Quality/Quantity - So good to meet our friends. We only get to see them once or twice a year; everyone in this group travels the world often. So it creates a challenge to get together. And finally, the last person in this group will retire at the end of 2026 (well earned)! So if we are not all traveling, maybe we can actually get together more often...? Dare to dream. Okay, today we got the following. It was more than enough for all us light eaters. Actually, I was surprised how much we all actually ate, compliments to the chef. Beef Shawarma - Tender beef, good mix of beef and veggies. Good flavors. Chicken Shawarma - My plate, I finished most of it and had my daughter finish the rest. I got rice, falafel (my daughter ate 3.5 of the 4, lol), and fries as sides. I could have used more fries, but that was probably a good thing I did not. Mansaf - The lamb was so tender. My daughter took half of this to-go. Lamb Shawarma - Again, a very tender lamb Salmon - Was okay, the healthier choice. Tender, I would have preferred it less cooked. Salad - Another healthy choice. Lamb Kebab - A more hearty lamb. Actually this is my preference over a tender lamb. Tabsi Salmon - Again, I would have preferred the salmon less cooked. Was not dry, but would have preferred it to be more tender. Sides we all shared - Hummus, lentil soup, rice, falafel, fries, veggies, salad, carrot walnut (this was actually really good), freeken, etc. Dessert - Baklava assorted; my daughter took all of this to go... She did NOT share with the group, lol. Drinks - Mango Yogurt, Pine/App/Lem/Mint Juice, Franziskaner Hefe (can you believe I did NOT drink today :) ) , mint lemonade, fountain drinks, etc. Overall, the food was good. Ambiance - Huge location. Not busy at all. They closed the "private" room right after we got here. Nice decor, this used to be a Mexican restaurant. Plenty of seating. But we did have to move some tables around to accommodate our 9 person group. Full bar. See pictures. Plenty of mall parking - Be safe; see the sign of car break ins. Open 7 days a week - 11am to 9pm or 9:30pm. Clean bathrooms. Well, they are NOT signing the log; see pictures. Service - Counter service. Self service - Drinks, napkins, and sauces. We have to walk back up to counter for more utensils. Bus your own tables, etc. Price - $261 + tip; our generous friends paid!!! Thank you! Averaged $30 per person which was not bad for what we got. Owner Comment - Congrats on all your success and with your 6 locations.
I forget we have a gem of a restaurant with good Middle Eastern food right in Milpitas. It's easy to order - walk up to their counter, place your order, and find your own seat - and their wait staff will bring out your food to your table. With a lot of seating area and TVs throughout the dining area, there should always be a place for you to dine. It's a busy place but it doesn't feel busy if you know what I mean. They also have a full bar, which I haven't order from, but it's a nice option to have. The food is plentiful. For a almost $21 plate of Chicken Shawarma with 2 sides and rice, it's a deal. I always take home what I can't finish. Hope this place stays around since it's a good, family friendly place.
I was a little skeptical about trying Dish N Dash because I'm 8 months pregnant and very picky with my food, and I wasn't familiar with the menu. As I stood there trying to figure out what to order, Nora kindly came over and asked if I needed help. She took the time to ask what I liked and what I was craving. I told her I wanted a salad, and she personally walked me through her recommendations from beginning to end. Everything she suggested was a 10/10! Nora's patience, kindness, and exceptional customer service truly stood out to me. She made me feel so comfortable and took the stress out of ordering somewhere new. I will absolutely be returning, and I have the manager Nora to thank for that! Thank you for making my experience so wonderful!
Was excited to try Dish N Dash after living in South Bay for so long but I thought it was just ok! I got the lamb shawarma over rice with tabbouleh and lentil soup. The lentil soup was super delish and probably my favorite item from here. The meat portion seemed a bit small and they gave a lot of rice. I think it definitely could have benefitted from some kind of sauce because it was a bit dry and the flavors were falling flat. I liked the corn and edamame but I was really hoping for some more depth of flavor here. The chips along with the lentil soup were the highlights of the meal, which unfortunately isn't good enough reason to return for me.
OMG!! The Babaghanouge has been the best I've had. The garlic dip was like a whipped creamy heaven bite. We ordered the veggie delight and the Chicken Shawarma with the edamame corn salsa and it was perfectly seasoned the salsa gave the plate a different taste (good taste) also the wings were so juicy, I should have ordered extra pita, I ended up using the falafel as pita.
Solid food at a casual, yet elevated place to catch up with friends! Order at the counter and they give you a buzzer to pick up. Falafel is not dry (my problem at other places)! Loved the sides - nice and creamy hummus + nice subtle roasted flavor on the babaganoush. My friend got fried pita chips and they looked so flavorful. Also loved all the sauces you can grab on the side!
TL;DR: Friendly fast service and delicious food - will totally be back! Skip the fries next time. Came for a quick meal because a friend had recommended it and was surprised just how filling and delicious the food was! Ordered the lamb shawarma with hummus and vegetables. Added fries on the side (obviously) but honestly a little disappointed that I did. They were rather soft and would pass on them next time. Everything else was so delicious and can't wait to be back! If you're looking for authentic Middle Eastern flavors that hit the spot without feeling overly heavy, this is a fantastic choice. We ordered the Veggie Shawarma Wrap and the Chicken Shawarma Grill, and both were hits. The veggie wrap was fresh and well-seasoned, but the star of the show was the grill plate. The chicken was tender, perfectly charred, and paired beautifully with the fluffy rice. What really elevates the experience here is the variety of dips available. We tried the Hummus, Muhammara and the Baba Ghanoush--all were incredibly flavorful. It's a self service place where you order your own food and pick it up. This is such a nice location! You still order at the counter, but your food is brought to you. Dish n Dash is so good and the quality is always on point. I orders the falafel plate and it was hard to stop eating it. The cucumber martini was super refreshing and the cucumber lemonade was not too sweet. Can't wait to come back! Plenty of vegetarian options!
This is my go-to for Mediterranean food! Everything is delicious and fresh and always so consistent. My favorite is the chicken shawarma with rice or salad with sides of roasted red pepper walnut dip and garlic dip. Also enjoy their fresh apple celery beet juice too. The food comes out quickly and everything tastes so flavorful. Huge portions as well. This location has lots of seating and service is friendly and fast. Highly recommend! :)
This restaurant is one of those go-to places where you get good Mediterranean food that both grownups and kids enjoy equally. They are very quick in bringing in the order and that's a plus when you have hungry kids with you. Another thing I like about this place is that it's spacious and the seating is in such a way that even if it's crowded, you still don't feel it. Every seat feels tucked away to its own space and that works best when you have kids with random meltdowns and you don't want to worry about ruining the ambiance.
Huge dining space and bar area. Order at the counter first then seat yourself. Love the self service condiment area. Grilled meats, kebabs, wraps, salads, etc. Pick 2 sides from a large sides menu. I got a kebab plate and chose hummus which came with pita and falafel which came with 5. Falafels were very tasty, crisp exterior and flavorful interior. Everything was all very tasty and large portions. The homemade pita was great as well.
Tried this for the first time and waow!!! My goal is to be a frequent flyer. EVERYTHING WAS AWESOME. could eat this everyday and mix it up. I had the chicken Kebob over rice with lentil soup and tabouli My husband got lamb shawarma with hummus vegetables and fries. Do not pass on the veggies YUM not your average Fries are okay. I'd pass on those LENTIL SOUP MUST All the meats 10/10 Ambiance is cute with nice lighting and lots of space. Service was friendly and fast. Everything was clean Go Eat Here
My daughter took me to this restaurant and I absolutely loved it. The meat was well-seasoned and the salad, the fries, and garlic hummus blended so well together. My plate was so spotless that my daughter could not help making fun of me. The restaurant also offered additional sauces if you wanted to enhance the flavor. I tried them all and everything blended together so perfectly. This restaurant concept is self-service--we prepaid for the food and picked it up when it was ready. Since it wasn't busy, the staff brought the food to us and took our dishes away rather than us having to drop the dirty dishes in the assigned area. The staff is extremely friendly, the restaurant is clean, and the service is top-notch. I will be back to check out other dishes. Highly recommend! read more

DISH N DASH is a solid spot when you want something quick and tasty. The grilled kebabs are flavorful, but if you're on a paleo diet (leave behind the rice) you can't substitute the sides -- just order extra veggies as a side dish and it works out perfectly. From the grill, I ordered the beef shawarma with basmati rice. My two sides were grilled veggies and babaganoush. The portions were pretty generous. I felt like it was good amount to feed two people. Delicious food, generous portions and cozy ambiance!! This restaurant is such a great example of value for money! I had Veggie Shawarma Wrap with side of Falafel and Lentil Soup. It was really good. We got cauliflower wings for the table which was the only disappointing dish from all the things we tried. Chicken dishes were good too, my husband loved Biryani Dajaj. I also always love their fresh juices. My favorite is Apple + Ginger + Lemon. The small Chrismasy decor and fireplace added extra love to our holiday family lunch. read more

First time coming here and it is an order and find your seat type of restaurant but has a cabin cozy vibe to this place and I love it! I got the Mansaf which is a yogurt like curry with lamb and rice and it had a tangy taste to it with tender bites of lamb. I also tried the beriani dejaj which is similar style with a more subtle tangy taste to it with chicken bites which I might like more. The kebab plates looked like good staple pieces and I tried the lentil soup which was delicious. Side note, they have a sauce bar with 4 different sauces which all tasted great, but I loved the red hot sauce which had a perfect heat for all of the dishes! read more

The space looks like it used to be something else but Dish N Dash made it work for them. I like the Fremont location and so I tried this one and overall food quality was very consistent but I would say portioning at Fremont is more. I like this concept a lot and it always makes for a great lunch or dinner. The chicken salad is always a winner for me. Shopping center parking lot. Please come and create your own adventure. read more

We were looking forward to some outdoor dining because we had the dog with us but were told that we could bring her into the dining room. My wife asked twice to confirm, and she was told that we could sit to the left of the front doors and all would be fine. I felt odd but took her in on a short leash, hoping for the best. No one appeared to pay any attention to us. We took a table that had a booth on one side and two chairs on the other. I removed one chair to an out of the way area and had the dog laydown in the space where the chair had been. After looking over the menu, I stayed at the table while my wife went up to the counter to place our order. She came back with a order pager and informed me that the food would be delivered to the table by staff. She then went to get a couple of glasses of water for us to drink and some for the dog as well. When the food came, so did forks and napkins. Everything was pretty straight forward and there were no surprises. Grilled Veggies - 4 - It was a nice variation to have some asparagus, but it would have been even better if the woody parts had been removed first. Still, it was a nice change of pace from the usual zucchini, eggplant, onion, bell pepper blend. There was also some cauliflower and broccoli. Veggie Delight - 5 - The Pita could have been hotter but everything else was very good. I often don't like Falafel and there's only one other restaurant where I'll order it. The Falafel here was very good. Salad with Falafel - 5 - She was quite pleased with her salad and also enjoyed the Falafel. We'll have to come back to try some other flavors. read more

Obsessed is an understatement. I had no idea this location was soo nice inside!!! I love the bar area!!! The food was soooo fresh and incredible, I cannot get over it!!! Everything I had was 1000/10. Service is friendly, fast and efficient! read more
We swung by Dish N Dash on Sunday around lunch time. It was our first time and the reviews are pretty accurate. When you walk in, the inside is really nice and the ambiance is great. I ordered chicken shawarma from the grill section. My sides were falafel and hummus. The flavors were interesting. I've never had edamame with chicken shawarma before. It added a sense of freshness which was nice. The prices are reasonable for what you get. We loved that they had an allergy menu as my husband is gluten free. We will definitely be back if we are in the area. Give Dish N Dash a try! read more

Good food. Nice and clean interior to sit. Order and sit while they prepare food and bring to your table. Pricey lamb kebab for $30. Have not tried dessert. Falafel is not dry like other places. read more
My previous review highlights my favorite dish here but this time I will focus on my husband's favorite. His goto is the kabab plate (either chicken or lamb) and you can choose from a variety of sides. I usually end up with leftovers but my husband's plate is always clean! read more

Wasn't expecting to place an order at a kiosk and carry buzzer, at least not at this price point ($45 for one dish and a beer), but, lamb was delicious and portion was decent sized. Would repeat if in a hurry and needed a Mediterranean fix. Update: stopped in the restroom on the way out.... Definitely hasn't been cleaned today.... Hope the kitchen is in better shape.... read more
This place is pretty cool. We came here because my friend wanted to get a hearty meal. It's tucked in the corner where there was plenty of parking, also it was very cool inside, during a hot day. There are plenty of menus for us to select and the options are pretty good. The service is pretty good as well, the person taking our orders was able to offer us options and was very patient. The pricing is about average for the area. Overall, pretty good, would come here again or other locations! read more
