Chicken Shawarma rice plate and Salmon rice plate

This is my go-to for Mediterranean food! Everything is delicious and fresh and always so consistent. My favorite is the chicken shawarma with rice or salad with sides of roasted red pepper walnut dip and garlic dip. Also enjoy their fresh apple celery beet juice too. The food comes out quickly and everything tastes so flavorful. Huge portions as well. This location has lots of seating and service is friendly and fast. Highly recommend! :)

This restaurant is one of those go-to places where you get good Mediterranean food that both grownups and kids enjoy equally. They are very quick in bringing in the order and that's a plus when you have hungry kids with you. Another thing I like about this place is that it's spacious and the seating is in such a way that even if it's crowded, you still don't feel it. Every seat feels tucked away to its own space and that works best when you have kids with random meltdowns and you don't want to worry about ruining the ambiance.

Tried this for the first time and waow!!! My goal is to be a frequent flyer. EVERYTHING WAS AWESOME. could eat this everyday and mix it up. I had the chicken Kebob over rice with lentil soup and tabouli My husband got lamb shawarma with hummus vegetables and fries. Do not pass on the veggies YUM not your average Fries are okay. I'd pass on those LENTIL SOUP MUST All the meats 10/10 Ambiance is cute with nice lighting and lots of space. Service was friendly and fast. Everything was clean Go Eat Here

DISH N DASH is a solid spot when you want something quick and tasty. The grilled kebabs are flavorful, but if you're on a paleo diet (leave behind the rice) you can't substitute the sides -- just order extra veggies as a side dish and it works out perfectly. Everything comes out fast, the food is consistently good, and it's an easy dinner option when you want something simple and satisfying.

First time coming here and it is an order and find your seat type of restaurant but has a cabin cozy vibe to this place and I love it! I got the Mansaf which is a yogurt like curry with lamb and rice and it had a tangy taste to it with tender bites of lamb. I also tried the beriani dejaj which is similar style with a more subtle tangy taste to it with chicken bites which I might like more. The kebab plates looked like good staple pieces and I tried the lentil soup which was delicious. Side note, they have a sauce bar with 4 different sauces which all tasted great, but I loved the red hot sauce which had a perfect heat for all of the dishes!

Beef Shawarma from the grill with grilled veggies and babaganoush with pita bread.

From the grill, I ordered the beef shawarma with basmati rice. My two sides were grilled veggies and babaganoush. The portions were pretty generous. I felt like it was good amount to feed two people. My beef shawarma was tender and not dry at all. My pita bread was warm and tasted so good with the babaganoush. It's a self service concept. You order at the counter and pick up a number.

Delicious food, generous portions and cozy ambiance!! This restaurant is such a great example of value for money! I had Veggie Shawarma Wrap with side of Falafel and Lentil Soup. It was really good. We got cauliflower wings for the table which was the only disappointing dish from all the things we tried. Chicken dishes were good too, my husband loved Biryani Dajaj. I also always love their fresh juices. My favorite is Apple + Ginger + Lemon. The small Chrismasy decor and fireplace added extra love to our holiday family lunch.

We swung by Dish N Dash on Sunday around lunch time. It was our first time and the reviews are pretty accurate. When you walk in, the inside is really nice and the ambiance is great. I ordered chicken shawarma from the grill section. My sides were falafel and hummus. The flavors were interesting. I've never had edamame with chicken shawarma before. It added a sense of freshness which was nice. The prices are reasonable for what you get. We loved that they had an allergy menu as my husband is gluten free. We will definitely be back if we are in the area. Give Dish N Dash a try!

I got the chicken shawarma over rice with hummus and babaganoush. The sides were amazing. I wish it came with more pita bread but the plate tasted great. I feel like it is a solid spot for Mediterranean cuisine. The service was very quick and they even have an allergen menu which was helpful since I'm allergic to nuts. The restaurant was very spacious and had lots of seating/parking on a weekday night. They were showing the nba playoffs so it was nice to watch and dine.

My previous review highlights my favorite dish here but this time I will focus on my husband's favorite. His goto is the kabab plate (either chicken or lamb) and you can choose from a variety of sides. I usually end up with leftovers but my husband's plate is always clean!

The space looks like it used to be something else but Dish N Dash made it work for them. I like the Fremont location and so I tried this one and overall food quality was very consistent but I would say portioning at Fremont is more. I like this concept a lot and it always makes for a great lunch or dinner. The chicken salad is always a winner for me. Shopping center parking lot. Please come and create your own adventure.

Pretty sure that's only available at DishDash, the Murphy St. location which is more set up for dinners/sit-down dining.

If you do stop by for lunch, I recommend arriving with some times to spare as this place can get quite busy. That said, there's always seating and I recommend eating your food while it's still fresh. The thing about shawarmaji is that it's simple but everything is perfect. The chicken is tender, well-seasoned, and generously portioned in all of their items. Their pickles are homemade, have a little variety, and a satisfying amount of crunch. Their toum and chili sauce are also made in-house and are the perfect complement to their food. I always ask for extra. Their chicken shawarma fries are excellent as well. Same toppings as the wrap, but you swap out the flat bread for a generous portion of crispy, almost battered, fries. They're also available as a stand alone side and are worth getting, but the toppings really take it to the next level.

First off, the full-size wrap is huge, definitely enough to fill you up, and it tasted amazing. The chicken was super juicy and packed with flavor. I loved the garlic sauce and pickles inside the wrap, and I even got extra garlic sauce on the side because it was that good. The chicken shawarma fries were also delicious. They load them up with a generous amount of chicken, pickles, and garlic sauce layered over the fries, so every bite has tons of flavor. This is definitely one of my favorite spots for chicken shawarma now. Highly recommend!

It definitely could have used the coleslaw and pickles promised by the menu but they weren't in evidence. That was the problem with the falafel wrap, too: the menu promised hummus, cabbage & tomatoes salad, and pickled turnips, but those ingredients weren't anywhere to be seen. There was some lettuce instead, but lettuce is a poor substitute as it just becomes immediately soggy and adds no flavor. If you've ever had falafel in Israel, you will be disappointed by the falafel here, unfortunately. (Israeli falafel shops each make at least a dozen toppings from family recipes, so you put as many veggies and sauces in as you can to create a flavor party in your mouth.)

Hella yummy Palestinian food in the Bay!…read more I've heard of Holyland but finally had the chance to dine there for a weekend lunch. These days it's always at the front of my mind that food spots that call themselves "Middle Eastern" or "Mediterranean" truly divulge who is the owner and chefs are. I'm talking about only eating from restaurants that can name the country their food comes from be it Falasteen, Jordan, Lebanon, Morocco, the list goes on. Holyland is located in the industrial part of Santa Clara, and they boast lots of interior seating (great for large parties and group meals) and also run a catering service. So there's loads of parking and plenty of space. My friend and I were hungry, so I got the lamb kofta and he had the beef plates. We were SO happy. It comes with a light tangy salad, delicious hummus with a kick of spice, a bed of delicious yellow rice and slender pita bread. They also have serve-yourself hot cardamom tea which is so delicious and perfect. They also serve a bunch of other refrigerated drinks like Salaam Cola and kefir. The mezze plate with x4 different dips looks so yummy, I would get that next time with a large group to share. Will definitely head back with a larger group. We saw other diners from couples, to solo to large families eating. The interior could use some sprucing up, but the quality of the food, staff, and authenticity of the place is #1. Delicious.
