parked in the parking lot across the street and walked over honestly had high expectations because of the high prices here. the vibes were giving elevated luxury vibes and the lightning is dimmed. the food was good and spicy but it wasn't anything worth raving about. nothing wowed me tbh the service was very attentive tho and took our dirty plates every time. also appreciate that our waiter asked if we have any allergies !! mumbai dabeli croquette - potato balls with spice inside. VERY spicy! REINVENTED PANEER LABABDAR - love the touch of beets FITOOR BUTTER CHICKEN - not as thick and slightly sweeter than savory RAJASTHANI KADHI RISOTTO - bland

They take inKind points, so that was a plus. We got $25 off with an inKind bonus that day. Ambiance is great as its Santana Row, we ate outside. Lovely. The garlic naan was crunchy and also soft, tasty. The lamb was not the greatest and smaller portion, not enough seasoning for what we wanted. The butter chicken was really good and portion size was good. It is a pricey establishment, but they took inKind points, so we would def go back.

I recently tried the butter chicken and kofta here. The ambiance is definitely a highlight, the interior is beautifully done and creates a really nice dining experience. That said, the food didn't quite live up to expectations, especially for the price. The butter chicken leaned heavily on the cashew flavor, which overpowered the dish, and it was also on the saltier side. The kofta was decent. For the price point, I was expecting more balanced flavors and a better overall taste. Great atmosphere, but the food could use some improvement.

Service is great. Ambience is calm Food is the best. Dahi kabab was so soft, so delicious, too good. The gulati, was the bestest I ever had, it melts like butter. Im a vegetarian, the option are too many to choose from Ill be back. Don't miss the gin and tonic drink. Bitters, might surprise you. You can always ask to skip. Cocktails are great too. Service is with a smile, courtesy and

Fitoor is tucked away on Olsen Ave and could easily be missed as it's not in the populated area of Santana Row. It's directly across from Mendocino Farms and a few doors down from Peet's and Zazil Cocina. The decor inside is a vibe. I love the wood slat ceiling design the most. Modern yet warm. Overall, 4.5 stars rounded to 5 stars for food and ambiance. I made reservations for a table for 4 for dinner on New Year's Day. Upon arrival, the hostess was assisting a party ahead of us and quickly tended to us, seating us shortly after. Our waitress was friendly and attentive during our visit. However, a bit more enthusiasm about the restaurant and menu would have made the experience even better. The food and drinks were delicious! We did family style and it was nice to try different plates with my party. - Strawberry Cloud mocktail - Holy Mole cocktail - Lavendar Lush cocktail - Mango Bite mocktail - Mumbai Dabeli Croquette - Malabar Paratha Quesadilla - Malvani Crab Cake & Garlic Prawns - Fitoor Butter Chicken - Chicken Dum Biryani - Four Cheese Naan - Garlic Naan My only feedback about one of the plates concerns the Crab Cake and Garlic Prawns. It featured a medium crab cake topped with tiny prawns. The sauce ratio was unbalanced, with too much. While I understand it could be eaten with side naan or rice, I would have preferred another crab cake or a larger one. Aside from that, my friends and I truly enjoyed our meal, and I'll definitely be returning!

We had such a wonderful experience celebrating our son's birthday at Fitoor. The service and food were absolutely phenomenal. The team truly went above and beyond to make the evening extra special and memorable for our family. A special thank you to our server, Sahil, who was incredibly attentive and made sure everything was perfect throughout the night. His kindness and attention to detail really stood out. It was so thoughtful of the entire team to help celebrate Gurbaaz--he truly appreciated it, and it meant a lot to us as parents. Thank you again to everyone in the photo for making the night so sweet and memorable. Highly recommend, and we look forward to coming back!

What a wonderful dinner! The ambiance is dim but cozy, perfect date night location. Flavors are very good. We had the butter chicken, raita, dal, garlic nan, and a special valentines drink called the love potion. Be sure to get a rezzie here on busy weekends!

The restaurant is beautifully decorated and has a great overall vibe. Even though we were seated outside facing the sidewalk, it still felt like a really enjoyable atmosphere. We were seated fairly quickly for a busy weekday night, which was a great start. Service was a bit slower to begin, and because of where we were sitting, there were a few moments where servers bumped into our chairs while moving through the space. It wasn't ideal, but it didn't take away too much from the experience. The food and drinks were absolutely amazing and more than made up for the minor inconveniences. Everything was fresh, flavorful, and thoughtfully prepared. I would definitely recommend making a reservation and giving this place a try.

Ridiculous bad Indian food at crazy prices. The worst dabeli, dahi kebab you can have. Bland and tasteless. Paid 120 for 2 starters, 1 curry and 2 naan. The atmosphere is crazy dark. They don't even carry saunf. There is no fusion food here. Just below average Indian food. And they charge you auto gratuity even if 1 person dines, but don't tell you about it ahead of time as they are required to do by law.

we always go to this place while our visit to Santana Row. We had multiple dishes, including the biryani, chicken lollipop, and their Tandori roti with butter. Oh my God it is something to repeat over and over.. management is such a wonderful in the welcome you with warm hospitality! Will be going there again

I was very excited to try this restaurant; the food looked amazing, the restaurant looked beautiful, and it even came with entertainment. So there were some high expectations. Made reservations; we were greeted and seated. The staff was kind and pleasant. We asked about the fan favorites, ordered a few appetizers and small bites, and then moved on to ordering our main. I'm a fan of Indian food, and I've tried a few places in the past. Fitoor was good, but unfortunately, it wasn't my favorite. That doesn't mean the food wasn't beautifully plated or that we didn't finish it, because God knows we will eat it before we leave it, haha. I'm glad we tried it. The restaurant was beautiful. The entertainment was fun. The bathrooms were probably the cleanest and most beautiful I've seen. Overall, it's worth checking out for the experience.

*3.5 STARS* This restaurant was so 50/50 on dishes I am actually averaging the rating to the middle since it's on both extremes. Food The Potato Papdi - 5/5 stars. This was the first time my girlfriend and I tried such an appetizer and really enjoyed the flavors and textures. The slices of mangos gave a sweet flavoring while the crackers lended a good crunch to the dish. The Prawn and Fish Curry - 1/5 stars but also 5/5 If this dish only had the fish, I would rate it a 5/5. The fish was very nicely cooked, tender, and had a great flavor with the curry that had a very good spice kick. For those who don't like spice, I would avoid. However the dish also had shrimp and it was some of the most fishy/ocean-y tasting shrimp I've ever had. Texture wise, the shrimp was well cooked but I just could not quite explain why the shrimp did not taste well to me, it was like taking a bite out of the ocean and not in a good way. Mango bite 12 mocktail.... 3/5?? Again, my mind was just torn because on initial taste the mango flavor was nice and pleasant but there was some type of acidic aftertaste. Not sure exactly what ingredient was causing it but maybe they were trying to replicate the slight burn of alcohol? The venue - 5/5. High end and nicely decorated. They had a roaming belly dancer which I thought was funny atmospheric. service 3/5. Nothing special, nothing bad

I think traditionally, you need reservations for Cielo, but their Winter Experience (ran through December and mid-January) is first-come, first-served. The Winter Experience is a Christmas-themed set-up - very tastefully and beautifully decorated - with Christmas music (even 2 weeks after the New Year). the tables along the edge have small in-table fire pits AND a tall heated furnace - you will not be cold in December. these tables do require a minimum spend of $50 per person, which we came into this expecting that regardless - however, it sounds like you can sit at any of the other tables without this minimum spend, though you will only have a blanket for warmth. the sunset was beautiful, though keep in mind that we do live in a city, and there are other tall buildings around, so don't set your expectations too high. Overall, we are so happy we finally checked this place out, and that we were able to do so during the Winter Experience. We did find it overpriced (considering it's at Hotel Valencia... we weren't surprised) for what you get. I tried one cocktail (~$20) that tasted like a flavored soda, before switching to wine; my husband had 2 Old Fashioned, they were both made differently but both good. The food was good - small, shareable portions. We're happy to have finally stopped in, but I wouldn't go out of my way to come again. I always ordered the chicken dish, so when it came out this time, I was genuinely confused. The menu describes it as having a garlicky yogurt sauce, but there was none. I even checked their website afterward, and the dish I received looked nothing like the one advertised. I also looked through recent reviews and photos from other customers, and even those dishes looked very different from what we were served. If the recipe or sauce changed, I really think customers should be informed. When I asked the waitress, she explained that it now comes with a zhoug sauce instead, but that isn't mentioned anywhere on the menu. Oddly enough, the same sauce was also used on the Dorada fish dish. We also used to love the lamb, but they changed that dish too by removing the sauce and couscous base. I'm not sure why the changes were made, but it's just not the same anymore. Overall, it was really disappointing, especially since we chose to spend Mother's Day here. The food quality has definitely gone downhill. On top of that, the restaurant seemed extremely understaffed -- there appeared to be only about three servers working the entire floor all night. The ambiance was still decent, but the overall experience just didn't feel like the Meso we used to love. Unfortunately, I can't recommend this place anymore.
