I've been ordering from this place for almost a decade and it's truly a hidden gem for go to Chinese food lunch and dinner specials. Old Skool Chinese food . We ordered the deliciously tangy and crispy Tangerine Chicken which is a must try. Crispy Chicken glazed over with a rich, deeply glossy carmelized sauce and I also requested the Chefs Special Fried Rice with Shrimp & Pork in addition to their Mongolian Beef with Green & White crunchy savory onions with a rich , oyster-sauced brown meat glaze wok-seared throughout . This place is the classic , hole-in-the-wall for authentic Old-Skool style Chinese food . Great flavors !

This is a hole in the wall Chinese restaurant. Great customer service with great food. I really enjoyed it.

First time trying this place. My husband said it's good so why not? Dinner menu to go: shrimp chow fun, Mongolian beef, tangerine chicken, chicken with snow peas and mixed vegetables. I must say, not bad at all. We steamed our own jasmine rice. To go portions was good enough to feed 6! I think this is better than Panda Express (to me is Americanized style) but not at the level such as Mayflower (Milpitas) or Dynasty (formerly at Cupertino). I'm stuffed!!!

Ordered the below food from here a couple of days back through Uber East 1. Vegetable Fried Rice 2. Kung Pao Tofu I am going to be strictly honest here. I was highly disappointed with the quality and quantity of Vegetable Fired rice. It was not cooked properly. I tasted terrible, literally no flavors at all. I had to add all the kinds of flavors (even salt) by myself to make it edible. It costs pretty high for such low standard tasteless food. Kung Pao Tofu was just ok. One thing is for sure, I am never ordering food from here ever again.

Everything smells great and I could see everything being prepped fresh in be kitchen. Promising first impression Ordered takeout. Crab Puffs, candied prawns and white rice. I was disappointed by the food quality.

Their honey walnut prawns.... Couldn't be consumed.

Food was subpar. The meat was greasy and rubbery and there was no flavor. You'd be better off going to Panda Express.

I love the concept of malatang. You grab a bowl, load it up with everything your heart desires,…read morepick your broth and they cook it all for you. The concept might be simple but the possibilities are endless! I went absolutely overboard with my proteins (both beef and lamb), enoki mushroom, napa cabbage, tripe, baby corn, fish balls filled with roe and tofu skin. I saw that they had tofu mochi too and it was one of the best new things I decided to give a try. The bone broth was rich, flavorful and had that perfect mala kick with the numbing spice. I got mild flavor so it was not the kind of spicy that I could not tolerate. Each topping also soaked up all the flavorful broth. My friend got the medium spicy bone broth and that was packed a punch! I love how all the ingredients are fresh and fully restocked. The staff is very efficient. And they also give out vouchers, and free oranges.

We got the tom yum and it did not taste like tom yum at all. It was just a sour and salty soup. We got the beef broth mild and it was really spicy, not a typical mild so be careful if your spice tolerance was low. I could finish my meal, but I probably wouldn't eat it again even if someone else paid for it. Not yummy.

The broth and noodles were pretty standard but in a good way. I think the beef is the star of the show - just the right amount of meat/connective ratio so it was really soft and fall apart. We added on extra bokchoy for 75 cents, which was very welcome. The lu ro fan was a nice compliment. Not too greasy and very flavorful. They go very strong on the star anise here, but I don't mind. *Popcorn chicken rice platter - Chicken is juicy and comes out hot. A good portion. I mean you can't go wrong with chicken, tea egg, rice, and pickeled mustard greens. For the price, they really can't be beat - especially the lunch specials. They give you free housemade chili crisp on the side, which is a must

Summer Chilled Noodle: This had chicken from the protein and came with a side of chili oil and sesame sauce. It was delicious and refreshing with a mix of flavors that worked very well together. Noodles had the perfect al dente texture, but was still bouncy and clung to the sauce. Popcorn chicken: the meat was chicken thigh, so it was very juicy and slightly fatty. It was crispy and perfectly fried. Dry Mala Beef Noodle: Was not overly spicy or mala and you could still taste the flavors of the dish. Would recommend if this is a profile that you like.
