a plate of food with rice and vegetables
    Jeff I.

This place is absolutely delicious! I'm currently doing the keto diet. I love that they have super low carb options and that they understand the diet. I ordered the Key to Keto plate for myself while my partner had individual dishes. We enjoyed the paneer so much. It does have a hint of spicy which was very nice. The cauliflower is delicious, but it doesn't have that same look as the picture on doordash. We also ordered a side of the pickled veggies which were so refreshing and complemented the meal very well. The star of our meal was the cauliflower rice. I don't know what they are seasoning it with, but I have to say that it is the best cauliflower rice we have tried. The flavor was just lovely and didn't even feel like we were eating cauliflower. I highly recommend checking this place out. You can tell that the ingredients are fresh. My partner and I have also spent some time in India and the flavors, we feel, are as authentic as they can be. Although, we only tried the keto dishes, they were absolutely delicious!

Although this place doesn't have an official storefront, you can still order for delivery or pickup! There are two tables inside this small store, combined with multiple online storefronts. There is also outdoor seating. It's located next to a storage/warehouse area, which doesn't make it the most aesthetic place, but it has many great options. I ordered the tikka tango keto for 15.90. I love the slightly spicy curry flavor with the cauliflower rice. Of course it doesn't have that great rice texture, but it's one of the next cauliflower rice I've tasted. The white sauce made the flavors creamier if wanted, but I actually preferred eating without it. The bowl was large with guacamole, micro greens salad with variety of vegetables, dressing, rice and tofu curry; which makes it a great value for its price. Healthy eating, perfect for after a workout. Would order again if I wanted a heartful meal

Great Indian Fusion Bowls. I tried their Say Chickpeas bowl which comes with cumin rice (jeera rice), channa masala (chickpeas), salad greens with your choice of dressing. Unlike typical greasy, spicy curry this was very good and portioned perfectly for one. The Mango Mousse is very refreshing (using Indian Mangoes on anything other than lassi) and MUST TRY. The Mousse is not loaded with sugar and made it enjoyable.

Fantastic food service in South Bay. If you are looking for special dietary menu or just healthy take away meals, this is the place. They whip up delicious goodness - smoothies, soups, stews, wraps , salads and meal plates, everything is bursting with flavors and freshness. They have been super accommodating on taste preferences (sweet, spicy, etc). Can't recommend them enough!!

Parked in a nearby parking garage and there's several options at Santana Row. I walked towards the address, looked for Mas Veggies and found that it was Veggie Grill. Entered and had to use the restroom and was stopped because I wasn't a buying customer yet. So I explained I was going to use the restroom and then order. He was fine with it and that's what I did. Ordered and paid at a self service computer on the counter-- but you could order with a live person as well. Took a number and took it to a table. My order was brought to me. The guy even asked if I'd like a water cup. That was observant, thoughtful and nice. I had tacos and chik'n tenders. I've had the chik'n tenders before at a different location and this time was memorable-- better than I remember, would have again for sure. Tacos were good but if they weren't on the menu anymore, I wouldn't miss it. I did try to get one of the superfood smoothies and the very one I wanted was out. Of course. Good food, good service.

I was informed that the patio is open and to order using a QR code at one of the tables in the patio. You have to sign in and create an account to order. It took me a minute to order. I wanted to try their specialty dishes especially because they have mushroom dishes and soy protein dishes. But by the time I was able to figure out how to order and sign up, I was pressed for time to order a meal and ended up ordering crispy spring rolls. Once your order is placed, you wait for a text to let you know your order is ready. Then I have to pick up at the window. Spring rolls were okay. I really wanted to try the crispy oyster mushrooms or the lion mane mushroom dish. Or even the Sea Fruits plate but I wasn't going to have enough time to enjoy them. The patio was fine. A few picnic tables. You bus your own table at the end. Everything they used was biodegradable. I wish it was a better experience. The food looked delicious in pictures, but eating in an outdoor patio, ordering from a QR code, and picking up your food from the window made for a sad and sub par experience.

Clear broth, comes with an assortment of vegan proteins, and it's been consistent every single time over the years. Best had in cold weather. The spicy noodle soup is solid too but it doesn't hit the same way. The SP4 gourmet deluxe is my other staple and I order it like an appetizer. The protein comes out fried with a crispy shell and soft inside. The sauce leans hard on lemongrass and citrus but it's savory throughout, not sweet. Haven't had anything like it anywhere else. Orange nuggets are chewy with a citrusy and sweet glaze. Good enough that I skip the actual appetizers for these. The Szechuan Pineapple is spicy, salty, and savory with chewy gluten and a citrus undertone running through it. Green papaya salad is strictly sour and tangy. Fresh, nothing heavy about it. Sweet potato curry is definitely underrated. Potato goes soft all the way through and the whole thing tastes hearty without being heavy. Basil eggplant tofu skews sweet and the eggplant goes silky and it's a family favorite. Eggplant claypot has the same idea but the sauce is better and it comes out in the claypot which makes it feel like a proper dish. Jalapeno BBQ seitan was a miss. The BBQ sauce tastes flat. I always ordered the chicken dish, so when it came out this time, I was genuinely confused. The menu describes it as having a garlicky yogurt sauce, but there was none. I even checked their website afterward, and the dish I received looked nothing like the one advertised. I also looked through recent reviews and photos from other customers, and even those dishes looked very different from what we were served. If the recipe or sauce changed, I really think customers should be informed. When I asked the waitress, she explained that it now comes with a zhoug sauce instead, but that isn't mentioned anywhere on the menu. Oddly enough, the same sauce was also used on the Dorada fish dish. We also used to love the lamb, but they changed that dish too by removing the sauce and couscous base. I'm not sure why the changes were made, but it's just not the same anymore. Overall, it was really disappointing, especially since we chose to spend Mother's Day here. The food quality has definitely gone downhill. On top of that, the restaurant seemed extremely understaffed -- there appeared to be only about three servers working the entire floor all night. The ambiance was still decent, but the overall experience just didn't feel like the Meso we used to love. Unfortunately, I can't recommend this place anymore.

We ordered the Meat and Veggie Sampler which is described on the menu as "a combination of our veggie sampler with stewed lamb, beef, and chicken accompanied by 8 rolls of injera." I've tried Ethiopian cuisine in San Diego, Sacramento, Texas, and Michigan in the last year -- and I would argue that Walia probably makes it to the top for taste, quality, presentation, authenticity, and cultural experience via the ambiance.
