I…read moreGoogled the best home-style parathas, and Apni Royal Kitchen, came up with amazing ratings and now I completely understand why! The owner is incredibly sweet and has created such a warm, homely atmosphere. While I was ordering, he could tell I wasn't quite feeling like myself today, so he kindly suggested what I should eat and even offered me a really good cup of chai. That small gesture honestly made my day. I ordered the aloo onion paratha and daal makhani and both were absolutely delicious. It genuinely felt like I was eating a home-cooked meal -- comforting, fresh, and tasted heavenly! And here's what won me over even more -- I asked for some extra cut onions ,pickle and chai and they happily refilled them twice without charging anything extra! Such a small thing, but it really shows their hospitality. Oh girl, I'm officially a fan now! Definitely a must-try place for delicious home-style Indian food, warm hospitality, and genuinely positive vibes.

As someone who's always on the lookout for authentic North Indian flavors, this place truly impressed me. They serve homestyle Punjabi food, and you can taste the authenticity in every bite. We tried the mix paratha, gobhi paratha, Afghani soya chaap, and garlic naan, and everything exceeded our expectations. The food came out piping hot, fresh, and absolutely delicious--so much so that we didn't even stop to take pictures and just jumped straight into enjoying it! The parathas were perfectly cooked--soft on the inside with just the right crisp on the outside, and generously stuffed. The Afghani soya chaap was rich, creamy, and packed with flavor--definitely a standout dish. What really stood out was how comforting and homely the food felt. It's the kind of meal that instantly reminds you of home-cooked North Indian food, made with care and love. The service is quick, and the staff is incredibly friendly and welcoming, which adds to the overall experience. They do have a small dine-in setup, but I personally opted for takeout. If you're craving authentic Punjabi flavors in the Bay Area, this place is an absolute must-try. Hidden gem alert--you don't want to miss this one!

I ordered Chole Kulcha, Chili Chicken, Tandoori Chicken, Chap, Roomali Roti; Chole Kulcha- I don't have to eat Chole with it. Kulcha itself was very good, crispy and filled with masala. 5 star Chili Chicken- Quality of chicken matters the most. It was very good. 5 star Tandoori Chicken- Quality was great. Juicy, need to eat there only. 5 Star Chap- Need to eat right away. Don't let it wait otherwise it will loose its texture and taste. Taste when it is hot, good mixture of spices and chutneys with it. Onion enhances the flavor of it. 5 Star Roomali Roti- probably the best Roomali roti. Does not matter where they make it. They put butter on it. It does not get chewy or gets dry. 5 Star Sunny and Love they work hard to make it happen. Kudos to them. Noticed, while I was dining, two people came in and expected them to deliver right away and they left. Guys, give them a break, Truck opens at 4:00pm they have to set up the Tandoor it takes time atleast 45 min. To warm up. You can't expect to serve tandoori items right away.

Eat On Monday started doing pop up dinner options. This past wknd, we saw that they were doing Garlic Shrimp Hawaiian style and a Curry Tonkatsu plate as well as offering up roscoes ice cream tacos. We got 4 Garlic Shrimp orders and 1 Curry Tonkatsu and 4 ice cream tacos to try. The Curry Tonkatsu was bomb. The Japanese influence Curry was good with the rice and a perfect pairing to the crispy tonkatsu cutlet. I wished I had ordered more servings of this over the Garlic shrimp. The Garlic Shrimp was good but a tad too dry. We needed a garlic sauce to compliment the garlic rice. There was a bit too much raw chopped garlic mixed vs sautéed chopped garlic. Hopefully they make the adjustment. Kids loved the roscoes ice cream tacos for $5 each. We wanted more of the Youngsters (cookies and cream) but it only allowed us to order 1 as it was probably the last one in stock. If you aren't sure what to have for dinner, this was an option for Fri/Sat for us. I think they offer it up via doordash etc as well. They also debated a Thursday night addition when I was picking up our food. Try them out. Good portions.

He suggested the burrito al pastor. I opted for the super burrito version of the al pastor since it included avocado. The burrito in itself was okay. It was not bad but it lacked enough flavor for me to want to go out of my way to visit again. I dissected the burrito to figure out what was missing, and I think the meat was under seasoned. The meat was good to eat by itself but way under seasoned for a large burrito. On a positive note, I did think that this food truck did a good job making the tortilla crispy, which added a nice texture with every bite. Tip: skip the avocado. I usually prefer avocado because it gives the burrito the bit of creaminess to bring everything together, but there were only two or three thin slices in the order. Also skip the horchata. It lacked cinnamon.

During my recent visit, we got the carne asada quesadilla and tripa burrito. The quesadilla was large in size and came with fresh veggies on the side (shredded lettuce, jalapeno, sliced cucumber and radish), but there wasn't much cheese inside, so little that I thought they forgot to put cheese in it at all... I eventually found a tiny sprinkle melted and hardened in the tortilla, could only see it if I looked closely, and definitely couldn't taste it. Luckily the meat in both the burrito and quesadilla had good flavor even if a bit dry, and the green sauce added a much needed kick. It was a satisfying enough meal, since we were hungry. Service was a bit slow with only a few customers, our order took about 15-20 minutes to be ready.
