Very rude service! Older lady in the front doesn't know anything about respect is so rude and doesn't give off a good face for their business! doesn't own up to mistakes instead blames it on customers. Will find much more better service anywhere else. I have gone here since I was little and never seen her like this. Went in there today to pick up my food as I asked for it she continued to EXCLAIM that we ordered something that we didn't then proceeds to blame it on us that we can't hear and it's our fault we ordered the wrong food. Like what a way to put your business down! Never will go back to this restaurant again. Panda Express has way better service. We weren't even rude about it she immediately starting getting angry. Worst Chinese food I've had in my entire life. Ordered sweet and sour chicken and chicken chow mein but got pork chow mein. I only got 3 pieces of sweet and sour chicken and the sauce was awful. The "fried rice" was just white rice dashed with soy sauce and they wanted to charge me .40 for hot mustard. Will never go back. Besides that it was overpriced. Go to Panda instead. read more

I went to this place for takeout due to the good reviews but was very disappointed. They said our food would take 45 mins to be ready, which already seemed high for a Chinese food place... Well, it actually took 1.5 hours before everything was cooked. The restaurant wasn't even especially busy. In the 1 hour that I was sitting there waiting, they served at most 5 people. There weren't even any large orders or anything. The food itself was fine but nothing spectacular. read more

I give this place 3 stars because the service sucks terribly! The owner lady is awfully rude and has no problem showing her annoyance with the customers. They get so many pick up orders that sometimes they neglect sit-in customers. I prefer to call my order and pick it up than deal with the bad service. We used to come here alot growing up, was never my favorite but as I remembered their food was pretty good. I admit I hadn't been in a few years but decided to order one day while at work. Things definitely have changed! The food was not as good as I remembered and the prices have seemed to have almost doubled. This used to be my favorite Chinese restaurant until one visit with my mom. We usually order the orange chicken with fried rice and the Kung Pao Chicken with noodles which is usually great. But this day they served us ice cold noodles and fried rice but the meats were piping hot. We then asked the waiter to ask why it was like this and they then said that they usually serve it like that which is not true. Ever since we first discovered this place it has never been like this. The owner never gave us a refund for our food even though we did not eat it, RUDE, WILL NEVER EAT HERE AGAIN!!!!! read more

First of all they tell you, you can't order walnut shrimp because of the lengthy cooking time, then they charge $5 extra on everything, drinks are $2.50 with a $1.00 refill for tea. There is not much selection in Madera, so this place is ok for the area. The food is decent and some dishes are better than others, the chicken and pork are tasty enough. I do not agree with their pricing, $14+ for a plate that has about the same quantity of food for $8 at Panda (and lower quality). read more

Small joint to eat at. This place is not so much a Chinese formal restaurant. The environment is very bland, but the food is pretty good. Open at late hours and large portions! They have good service for what it is. You'll get your moneys worth. I recommend the Egg Foo Young. read more

Well this was a suprise to me. When u first walk in the hostess/cashier lady gets in yo grill if you're getting your food for here or to go. Its cool though, funny too. I'm a chinese food rookie so all I'm used to is Panda Express & Tang dynasty, China Kitchen by far has been the best chinese food I've had to this day. I tried the beef & broccoli with the basic chow mein. Very very good. Way less greasy then panda express. I'm going back soon. read more

Visiting my boyfriend while he is out of town working and we found this little gem. Hands down the best Chinese food restaurant I've been to!! It's a small place so don't let the size scare you away. I ordered the plate #1 which was a combination plate that had pork chow mein, sweet and sour chicken and fried rice. Everything I ate was amazing!! Very fresh!! My boyfriend had the orange peel chicken and he said it was the best he has ever had. I tasted it and it was pretty good. We also ordered egg rolls and cream cheese wontons. Both were excellent but the egg rolls were my favorite. Portion sizes are huge and there is no way one person can finish a plate. I highly recommend this place and we will be back before the week is over. read more

Haven't been into this place for about 3 years used to live 2 blocks away so we would go their once or twice every 2 weeks since it was the closest Chinese food to us. So since we moved across town we go to the closer one to us now. But this time since the wife is pregnant she wanted some food from here. Food is good I have never had any issues with the meals I have ordered for us. It's always been fresh and hot plus I have always loved their egg rolls the sausage they put into them and pepper taste. I have half a mind to think that all of the reviews on this place are fake definitely disgusting food the first time was terrible but I tried them a second time just to be certain. The service was terrible my chow mein was both burnt and greasy! I did not complain because it is not worth it but I can darn sure write an accurate review. Love the food here!!! Their Curry Beef Tomatoe is awesome!!!! The staff is always friendly and orders are processed quickly. This is the only Chinese restaurant I eat at. They have LOTS to choose from. You can't just rely on the printed menu, though, some of their really cool combos are listed on the wall with pictures. Give it a try!!! read more

We usually always get our food to go. We get the broccoli beef, the sesame chicken, and the dinner special. They are really quick but you should order ahead because they do get busy. I also love the giant Buddha that they have inside the restaurant. Lol read more

I use to come here and only here whenever I wanted Chinese food before I moved away but whenever i'm in town and in the mood for Chinese this is the place!
