This restaurant is located in the Brokaw plaza across the street from Brokaw Commons which is a…read moregreat location with a bunch of surrounding restaurants. The interior is super spacious with plenty of seating and they have a self-ordering kiosk which I always prefer (nothing against the staff, they are very friendly and welcoming!) I ordered the protein bowl with saffron chicken and added tzatziki sauce as well - soooo good! The chicken is tender and flavorful and the tzatziki sauce is on par with the ones I've tried in Greece. In my opinion, tzatziki sauce can either make or break a meal and they've really got it down. I'd like to mention though that since the protein bowl already came with hummus and garlic yogurt, adding on the tzatziki sauce made my bowl too saucy (that was my bad) so next time I'll switch out the garlic yogurt. Luckily, the staff were so very kind to give me a side of greens to mix in so I could balance it out - 10/10 customer service. I also took a bite of my fiancé's Super Duper Wrap with grilled sirloin steak and that was amazing as well. Overall, it was a great dining experience and we will be back again.

OOF, SO GOOD - Shoutout to the gal at my optometry place with all that great food recs - I normally…read moredon't get loaded fries or fries in general. TBH was reminded of my partner - got the Chicken Shawarama Fries. I asked the counter staff if they recommended the chicken or beef, they said chicken. Obviously everyone has a different palatte. Got that along with the spiced hibiscus and the iced jordanian street coffee; drinks were good. The fries were amazing - the toum on this is *chef's kiss. I got a full size as I opted this for an entree but honestly should of gotten the mini as I don't eat that many fries.. The gal at my optometry reccomended this place for those who like shawarmas.

I had a very unpleasant and unsanitary experience here which I want to share below…read more I ordered online and showed up to the store, asked for the food from them, and waited for my food for a while. When it was taking longer than expected, I walked back up to them and asked what the status of the order was and they told me that they accidentally gave away my order to a doordasher and that they called him and told him to bring it back so they could give it to me. I'm very disappointed in this practice for a few reasons - at no point did they let me know this transparently, and if I hadn't asked about it, I assume they would have just given me an order that some stranger already drove off with, which is unsanitary, not to mention that my food would be cold. It's also unreasonable to expect that a customer would accept food that someone else drove off with. On top of this, the food took way too long for obvious reasons. Instead of suggesting an appropriate alternative like them remaking the meal they expected me to take the food that passed through someone else's hands. I told them I need a refund because that's a disgusting suggestion. The food here is quite good so I'm very disappointed and reluctant to give this place a bad review, but it's inexcusable to do this in my opinion and doesn't speak well as to the other hygiene practices of this business.

Tucked away inside Akita Sushi, BAHO Mediterranean Cafe is one of those hidden gems you'd never…read morefind unless someone told you about it, or you were determined enough to search. The signage is subtle and easy to miss, but once you find it, it's well worth the effort. I first visited during their grand opening and have returned several times since. Without fail, the experience has been excellent. The staff are consistently warm, welcoming, and genuinely attentive. Even during peak hours when the place is packed, I've never waited long to be seated, and the food always comes out quickly. I've worked my way through their menu: doner wraps, kebab plates, and a variety of sides; and every single dish has been a hit. EVERY. SINGLE. TIME. The consistency here is impressive, which is something I value highly in any restaurant. I already loved Mediterranean food, but BAHO's Turkish offerings really surprised me. Fresh vegetables, bold and flavorful sauces, and perfectly seasoned, savory meats come together in a way that feels both comforting and exciting. Keep in mind that the doner wrap is served in a bag because it can get messy, but if you remember those old Carl's Jr. commercials: "If it doesn't get all over the place, it doesn't belong in your face". If you're lucky enough to be helped by Boris, you're in great hands. He's incredibly kind, hardworking, and clearly takes pride in making sure guests have a great experience. On my first visit with my cousin, I told him we had no idea what to order, and he set us up with chicken doner wraps and a selection of appetizers. An excellent introduction to the menu that hooked us. Since then, I've brought my wife, friends, and family here, and every single person has walked away impressed. BAHO Mediterranean Cafe has easily become one of my go-to spots, and I can't recommend it enough. Quick update: It turns out that I posted my review too late, as they've been shut down by the city. What a damn shame.
