It's casual and easy to drop into if you're in the Coleman area. The standout for me is still the crab fried rice. It's flavorful and easily the best thing we had. The rainbow roll was good too, especially if you like sushi rolls that are both savory and sweet. The garlic noodles were underwhelming. They were thin vermicelli noodles all stuck together and mushy with some fresh garlic mixed in; very flat. Unfortunately I was having health issues when I went so I wasn't able to finish all of it but it was delicious and I would definitely go back to try their other offerings. The mango poke bowl had a good amount of tuna, salmon, mango, avocado, and cucumbers with dried seaweed as well as seaweed salad mixed with lettuce on top of rice. I have no idea what the light orange sauce covering everything was but I'm guessing it was the typical mayo + Sriracha + rice wine vinegar combo I see in recipes. Service was prompt and friendly. We were the only people there around 1 pm on a Saturday. The smell of incense is really strong but I like it. Some people might find it off-putting though. Not a fan of the fries but the yellow curry was good. We also ordered the Spicy Fried Rice and the Spicy Fried Noodles. The fresh rolls were different from others I've had in that they had actual mango in them, which I thought was delicious. The sauce on the side was great too, not overly spicy. We got it with a spiciness level of 3, which had a nice kick to it. I'm used to seeing larb deconstructed, so the lettuce leaves would still be whole so that you would scoop the filling into them. They chopped the lettuce for you and mixed everything up, which was fine too. Pad see ew is my favorite Thai noodle dish in general, but unfortunately I didn't care much for Blue Mango's version of it. The flavors were there, but I thought that the sauce was thin and noodles were overboiled and mushy. I tried the massaman curry, which was standard. Maybe it's because I'd come here on occasion as a high schooler/college kid with my mom when she used to work in the area, and Blue Mango brings up nostalgia. We came on Tuesday night, and while the kitchen was busy with pick-up orders, we were one of only two parties dining in. Our appetizer came out super fast and we loved the Fresh Spring Roll featuring a piece of fried tofu, mango, lettuce, cucumber, cilantro and mint wrapped in rice paper with peanut dipping sauce. The lettuce was crunchy and the mango + tofu was a fun and addictive combination. I got the Ocean in a Coconut (which was not actually IN a coconut, but did feature large slices of young coconut), a savory, mild-spice curry-type dish with calamari, prawn, basa white fish, mussel and scallop. Super yummy and worth $22 in my opinion. My only qualms are: 1) If you want rice, you have to order a side of rice separately; the curries and specials do not come with rice ($4 for Jasmine or Brown Rice) 2) They are often out of dessert items (I really wanted the fried banana with ice cream and it was unavailable. My second choice would have been mango with sticky rice but they were out of that, too.) I settled on the tempura ice cream for dessert -- it's difficult to share with two people since the ice cream quickly melts when you slice the treat down the middle, but it's a delicious not-too-sweet treat. I got their curry fries and a pot of chicken tom kha soup - best tom kha imo! It was huge, could be shared with 2-3 people. We were really lucky and came when the restaurant was nearly empty on a Thursday at 6:30pm, so we were seated fast. Soon after, the place got crowded and there is limited dining space inside. We went to Blue Mango for their week of birthday deals and tried a variety of different items including their yellow curry, panang curry, mango curry, pineapple fried rice, stir fried eggplant, pad Thai, seafood feast, and a couple of their sushi rolls. My favorite dishes here were the curry dishes. You can choose what kind of protein you want in your curry (chicken, pork, beef, tofu) and how spicy you want it as well. Their curries have good flavor and they put a good amount of meat in them. Their pineapple fried rice and pad Thai were only okay to me. I've had better versions of these two items elsewhere but they did give big portions. Their stir fried items were cooked well and also came with your choice of protein. A few of them were a bit oily but had good flavors. One downside to their food is that nothing comes with rice. You have to pay extra for rice if you want it or make it at home. It's hard to eat curry without any rice. The service was ok, call in your order ahead of time or order online if you want take out. They got quite busy for the specials so ordering ahead was a good idea. For the birthday prices, food was great! Not sure if I'd pay their full prices though. They do seem to have specials a few times throughout the year. read more

Thanks to my fellow Elite friends who keep tabs on great deals, I was able to come by Wednesday 11/3/21 to get some of their birthday half-off deals. I called in my order to have it ready when I arrived after work. The lady on the other end of the phone was very friendly when she realized after I told her my second desired item that I was ordering off the specials menu and told me that it was a great deal. I arrived at the restaurant and was greeted warmly. My food was ready within the quoted 25 minutes. I was surprised to find that she had given me a complimentary order of egg rolls too. When I got home we dug into the curry first. It was just what I had been craving--slightly spicy and with rich coconut milk flavor. The sushi roll was surprisingly better than I thought. I had eaten sushi here before many many moons ago and was not impressed then. The fish cake appetizer was okay, but the egg rolls were nice and crispy! The birthday deals run until 11/9/21 with different specials each day. I already have my eye on the green curry and a few of the other sushi rolls to visit again one more time before the promo ends. I have visited this restaurant about 6 or 7 times now - I've waited a little while to review this place because the food was very good the first time and since I work close to this place and if I like it I will probably come back for more. Well I've had several of the dishes and they were all DELICIOUS. I visited today and ordered the Pad Kee Moa or something like that. The place was very busy and some soft music playing in the background, however I know that most of the dishes served here are not of the gourmet category but that's what I like about them. I mean I feel very "AT HOME" when I sit down here and the food is CONSISTENTLY very delicious and very warming. I think the owner was the person who actually served me today - a very nice man and I think he may have even been a South East Asian person.
