Basil lemongrass chicken, burmese style red curry
    Yu-pei H.

SO MUCH CHICKEN! Good but no pick up option/physical South Bay location! I've seen this place on help when looking for Burmese food, but never realized it was an online business (which makes sense why there are like no reviews). I ordered on doordash cause I had credits (lemongrass Basil chicken, burmese style red curry). Let me tell ya, they don't skimp on the protein lmao. Like look at my picture the Basil chicken was literally all chicken lmaoo. Most places skimp so that was very surprising! Packaging was also super sturdy like the combo tray didn't get soggy at all and they even wrapped the curry which already came in a lidded container in plastic wrap. Curry was a bit salty but not to the point of being inedible. Wish there were more options that were just catering and unfortunately, you do have to pay a service fee which can get pretty hefty (I was originally gonna order more but at some pt the service fee went went 9 bucks??? I was like hell nahh) and you can't pick up to avoid it so that part sucks

    black pepper tofu (vegan)

I had black pepper tofu with rice ordered via a work lunch delivery service. The tofu was very very flavorful, good portion size for one meal. Nice vegan options.

    mango lassi AMAZING

Returning customer via doordash as a virtual brand (i've ordered here several times lol) This is a great place for authentic and affordable Burmese cuisine. Great portions and quality every time!

Fast, nicely packed lunch boxes. Portion is good with more protein than rice. A good goto for a quick meal.

Great food! Ordered Catfish Curry and Coconut rice. Loved them both. I had earlier ordered the set lunch chicken. That was great too.

It's one of the best Burmese places closer to San Jose. There was plenty of seating inside and outside, and because it was chilly and my friends and I hadn't dressed for the weather, we opted for inside seating, where we were placed in a booth. Between the 4 of us we ordered: - Roti palatha and chicken curry dip: delicious chicken curry with flaky roti - Fried salt and pepper calamari: similar to a Chinese restaurant style calamari, big chunks of squid, a lot of breading - Burma Taste House noodles with beef: kind of like pad thai, slightly different - Shrimp kebat: tomato forward shrimp dish with veggies, a bit spicy - Minty jalapeño chicken: So tasty, I love this dish at Burmese restaurants - Pork Belly with mustard greens: I was hoping they would be fried and crispy like the menu said, but it was just pork pieces. The mustard greens were delicious though! - Coconut rice: a must, I love the fragrant coconut and the extra oomph it adds to the rice - House lemonade: refreshing and cooling, cucumber-y lemonade They were all so tasty and generously portioned. I would've maybe opted out of the calamari next time (just because it wasn't something super special, but there were a lot of it!) and chosen the Burmese dishes. Everything was very flavorful and I'd return to try more of their menu items. We had a lot of leftovers as well.

The menu is laid out by geographic regions, which I thought was a really neat way to showcase the many different cuisines. We started with summer rolls and calamari, both of which were excellent. The summer rolls were fresh and bright, with a delicious peanut sauce that was among the best my sister (a self-described "Peanut Sauce Snob") and I had ever had. The large pieces of calamari were expertly cooked, still very tender even after frying. There was a hint of spice in the calamari dipping sauce that I quite enjoyed. For entrees, we got Pad Thai, Pad See You, and Panang Curry -- all favorites we've had many places (despite the many alluring new-to-me options, I admit we all defaulted to known quantities) -- and we were impressed across the board. Everything was flavorful, had just the right amount of spice, and came out steaming hot. We really enjoyed the cozy atmosphere of this restaurant, which felt lively and friendly. It was very busy, with a line out the door by the time we left, so reservations are a good idea!

Lol we waited about 30 minutes to eat, but it was packed and everyone's food smelled delicious so we figured it was worth the wait! I love being a foodie, but I have food at allergies too monosodium glutamate/MSG. It's lovely because that's my own cultures food since I'm part Japanese! Lol. I was surprised to see that they actually added MSG to a lot of the sauces here. There was no way to not have the sauce prepared without MSG because the sauces were made ahead of time. So that made me a little sad. Yet the dishes we ordered did not have any added MSG so we got * spicy calamari *Summer roll *Tom Yum soup *Pad Thai with chicken and shrimp Fried Tom, Yum rice All the dishes were delicious and had a really good spice! So spicy I actually had to order a glass of white wine with The southern pad Thai version with a smoked spice. It was too much for me, but my boyfriend could handle it. Lol. Once I ordered the white wine, I didn't realize it would take so long. It was Duckhorn Sauvignon Blanc, so a great bottle, but I should've just ordered a Thai beer since that was on tap. The server came back and apologized and said she was having trouble getting the cork off. Lol. I love the murals and the environment here it really reminds me of pictures that I've seen of Thailand! My friends have traveled there, and I love their food and the fact that it's Asian without MSG. There's a beautiful mural along the backside of the wall and a really cute mirror in the bathroom as well. I would love to come back here and eat more dishes!! But next time I will definitely order a Thai beer!! Hee.

Green curry with tofu (10/10) was very less sweet and perfectly spicy. With Jasmine rice it went really well Pad Thai with tofu (7/10) was a bit more sweet than I am used to. Food was sooooo mediocre, lowkey puts a bad name on thai food cause whatcwa even going on. Nothing had flavour, gravy for lamb was super watery, the veggie patty was super oily but also somehow dry, the only thing that had a bit of flavor were the tiny wing and curry. Also to add on it was so overpriced for such a small portion size. Drinks just tasted like Kombucha, mid, ok price. It was a pretty decorated restaurant--ill give them that. Overall, find a better place, so many better thai restaurants out there!!
