about whether or not I would return. Again, the service from Javi was great and the fish and chips were definitely good - no complaints there. However I didn't love everything I got with my meal and I'm not sure how seriously they take cleanliness given the employees doing their hair in the front.

DISH. IS. DELICIOUS! The first time I had Leichi, I wanted to go back the week after because it was that good. Service (with reservation) is always on point and food comes out quick. The waiters are welcoming and open to answering any questions. My favorites are the tempura octopus, homemade tofu, cold duck soba, black cod, hojicha panna cotta, and assorted sushi. They ship their fish from Japan, so it's always high quality and fresh. The sashimi is literally melt in your mouth. The housemade tofu is fresh and has the rich soy flavor. My boyfriend isn't a big tofu guy, but even he loved it. The black cod is cooked with sake and a must try! Their ginger ale is housemade with their ginger syrup. Nothing was off, but nothing really stood out either. The sashimi was fresh and the grilled fish was cooked well, though the flavors and presentation didn't quite leave a lasting impression. Overall, a solid spot if you're looking for a quiet, easy meal, but not somewhere I'd go out of my way for just yet.
