Veggie steamed momo - 5/5 Chilli veggie momo - 4.5/5 Service - very friendly Ambiance - it's a food truck, so be ready to wait for a table.

Tried the newest addition to the Milpitas food scene -- Momo Mantra, a Nepalese food truck serving a mix of Indo-Chinese and Nepalese dishes. We ordered the chicken fried momo, chicken jhol momo, chicken chowmein, and potato sticks. The food was ready in about 20 minutes, which was pretty reasonable considering everything tasted freshly made. The highlight for us was definitely the momos. Both the fried momo and jhol momo were delicious. The filling was flavorful, juicy, and adequately stuffed. The only small issue was that the momos were smaller compared to some other momo places we've tried. The jhol/chutney served with the momos was especially impressive--perfectly spiced, tangy, and incredibly flavorful. It elevated the momos to the next level. We asked for the chowmein to be made extra spicy, and they got the spice level just right. The chicken pieces were a bit chunkier than I personally prefer, but they were juicy and properly cooked. The main issue with the chowmein, however, was that the noodles were undercooked, which affected the overall texture of the dish. The potato sticks were really good--crispy, spicy, and very addictive. Overall, it was a solid first experience, especially for a newly opened food truck. The flavors are definitely there, and with a few small improvements, this place has a lot of potential. We'd definitely give them another try--especially for those momos.

Achar to the momo was not really that good and the chicken chow felt like the noodles were undercooked. Food was ready quick, but personally I will not be going back.

As someone who's always on the lookout for authentic North Indian flavors, this place truly impressed me. They serve homestyle Punjabi food, and you can taste the authenticity in every bite. We tried the mix paratha, gobhi paratha, Afghani soya chaap, and garlic naan, and everything exceeded our expectations. The food came out piping hot, fresh, and absolutely delicious--so much so that we didn't even stop to take pictures and just jumped straight into enjoying it! The parathas were perfectly cooked--soft on the inside with just the right crisp on the outside, and generously stuffed. The Afghani soya chaap was rich, creamy, and packed with flavor--definitely a standout dish. What really stood out was how comforting and homely the food felt. It's the kind of meal that instantly reminds you of home-cooked North Indian food, made with care and love. The service is quick, and the staff is incredibly friendly and welcoming, which adds to the overall experience. They do have a small dine-in setup, but I personally opted for takeout. If you're craving authentic Punjabi flavors in the Bay Area, this place is an absolute must-try. Hidden gem alert--you don't want to miss this one!

It's funny this truck is called Eat on Monday bc I only ever eat this on a Thursday hahahah. We…read morehave a rotating schedule of trucks that come to my office every Thursday so I've had the opportunity to try this particular truck quite a few times. The UFC is consistently my favorite choice there. I've tried their other food but every time I order something else, I tell myself it just doesn't live up to the UFC. Their fried chicken sandwich is perfectly crispy, decently sized (I always food coma afterwards), is quick to arrive after ordering, and comes with a bag of Hawaiian kettle chips. Love when this truck comes to the office because I know the food is always good and I never have to wait long.

Eat On Monday started doing pop up dinner options. This past wknd, we saw that they were doing Garlic Shrimp Hawaiian style and a Curry Tonkatsu plate as well as offering up roscoes ice cream tacos. We got 4 Garlic Shrimp orders and 1 Curry Tonkatsu and 4 ice cream tacos to try. The Curry Tonkatsu was bomb. The Japanese influence Curry was good with the rice and a perfect pairing to the crispy tonkatsu cutlet. I wished I had ordered more servings of this over the Garlic shrimp. The Garlic Shrimp was good but a tad too dry. We needed a garlic sauce to compliment the garlic rice. There was a bit too much raw chopped garlic mixed vs sautéed chopped garlic. Hopefully they make the adjustment. Kids loved the roscoes ice cream tacos for $5 each. We wanted more of the Youngsters (cookies and cream) but it only allowed us to order 1 as it was probably the last one in stock. If you aren't sure what to have for dinner, this was an option for Fri/Sat for us. I think they offer it up via doordash etc as well. They also debated a Thursday night addition when I was picking up our food. Try them out. Good portions.

The order was ready quickly. The vada pav was very authentic with the dry chutney powder and the chillies. It was crispy and right amount of spicy. The dabeli was tangy and sweet and the right combo with the crispy peanuts The spicy amul pav bhaji was what brought me here. The pav was loaded with butter and spices. The bhaji was a bit large quantity and loaded with butter. The bhaji has little heavy flavor to lavang/elaichi but was good overall. Definitely gonna be back for the other new items

The garlic chutney was the perfect level of spice, and they serve the chutneys on the side instead of assembling it in the vada pav itself. The kutchi dabeli was also delicious, with a tangy chutney and flavorful masala. The spicy peanuts on the side were a nice touch too. I expected them to put the peanuts inside the dabeli though. I am not sure if they put pomegranete seeds inside the dabeli, atleast there were none in mine. The bread pattice was decent but nothing extraordinary. I've definitely had better at other food trucks in the area, so I wouldn't order it again. They also offer pav bhaji, which I didn't try this time. Out of everything I tried, the vada pav was hands down the best dish. I must add that they have plenty of seating for big and small groups so that's always a plus. And the space was very clean and well maintained. The service was quick and the order was ready within 10 minutes.
