Chicken kebab with hummus, garlic dip, and roasted red pepper and walnut dip. $20.95 absolutely delish!
Johnathan D.

Amazing food, quick service and really kind people. I went in for lunch and they mistakenly gave me chicken kebab instead of the ground beef/lamb that I ordered. It was honestly no big deal as I was between the two kebabs any way. I told the nice lady that it was totally cool and I'd eat the chicken. The chicken with garlic dip, hummus and red pepper walnut dip was straight up GAS. So amazingly good. I wasn't expecting anything and suddenly the very nice woman I spoke with, Mayte, came out of the service area apologized and gave me the beef/lamb kebab I had ordered. I was truly flabbergasted by the amazing customer service. Anyone that goes to DnD for lunch knows the place is PACKED. For her to remember my request and find me to deliver the right kebab truly warmed my heart. 10/5 stars DnD is goated as the kids would say...

Beef Shawarma

Yooooo!!! Dish N Dash never disappoints. The beef shawarma wrap is my go-to every single time--perfectly seasoned, juicy, and packed with so much flavor in every bite. Pair it with a side salad, and it balances everything out so well. One thing I really appreciate is the portion size. They're super generous--honestly, it's often enough to share (or save for later if you have self-control... which I usually don't ). Everything always tastes fresh, service is quick, and it's just one of those reliable spots you can count on when you want something delicious without the wait. As always, EXTRA SAUCE! Definitely a repeat spot for me!

We love dish n dash and haven't been in a year or so to one. With our group of 6, we chose this location and it was a major hit with them! We got a wrap, lamb and beef skewers along with grilled veggies, baba ghanoush and toum. Everything was delightfully seasoned, high quality and portions are always amazing here! It reminded everyone that we should eat here more frequently cause the food is so healthy and amazing~ They also have a side with plenty of sauces to pick from~

Their kebab plate with lamb & mixed beef was hefty and exactly what we were craving for dinner. Walk-in/order at the counter. Their plates are a must!! The hummus was creamy and their lentil soup was hearty. Pita chips + pita is included if you get their hummus as a side. Falafel+roasted dip was a great idea Overall, fast and quick service -- food was great!

Ordered the chicken kebab plate with basmati rice, fries, salad, pita, tabouli, and Mediterranean wings. The chicken was cooked nicely, while the basmati rice was fragrant with spices. The fries were good, the salad was fresh, and the pita had a nice texture that paired well with the food. The tabouli stood out as well, as it had a refreshing and light taste. However, the Mediterranean wings were forgettable. They tasted like frozen wings you would buy from the market, which took away from a solid meal. The restaurant was clean and well maintained, with plenty of parking. I also liked the lighting and decor, as it gave a modern vibe. Friendly customer service. I would go back to explore more of their menu options!

I came here for dinner one weekday evening with some friends. Wow it was busy. The menu at Dish N Dash has a variety of Mediterranean dish options but also you can customize it to your liking a bit. I tried the Ground Lamb and Beef Kebab with side of grilled veggies, tabouli, freekeh and falafel. Also tried the pulled sumac chicken with basmati rice, spiced carrots & walnuts and roasted pepper walnut dip and a mango lassi. The kebob meat was tender, I wish it had a sauce with it. Never had freekeh before but it's a type of wheat that reminded me a bit of farro, which is fine but I think I will stick with the basmati rice. The tabouli was fresh but needed more acid. Fafafel was good but needed a sauce, which I probably could have added hummus or something. The grilled veggies were good, thought there would be a bit more than a whole tomato and some onions. They also gave 2 pieces of pita. The pulled sumac chicken was recommended by a friend and it was a great recommendation. The chicken was flavorful and seasoned well and worked nicely with the basmati rice I got. The spiced carrots didn't have much spice flavor but the walnuts were glazed. The roasted red pepper walnut dip was good, went well with the pita it came with. The dip had a mild roasted flavor from the red peppers. The mango lassi was good as well, a nice drink to wash down the meal. Overall, portions are decent and for the price. Good quality and tasty food. Lots of tables to sit at and good amount of parking.

It was my first time being to this Dish Dash location and it didn't disappoint! We came here for lunch to celebrate our coworker's birthday. This Dish Dash location is conveniently located off a strip mall right at the corner of North First Street and Trimble. It shares a parking lot with other popular stores such as Pho Viet and Starbucks. However, parking was a breeze for us. We found our spot within 5 minutes though it was prime time for lunch (around 12:30pm). The store is lovelily decorated with holiday decors, making the interior so festive and welcoming. They also put the menus right in front so you can look up what you want while waiting in line. After ordering, you'll receive a buzzer which will buzz when your order is ready. Go find a table and you're all set :) We couldn't find a table big enough for my group inside the store thus we opted outside. Their patio was so spacious and they would turn on the heater too if you asked. When the buzzer buzzes, you can go pick up your food. It's neatly presented on a tray. You can pick up extra sources and utensils on the counter behind you and across from the cashier if you like. My dish was lamb kabob and it was delicious! The lamb was cooked to perfection, very flavorful yet not so gamey. The texture was also perfect medium rare to my taste. And the portion was huge. I couldn't finish it at all and had to have it to go. When you finish, clean up yourself and kindly put away your tray :) The entire experience here from ordering to the fish itself was very pleasant. I'll come back for sure.

lamb kebab platter + strawberry beer

When I went to dish n dash in San Jose with friends it was an amazing experience. While there was a bit of a line once you get inside the restaurant it went by incredibly fast and you get to place your order, pay and take a seat. They also have a table of sauces with spicy aioli and taziki sauce all of which are delicious. The dish that I decided to order was the lamb kebab platter with the grilled veggies and daal and my goodness it was delicious. The lamb was a generous portion and was tender, juicy and perfectly smokey. The grilled veggies were also cooked to perfection and had a great savory sauce to accompany them. The salad was light and fresh and everything paired incredibly well with the spicy aioli and green sauce from the sauce booth. The daal was also a hearty soup and very comforting. My friend also decided to get the fruli strawberry beer and I cannot recommend this beer enough, especially if you are not a fan of bitter or tart tasting beers! I normally am not a fan of beer but this was some of the sweetest, creamiest fruity tasting beer I have ever had. It was so delicious I would come back just for this drink!

This Mediterranean place has plenty of seating and has a nice ambiance. It's a casual nice setting. The restaurant is located in a small outdoor strip mall that has several other types of food options. At Dish Dash, you order at the counter and they give you an electronic number that tells them where you're sitting. They bring the food out to you. I got the chicken Greek salad. It was good. I didn't like the pita chips because it had some sort of herb spice on them that I wasn't a fan of. I think if they left that off, I would've liked it better. For a side, I chose the lentil soup and it was really good. I would recommend this salad. Also, I got the mint lemonade and it was really good. My friends got: Salad with falafel and hummus. Lamb wrap. Both of them loved their dish. I like that the restaurant puts to-go-boxes and extra sauces/dressing on the counter! This is so convenient and efficient. There was plenty of parking in the parking lot. We came on a Thursday at 6p. There wasn't a wait and plenty of seating; however, soon after there wasn't a line to order. I would come back here again.

They had a great selection of Mediterranean and Middle Eastern food. The place is big enough to host lots of people and it is a nice, casual environment. The food was great! They give you a lot of food forsure! The meats can feel heavy

Backlava crumble

Busy and crowded as usual during lunch hour, Dish N Dash on a strip mall along 1st Street is a popular place for lunch. They have plenty of seating including a separate room and the backyard outdoor. They have beer and my usual Mansef never disappoints. The lamb meat is so softly cooked, the yogurt sauce full of flavor; such a nice warm dish for cool weather. We tried their dessert this time, which is Baklava Crumble. It's a vanilla bean gelato drizzled with sea salt and tahini honey and then covered by the crumbs from baklava. The gelato tasted firmer than what you get from the ice cream shop and is denser, but the overall dessert was good. I could taste the sea salt and the filo dough crumbs gave a good contrast in texture. It's good for group sharing as I think it gets too sweet to finish one by only a couple people. This place is self service. You line up to place the order to the cashier, take a buzzer and find your seat. After you are finished, collect your own used plates and leave it at the dish sink area. Good business model of focusing on delivering delicious food and the customers wouldn't mind other elements too much.

Veggie platter and Tabsi Falafel

I've been here a few times over the years and always enjoy their menu especially the vegetarian offerings. It can get very busy during lunch hour and finding parking is quite an adventure. Despite the long lines, they move through orders quickly. I like that they have plenty of outdoor seating and it's a nice option on warmer days. Overall a solid lunch spot during the work week if you have a little extra time.

Chicken shawarma salad

Dish n Dash is a great spot in North San Jose to grab lunch with coworkers. The wait can be a bit long midday, but it moves pretty fast. We came in around 12:15 on a Tuesday and were seated by 12:40pm. I ordered the chicken shawarma salad (medium), which comes with two sides (tabbouleh and baba ganoush) and pita. The serving size is generous -- I brought leftovers home. Our group of 5 was able to find seating pretty easily. It's nice that they have outdoor seating, too. Parking can be tight, so we had to find parking around the corner from the complex and walk over. The chicken shawarma salad was 17.95$ before tip, and I took home leftovers. Staff are friendly and attentive -- overall, a great work day lunch option!

The food was done very quickly, much quicker than the wait in line was. It seemed like the hashbrowns weren't the freshest as they weren't super crispy and had a little sogginess to them. The chicken minis were also fairly dry, so sauces are a must.
