Stumbled upon Sweetgreens after hearing good reviews about them. My husband and I decided to try them out. Everything was nice and clean inside Sweetgreens. We ordered a Green goddess and Miso glazed salmon bowl. Both were very good; but it's a bit on the pricier side. Not sure if we went on a bad day, but our order took longer than 30 minutes to get and we ordered online. Was a bit of a wait for an online order. One of the workers said they were backed up from online and in person. They only had 3 employees that day. read more

We wanted something healthy and different. We happened upon Sweetgreen and saw some of the bowls people were enjoying in their outdoor patio so we decided to try it. We walked in, but didn't exactly know what to do. We looked for the menu and finally discovered it was behind us. The staff isn't very interactive. Nobody tells you hello or ask if you need any assistance so that was a little disconcerting. We noticed people ahead of us ordering on the kiosk so we figured this was a self service kind of order place. Our family of three each chose our bowls and watched with amazement how it would fill the grains and other bowl components in the robot style assembly. Our bowls were finished up by someone that added the additional touches. Each of us loved the flavor combinations on our bowls. I love that it had the macros on there so we could choose the best option for our nutrition needs. The trash was a bit full and definitely needed attending and I wasn't crazy about the basically no interaction from the staff. It just felt kind of cold but the food and concept are pretty awesome. We'd love it if you made it to "off strip" areas of Las Vegas. read more

Really good salad spot - the quality of the food, customer service, and clean environment! I've ordered from here a few times (from my phone and the kiosk. Always been a smooth and easy process. Make sure to sign in/scan your QR to earn points. I've created my own salad bowl every time. The price comes with base (up to 2 selections), 4 toppings and 3 dressings. There are so many options to choose from in each category! I've tried both the roasted and blackened chicken - blackened tastes much better. I'd recommend the lime cilantro jalapeño and miso sesame ginger dressings. I really like the ginger greens drink! It's so refreshing and love the ginger kick. It's a very clean and big space - great location. read more

Poor service. Didn't even call my name when my food was ready. I got the garlic steak phone. Look at the quality of the state. Looks like leather & gave me two pieces of broccoli. This is the most horrible sweet greens i've ever been to. read more

One star--and only because zero isn't an option. I paid over $30 for one of the worst meals I've had in a long time. The steak was cold, rubbery, and absolutely awful. The vegetables were also cold and completely tasteless. There were barely any crispy onions, and the dressing container was only half full--not nearly enough to make the food remotely enjoyable. The hummus and focaccia were no better. The bread was cold and so unappetizing that I wouldn't feed it to a dog. To make matters worse, Sweetgreen's online system couldn't even locate my order despite my entering the exact order number. I also repeatedly tried submitting feedback through its internal survey, but it kept cutting me off and never submitted. Terrible food, terrible value, and apparently no functioning way to report a problem or obtain assistance. I wouldn't wish this Santa Clara location on my worst enemy. read more

Got the wrong protein in my salad. If you can't eat certain things, that's not a small mistake. Not ordering here again.

I first learned about sweetgreen when I was living in Boston. Always a good form of getting a salad/healthy meal. It is a little expensive but all the ingredients are really good. This is one in Santa Clara was easy to order online and pick up was easy. I talked to the front desk person for a second and she was super nice. What absolutely floored me away and I just wasn't ready for society to be at that point yet.... All the food was made using robots. All the different ingredients are lined up in these different columns and it is just released into the bowl for what the order is. I'm not ready for robots to make my food. So like the food was good, but I really hoped a human would make it with love and care. Technology is crazy. Good for them to find something that works. But I hope they still pay their actual workers well. Clean place. Maybe three people eating inside. read more

I have yet to find a tastier healthy food place in the bay! Food: The harvest bowl is a 5/5! Ambiance: This location is particular is interesting. The bowls are made with the assistance of a large matching. Great quality control. There's a really large seating area as well. Parking: This can get a little busy but there's a few parking options and none of them require street parking :) read more

I'm a Sweetgreen regular, but this was my first visit to this location. The first thing I noticed was how spacious, clean, and organized it is. I also noticed that there's no line where you can order your bowl like other nearby Sweetgreen locations. At this location you order through a kiosk and then they call you to pick up your bowl. Service is very fast. I didn't love that I couldn't order with a person because I like watching my bowl being made but not a big deal overall. When I actually got my bowl I was absolutely satisfied because it was tossed to perfection. I feel like this was the biggest portion I had ever gotten from a Sweetgreen before and the ingredients tasted fresher and better. I get Shroomami 90% of the time as it's my favorite salad so I can really taste the minute differences hahaha I've been with this salad since it included beets, sunflower seeds, etc. Wish they would bring back the beets! Be warned that parking and driving in this area is hellish. My friends said I was being dramatic but I genuinely prefer driving and parking in SF over this. If you've never been before, do yourself a favor and head straight to the parking garage. I went on a random Thursday afternoon and parking was packed as if I was there on a Saturday! read more

Very efficient for catering service. By 11am, our breakroom was neatly stacked with almost 100 bowls. We had chicken crispy rice bowl, chicken pesto parm bowl, chicken avocado ranch bowl, and tofu shroomami bowl. They are all loaded with healthy ingredients. I chose the tofu shroomami bowl and the mushroom was flavorful and soft. The tofu tasted like chicken cubes. Their website has the detailed ingredients for each menu item and the nutrition values. For the left overs, I took it home and stir fry it with a can of spam, umami! read more

I miss the former Tender Greens I used to frequent at this location. But after my recent visit to Sweetgreen, I'm convinced that this is a worthy replacement. I ordered online in advance (taking advantage of their rewards program). When I came to pick up my order, the restaurant looked clean and new, and service was friendly and attentive. I customized a salad with chopped romaine, blackened chicken, tomatoes, crispy onions, spicy broccoli, parmesan crisps, hard boiled egg, and warm portobello mix. The mushrooms were a bit salty, but otherwise everything was quite tasty, a nice combination of textures and flavors. I'm especially a fan of the pesto vinaigrette dressing they serve here. I ordered rosemary focaccia on the side, but when I arrived at the restaurant, the staff apologetically informed me that they were out and allowed me to select any other side item/drink to replace it. I opted for the chocolate-covered cashew and vanilla bean hunks. These treats weren't bad, but I would have preferred the focaccia as it's one of the main reasons I come to Sweetgreen. read more

This place came recommended from a friend, and it was a great lunch. You order through a kiosk at the counter and lots of healthy salads and bowl options. The restaurant feels clean and modern. I got the fish taco bowl and it was great. There was not enough dressing for my taste but they game some more without any extra charge. I felt like it was clean eating and a good healthy option! read more

Yeah.... don't get the fries. Let's stick to the bowls and salads at Sweetgreen. This location is clean and has many kiosks to order from. Parking is plentiful. I got the Tamari Chicken Salad, which had fresh kale, cherry tomatoes, and apples! It was well-made, especially with the KBBQ glaze. Chicken was okay and under-seasoned... but otherwise, a decent salad! Very filling. read more

I like the design of this Sweetgreen, it's minimalist with earthy wood tones, very Silicon Valley. It was my first time trying their salmon bowl and I loved it. It had all my favorite things, miso salmon, cucumber, avocado, pickled onion. The crunchy element hit just right and tahini dressing was perfect. My only quibble with this was the portion felt small. Like I was still hungry when I finished it. Sweetgreen is a cool brand. I wish they'd open one in Santa Cruz! read more

Being an absolute lover of salads, I just knew I had to give Sweetgreen a try! The main objective of this business is to connect people through food & "reimagine fast food". Ingredients are locally sourced, food is cooked from scratch, & Sweetgreen continually works at doing more for the environment by taking less from it. Win, right?? The menu offers salads, bowls, & protein plates. For those who enjoy self-customizations, there is that option for you as well. Purchase: SHROOMAMI- tofu, portobello mushrooms, cucumbers, basil, cabbage, almonds, wild rice, kale, & miso sesame ginger dressing My food was made extremely quickly. Don't be too alarmed by the salad looking and feeling a bit skimpy, the amount of kale provided was quite generous. The ingredients were fresh, the protein was plentiful, & the meal in itself was so very clean|light. 4 stars overall because the amount of dressing did not coat the leafy abundance. The salad was good but I honestly struggled with eating due to the flavorless greens. The tofu made the dish even more bland and it's only saving grace was the portobello mix. I'll have to be sure and request for additional dressing the next time I come. read more

When I went to this Sweetgreen, I had chosen it just because it was close by. I hadn't realized that it was unique in that it was mostly automated. I ordered my normal Harvest Bowl on a kiosk, and noticed their giant conveyor belt salad machine kick in to gear. I was a bit worried that it was going to turn out sub par, but luckily I was wrong. If I hadn't seen it for myself, I would have assumed it was made by a person, like any other salad bowl from Sweetgreen. The inside of the restaurant was nice, and the small crew was friendly when handing off my order. The salad was even more thoroughly mixed than some of the salads I've gotten at other Sweetgreen locations. My only complaint is that there were clumps of goat cheese that wasn't mixed well. That said, I've VERY rarely had a person do a better job in that regard, unfortunately. TLDR: Salad vending machine robot things can make good salads. read more

Genuinely might be the cleanest restaurant I've ever been to, like, could've performed open heart surgery on the counters clean.

Walked by and noticed the doors open. They are in the soft-opening process right now and only offering bowls and salads. The workers were very friendly and helpful. You order on an I-pad, which is nice, but they are a little too close to each other and makes for a tight space. We got 2 salads and a bowl. I ordered guacamole greens without the chicken and got sweet potatoes. The lime vinaigrette is very tasty! My partner got a miso salmon and kale Caesar. He appreciated the flavorful salmon and portion size of the chicken. Overall, the ingredients were very fresh. The inside is very clean with wood tones. The seating is a little limited though. read more

So I really want to love Sweet Green, i eat less processed sugar and no fried, but to have a consistent experience really comes down if their training/management/employees are on the same page and check for things. It is difficult to find food that is that unprocessed and generally good for you that cleverly tastes good. Just check your bread, mold is not a bad thing, unprocessed food mold quickly. Just make sure you check. Also each location is different - Berkeley only gives 2 dressings on the side, no bread (they build your item like chipotle) - they also chop the basil. Santa Clara has kiosk ordering only and basil is on stem whole pieces. read more

Came here for the grand opening and I have to say it was the most organized opening I've ever attended. You had to pre-register on Eventbrite for a specific time slot for a QR code. I got the Caramelized Garlic Steak bowl and it was a great mix of flavors but the beef was a bit over done and not Garlicy. They officially open Tuesday June 10 This is the first fully automated shop I've been to and it's so efficient. You order on one of the 6 tablets and the order is made by a robot. Came here for the first time and ordered a Harvest bowl with additions/customizations. Super delicious. I liked the sweet potatoes. Could've been mixed better because there was a lot of lettuce on the bottom. My biggest gripe is with the kiosk. When you add additional toppings to your order, it's $0.70 each, but it's not itemized. It doesn't list it out on your order. You just see the total price increasing. I also did not see any option for a receipt. In my order, I asked for 1 qty citrus vinaigrette and 2 qty pesto vinaigrette on the side. Somehow the kitchen received instructions to mix it into the bowl. On top of that, they were instructed to make it "light", meaning that they would add a light drizzle of dressing into my salad. When I picked up my order, I told the workers that I asked for the dressing on the side and they said that I asked for the dressing to be mixed in. They didn't attempt to resolve the issue or give me additional dressing. I'm not sure what happened with my order and would need to come back and try ordering on the kiosk again, but this plaza has way too many people during a weekday lunch and it's inconvenient for me to do that. read more

Came here for dinner and it was good. Got the miso salmon but there was no miso taste to it whatsoever and the salmon was a tad overcooked. Got the balsamic vinaigrette, spicy cashew and the ginger dressing and it was good with my meal. BF got the chicken and he enjoyed it with the honey mustard and ginger dressing and the chicken was moist. He just wanted more of the peaches. Unfortunately the avocado on both were both starting to go bad. As far as drinks we got the strawberry mint and lemonade and both were good. I have yet to go to this location til now. I am glad they made one close to my work. They have lots of yummy options to choose from. I opted to create my own. It was so yummy. I noticed instead of it showing at a window all the agreements, it is managed by a conveyor line system that fills the bowls. I thought that was neat. They had a nice to go pickup area. The place was nice, quiet and clean. I'm definitely going back now that it's near me. And to top it off, I enjoyed my food! read more

I'm generally a fan of sweet green however my common complaints(for other locations) are higher cost, longer wait times, cold food, and minimal portions. Nonetheless i like the chain and get their food relatively often. Since I work nearby, I tried this location and I was not disappointed. Here's what I enjoyed: - clean, new location conveniently in Santa Clara square. - super warm food! - iPads to order from to minimize wait times(when I went there was no line) - portions were very reasonable! - cost obviously will remain the same but with the above concerns addressed, the higher cost is worth. All the regular pros of sweet green were there as well. Great customer service, great, clean tasting food. I will certainly regular this place for lunch! read more

Location is still kinda new, but service was excellent, very chill atmosphere. The process is pretty automated with their "infinity kitchen" machine, which is pretty cool, compared to the usual sweet green experience. I went during an off-time, so had no trouble finding parking and getting my order in. They had around five tablets you can order from, in addition to the usual register. The decor and placement of the store is fresh and looks pretty clean, looked like plenty of seating indoor and outdoor. I got the cucumber kimchi crunch salad, which was so filling and good, loved the flavors! I'd recommend at least one visit to this location, just for the novelty of the automated machine and the freshness of the interior. read more

I wish I had pictures to show I beat myself up for not having proof but I paid for extra beef in my Carmelized garlic steak bowl and when I got my order I had roughly less than 4oz of steak. I frequently get a salad at sweetgreen and my favorites is the Chicken Avocado Ranch. I find the quality of the food high and have newer had any problem with the food quality. It's quick, it's consistent and you can choose whatever combination you want. Ambiance in the restaurant is good and I like that the kitchen is completely visible. I made my first 2 orders last Sunday recommended by my kid. But I felt littler disappointed because the salad green was not as fresh as I expected. Cacophony! That is the one word I'd use to describe my experience at this location at 3:45pm. The music is pretty loud by default in this location making conversations difficult especially as the location is surrounded by offices and one would like to have a conversation with colleagues.
