The asada burrito was mediocre it had white rice meat and beans no taste at all and the meat was overpowering and salty it also tasted like biste instead of carne asada, The mixto molcajete was 50 dollars expensive and salty. The ambiance was nice music playing and many people. Service was horrible the lady kept pressuring us to order and kept making snarky comments. My husband friend from Nayarit suggested that we tried this restaurant and we did and we're not disappointed everything it's pretty traditional and tasty. The customer service is outstanding the owners themselves help the waiters and cooks very humble couple. I'm not a fan of cheese and sea food at all but these are So So So Good! My entire family loves their meal. The food here is great, only complaint is everything is made with red hot chilies. It's great for people who enjoy spicy things. We ordered a bean, cheese & sour cream burrito for our 6 yr old granddaughter. She took a few bites and was complaining of it being hot. I made her keep eating until she pulled out a huge piece of red chili. The waitress was great. She immediately took it back and had it remade. She came to explain, everything is made with the chili to add flavor to the food. We understand just have to be careful with kid orders. Decided to give this place a second chance after trying it when it first opened. First time the service was slow, food came even slower and cold but the worst was the music so loud the waitress couldn't hear our order. We left very disappointed. I'm glad I gave it a second chance, service was 10 times better than the first time, food was also much faster and the music wasn't blowing your eardrums out. Where do I begin? First off, the service was terrible and very slow. Our waitress never came to ask us if we needed anything else. My family and I decided to take a chance and eat there, My girlfriend and I got ceviche, I got the Ceviche Verde with a spicy Avocado sauce. The kids got quesadillas, chicken nuggets and fries. I have had lots of ceviche and mexican food in my life. But this ceviche was way off. The shrimp was a little funky, it tasted raw-like and something about it didn't taste right. The only decent thing on the plate was the fresh avocado and the sauce. My girlfriend ordered a michelada and it was not good, she didnt finish it. And we drink micheladas quite often. On top of that my daughter got mozz. Sticks with her order and the sticks were empty, like the cheese had been taken out of its precious bed of breading in the wake of night. What makes it worse is that our waitress had the audacity to ask us for the cheese sticks to show them to the cook to make sure we weren't lying. This restaurant seems very poorly managed. The servers were all over the place. Our server left with our waters to refill them and didn't return with them until I brought it to her attention. I also had to ask for flour tortillas because she brought me corn tortillas and Never asked if I was okay with that. In the end she brought us our bill and I saw that she had charged us incorrectly as well, she charged us a more expensive plate and when I complained she said that we had ordered the one she listed; to me, that is horrible customer service because they shouldn't be arguing with what the customer is saying.
