It does not compare to Cava's variety, but they differentiates themselves w/ their own flavors. I also enjoy them having warm lentil soup Also the Dubai Chocolate is pretty good but pricey. Service is fast and efficient - I order here all the time for office parties and they do a good job providing set up and allergy placards. Only gripe is the falafel make me break out into pimples-- I mean it's deep fried in oil -- but it just doesn't work for me. read more

My coworkers and I had lunch at Sajj Mediterranean which is located @first shopping center. First time trying it and noticed that it was a chipotle-style for middle eastern food. The parking was surprisingly good for lunch time. Primarily inside seating. The restaurant was crowded. The atmosphere was loud as it's a popular place. I chose the BYO Bowl with Pomegranate Chicken: Marinated with pomegranate molasses and grilled to perfection. I chose the tumeric rice, eggplant ragout, tomato cucumber mix, diced beets, diced pickles, Babaganous, Tzatziki, & Lemon Aioli. Served with Lentil soup. A good healthy meal with fresh ingredients! First time trying this location and first time trying a plate. I got the Uber eats deal so each plate was about 11.5 which is a great deal! I think back then they only had bowls and those were huge... I dunno if the portions have come down a bit I'll hafta try a bowl to compare. The portions for the plate were decent. I wouldn't say generous but not skimpy either. I tried all the diff proteins and they were slightly dry but generally solid. I kinda like Nick the Greek bowls better since there's more meat but I do like that this tastes a bit more authentic and I do love that they have beets and jalapenos as an option. And they don't look especially fresh. But it tasted great. Service was good. Dining room was clean. Bathroom could have been a little cleaner. I came in at 7. The open sign wasn't illuminated. It was too late to stop her from scooping the meat which she admitted had been sitting 2 hours onto my bowl. None of the items on the steam table were covered. To make things worse this was flavorless. I didn't return my food. I literally just paid NOT to eat here. I have passed by Sajj many times before but haven't been here until a lunch buddy suggested it. We arrived around 11:30 and it wasn't busy. None of us had been here before. We all followed suite with each other and ordered the salad bowl. You pick your protein and in what. You can get it in a wrap, or with rice, freekeh, or couscous in a bowl. Pick a spread or all three. I got hummus and garlic sauce. The other option is tzatziki. There are many toppings to choose from, vegetables and sauces. Some, I believe, are at an additional cost. There were too many ingredients to name what I got but bottom line, it was delicious! You also get a cup of lentil soup. The place is very clean, and there are tables outside. It got very busy toward the end of our lunch but it seemed the line went fairly quickly. I didn't realize until later that they have self serve water and soda fountain where you get your napkins and utensils. There was a green sauce in a squeeze bottle. It had only tahini sauce as the dressing as an option which doesn't make sense to me since tahini sauce is going to make the whole dish taste bitter if not combined with anything else. Sunday August 17, 2025 around 6pm. I ordered a kid's falafel bowl. I was with my daughter. Some guy, who was friendly, prepared the bowl. At the checkout there was a lady. She told me it was $9 something. Then, as I was about to pay, she opened the already close falafel bowl, took one falalal out and put it back in their serving area. She told me that kids get only 3 falafel. So this lady went out of her way to open a packaged meal, take something out of it and put it back behind the counter. That too for a kid's meal. Right away upon entering we were greeted by the young man behind the counter, who offered us some samples, along with some suggestions on what to try. We were undecided about whether we wanted to eat there at the time, but after trying a couple of very tasty meat options we ordered rice bowls with beef shawarma. I really appreciated the variety of choices for the type of dish (wrap vs. bowl vs. salad, etc) and the choices of toppings and dressings. Even though my wife and I both ordered beef shawarma rice bowls, they were very different. And both delicious! We'll definitely be back.
