Got the bogo deal on yelp for their wraps. They were huge but they were also 30 bux making it $15 per wrap... With the bogo it's about 8 bux per wrap which makes it super worth it. Food was tasty I enjoyed both wraps. The wrap is made of pretty thick naan tho so it's fairly heavy/carby. Overall, enjoyed the food and will try their other items. They seemed to have a few dishes I haven't seen elsewhere so looking forward to trying those! read more

Its a new Indian restaurant. I terrors are small with about 6 tables and wait times are long. But the food all looks freshly made and tasty. I did an online pickup order and it took a really long time to get. The kitchen is very small and I think 3-4 people working. They seemed a bit confused with online orders and were just concentrating on in house food. Nevertheless, got my Kashmir biryani with nuts ultimately (45 mins after we reached there). It was very mild and different. There weren't any veggies in it. Just paneer, saffron rice and few nuts. Not what I expected or would order again but definitely want to check out their other items soon. read more

They have good deals on it maybe coz the place is relatively new. Reason for my low rating is because what we primarily got was rice and paneer. Didnt taste like any biryani or pulav I've had. We ate here for lunch and the portion size was right on par for the price. The food was very tasty and flavorful. We ordered the classics: naan, aloo gobi, saag paneer, and chicken tikka masala. The masala was the star of the show. It was perfectly seasoned, creamy, and nice chunks of chicken that were not dry. It was our favorite dish. The service was very friendly and the establishment was clean. Even the bathroom was very clean and well stocked which is an A+ in my book. It is a cozy restaurant and felt very calm in there. I completely agree with Kartik's review. This was, without question, one of the worst restaurant experiences I've ever had. The food was bland, disappointing, and nowhere near the quality I expected. It certainly wasn't worth the money. What made the experience even worse was discovering that the prices on the menu did not match what I was charged. The menu listed lower prices, yet my receipt shows I was charged more before tax. That feels misleading and is completely unacceptable. Customers should be able to trust that they'll pay the prices advertised. Between the poor-quality food, the inaccurate pricing, and the overall disappointing experience, I left feeling ripped off. I will never return, and I would strongly encourage others to spend their money elsewhere. There are far better Indian restaurants in the Bay Area that serve authentic, flavorful food and charge exactly what they advertise. The serve ware is homely style, the tables and chairs are full sized and comfortable. But the space they have is tiny, I m surprised they were able to squeeze around 8 tables into that space. The place looks like an office room or storage room converted to a restaurant. Not sure if it's the recent renovation or some chemical use for cleaning but the smell as soon as one enters is very strong. It took some getting used to. **FOOD: the restaurant looks like a venture of a passionate home cook. Someone who likes to put his own twist on things. The menu is huge covering a wide range of North Indian dishes both vegetarian and non vegetarian along with a handful of indo Chinese dishes. We got an array of dishes and the common theme across the board was the use of coarse ground coriander seeds. *samosa chaat-4/5- this was literal fire, very spicy though we requested for medium. I think it was the green chutney they used. Anyway, the samosas seemed freshly fried and were steaming when split open. The chole was spicy. *chole kulche-4/5- same chole from the earlier dish. The kulche looked elaborate and had the erstwhile mentioned coarse ground coriander. *vegetable fried rice-4/5- this was under their indo Chinese menu. To my surprise it came with cumin seeds and cauliflower florets. Never in my life have I had these two ingredients in an indo Chinese fried rice but whatever it was, it was delicious. I enjoyed the dish. *kadai chicken-4/5- you know how it is with home cooks who try to put their own little unique twist across dishes even though the dish originally doesn't have it? Every dish we ordered was like that. This chicken dish was not oily but had a good thick gravy. My wife is a vegan and it is hard to find places that are clear about what is vegan and what is not. At Lazeez India, the Chef came out to clarify the menu and reassure us of the many options available. The food was medium spicy as we ordered it and it was all fabulous and non-greasy. The portions sizes were generous and the prices were reasonable. The service was also top notch - attentive without being over the top. Clearly a family owned business that DESERVES our business. This small restaurant just opened 2 months ago and is a sparking Gem hidden in a residential neighborhood. My husband and I ordered: small rice, Plain Naan, Sag Paneer and Butter Chicken. Everything came to the table piping hot and the food was wonderful--not greasy, or spicy. The lady serving the food managed the entire area and it was busy with seated customers and to go. TRY THIS. The owner (who was also our server) came out to greet us and answered all the questions we (a white guy and a Filipina) had. We know a bit about Indian food but he have us a good lesson in the difference between palak and saag. Then he talked up a couple of dishes we'd never had, we tried them and they were delicious. I've never had Kulcha but ordered it based upon another reviewer's pic. IT WAS SO GOOD. My very picky friend liked the butter chicken, I loved the palak paneer, I've never had such vibrant green palak paneer. Texture was so smooth, food stayed hot for a long time and the chickpeas dish (forgot the name sorry) was so good too and it's not usually a dish I have much of an opinion on. The pickles were nice too, rice was well seasoned. I think this is the best Indian food I've had in a long time, even compared to Cerritos! Get the Kulcha! I generally order some standard dishes (goat curry, chicken karahi, daal, aloo gobi, roti) when checking out a new restaurant, and their food was excellent. Went for lunch after reading that it was family owned and reviewed well. The location is nondescript but we found street parking right in front of the restaurant. Ordered an achari paneer tikka, mooli paratha and paneer kulcha with chole. Every item was excellent. Freshly made and elegantly served. The paneer tikka was served sizzler style and that made such a difference. The kulcha and paratha were tasty and the chole hit the spot too. I ordered Zabiha Halal Chicken Biryani from Lazeez India (1989 Bellomy St, Santa Clara) through Uber Eats. Unfortunately, the driver didn't deliver my order, and I had to spend over 45 minutes with customer service trying to resolve it. But what happened next truly touched my heart. The restaurant owner "Harry" personally dropped off the food at my location when he learned I was fasting. Such kindness is rare, I made so much du'aa for him. The Chicken Biryani was delicious, and they kindly made it mild as per my request since I cannot handle too much spice while fasting. Highly recommended.
