The coco cloud mocktail with wine
    Ally W.

Just tried this place out with friends! Very aesthetically pleasing restaurant. We had the white butter chicken with garlic naan and the paneer trio. I got a mocktail, the coco cloud and it was good! Would come here again to try other dishes. Friendly and good service, too.

We had a reservation for lunch. Got immediately seated. Entire staff greeted us very nicely. The drinks menu had a wide variety of both cocktails and mocktails. We ordered only vegetarian dishes and everything turned out really good. They have a good amount of items for Kids too. For dessert we went with Vegan Chocolate Mousse. It was absolute best. Overall loved this place and would go back again for sure. Apart from food, its ambiance, staff and decor is top tier.

we had visited the sister locations and had our eyes on this one for a while. Had a chance to visit for a birthday celebration in the family. The place was crowded but we were seated writhing five minutes without any reservations. The staff paid attention to what we wanted and brought food for our hangry toddler within minutes. Subdued ambiance but ample of space with wide back sofas. It definitely has a contemporary vibe. For starters we got fire grilled chicken, rava branzino fish, kala Maa's tacos and Dani k kebab. Table voted Kaaba number 1. Fish and chicken were also flavorful. Definitely recommend those. We ordered cocktails and liked the take on Mai tai with mango. In the mains we ordered white butter chicken and took me to childhood memories of malai kofta. Shrimp curry was not as flavorful as other dishes but wouldn't mind to order it. The chur chur naan was not a great choice. Buttered roti was the most favorite. We ended it with rose kulfi; no wonder people visit this place for it. We got a tiny pastry of gulbjamun cake and most of us liked it. Definitely on the list to visit again. There is parking lot right next to it and we found one pretty easily.

Great ambiance and quality food, loved the experience! Private parking lot beside the restaurant. Amal provided excellent service throughout our visit, he was super friendly and communicative. Our top favorites: Muhammara Dahi Kebab, Mushroom Galauti and Andhra Chili Chicken. Gol Gappa Trio, Shisho Chat were okayish. For dessert, recommend the Chocolate Biscoff. The Rose Kulfi live show was fun. Overall, enjoyed the dining experience and hope to return soon :)

Tried this on a weekday lunch and it was just perfect :) loved the friendly service, clean cutlery and premises, delicious and well presented food and beautiful ambience! 5/5 Loved how the menu had all allergens clearly labeled and the tables were perfectly spaced out and not too close or crowded. They have lots of indoor seating and a nice photo arch as well :) In $55 (before tip), we got: - 2 cutting chai - hidden menu - 5/5 which was perfect for our cloudy rainy day outing - paneer trilogy $19 - 4/5 - juicy and big 3 paneer cubes in different marinations served with side arugula onion salad and delectable green chutney sauce - fire roasted chicken small plate - 5/5 - 4 perfectly char grilled tandoori chicken pieces which were boneless and yummy. Too good!! For $14, this was a steal :) - bullet naan - 5/5 - spicy green chillis and soft and tender naan was the perfect bread for me - garlic naan - 4/5 - decent and not bad at all Definitely coming back for more and i have a feeling i am going to be a regular here now :) loved it!! I am already dreaming about trying their nitrogen kulfi next time.. Clean lavish restrooms and no outdoor seating.

Really enjoyed the overall experience. The food tasted great, especially the paneer, it was fresh, soft, and perfectly cooked. The ambience added to the experience, and the service was good too. Portions were generous, which was a plus. My only suggestion would be to expand the lunch menu with a bit more variety. Though a lot of people around opted for the kulfi experience, I thought it was a bit overpriced.

I attended a private function at this location and they had finger food and drinks. Very well organized with healthy bites - the servers were walking around with the bite size appetizers and drinks. The chai and filter coffee were kept in the corner for self service. The ambiance of this place gets a 5 on 5! I want to come back for eating a meal and trying their food and drinks. Loved the decor and enjoyed the appetizers.

New restaurant! Did a walk-in and was able to sit at the bar with my friend. Had a great experience, got to talk to the owner and bartenders and everyone was so sweet. They just opened 2 months ago but it looked busy; make a reservation! Best part was the dessert: rose kulfi. They make the ice cream in front of you with liquid nitrogen and you get to crush the freeze dried rose yourself. Very unique experience. I enjoyed all the dishes we ordered. Vegetarian Kofta came with a delicious spicy sauce. Usually I don't like ordering bone marrow, but The Beef Bone Marrow Nalli Nihari came with beef shank on the side so it felt more worth it. We paired the main dishes with Onion Kulcha. For drinks, we enjoyed both the Amrit Glow and Vrindavan Bloom. Vrindavan Bloom is a safe bet if you want something sweet and fruity. Amrit glow's tequila base is pretty strong but the mango foam on top is really good!

My husband and I enjoyed a pleasant evening at Jashn. What I loved most was the ambiance. Soft lighting, good acoustics, not loud, comfortable booth, nice artistic touches. It's a place you can go after work and truly unwind. The tables were full of Silicon Valley tech types and everyone looked relaxed and happy. The food is good. Crowd pleasing Indian food with a few flourishes. Palak paneer and dal makhni were deeply flavored bangers. We enjoyed the basket of different types of naan and paratha. None of it was as good and fresh as what we had in India, but it's close. Desserts are quite theatrical, which brings a fun element. The service was excellent and we really appreciated all the warmth of the staff.

We went to Jashn for our anniversary dinner, and were overall very happy and satisfied with the place, everyone was warm and welcoming - including the other guests who were dining there that night. Drinks were really good, food and service were great. The special live rose kulfi experience was awesome - given the special occasion. Overall, a nice place!

I was hesitant to try Jashn's elevated Indian cuisine, but the experience was a pleasant surprise. I'm usually skeptical of modern or contemporary Indian restaurants since they often dilute flavors or rely too heavily on Western-style presentation, but Jashn largely avoids those pitfalls. While you pay a premium for ambiance and plating, most dishes were well executed and did not take shortcuts on spice depth. It's a good choice for special occasions, date nights, and business dinners, and better in my opinion to similar concepts like Jaks or The Yellow Chilli. The Goat Chops arrived with an impressive flambé presentation and were the group's favorite. The masala used in the braise had layered depth and properly slow cooked. I'll note though that it was on the salty side, so I'd ask for the naan or rice to be served with it. The Laal Maas tacos had great flavor, but the thepla shells kept breaking apart. I suggest increasing dough hydration, fat, and starch content, along with longer kneading and resting. A small amount of vital wheat gluent would give the thepla the strength and slight chew needed for this dish. The Andhra-style Chilli Chicken had the right idea but would benefit from a bolder, more assertive seasoning profile since I found it on the blander side. The har gao dumplings, though beautifully pleated, were expensive even by Chinese upscale standards and lacked the plumpness expected of good dim sum. Larger pieces of prawn or chicken-leg mixed in with the finely grounded meat, and a small amount of starch would give them the characteristic bouncy texture I'm looking for in good har gow. The chili oil and soy accompaniments were well executed. The Karnataka-style biryani was one of my personal favorites since it was distinct from the Hyderabadi style most Americans are familiar with. Its shorter rice grains and green masala base gave the dish a fresh and aromatic contrast. The Beef Nihari had solid depth of flavor, with long-cooked spices shining through, though the addition of bone marrow didn't significantly enhance the traditional nihari gravy. The Home-Style Chicken Curry was as the description suggested comforting and nostalgic. It had very straightforward flavors that reminded me of the homemade chicken curry my neighbors would give me when I was younger. The only miss was the White Butter Chicken, which tasted like jarred alfredo sauce to me. The kasuri methi aroma was faint, possibly due to the methi not being adequately bloomed in ghee. I thought it was because I ate with with a lot of other strong flavors that night, but the dish was still bland and alfredo-like when I ate it alone for leftovers the next day. Across the full menu, I really appreciate the consistently tender and juicy meat. This was a nice contrast from so many other local restaurants that serve the overcooked dry, mushy, or stringy meats. Beverages were flavorful but leaned sweet. I'd urge the staff to be more attentive in distinguishing alcoholic from non-alcoholic drinks to avoid accidentally giving the wrong drink to pregnant or nursing guests. The Rose Kulfi dessert was memorable. It was served with an engaging tableside liquid-nitrogen presentation and was not too sweet unlike kulfis at other places. Service was on the slower side, which is understandable for a new restaurant, but the staff remained attentive and checked in regularly. None of the dishes were exceptional enough to justify ordering delivery at these prices, but were all solid for dine in. Despite a few early-stage recipe and execution issues, Jashn has promise and is worth visiting for special occasions. With some refinement, it has the potential to become a strong modern Indian option in the area.

The cocktail menu is inspired by records, and you can feel the creativity in every sip. These aren't your standard bar pours -- they're clearly thought out and crafted with personality. If you're someone who appreciates a drink with a story behind it, you'll be in your element here. The live DJ on weekends takes the whole experience to another level. The music isn't background noise -- it's part of the atmosphere, and it hits right. What makes this place truly special is that you're getting two completely different vibes under one roof. Walk into Still OG up front and you get a casual, laid-back energy -- easy conversation, good company, no pretension. Then slip into the speakeasy in the back and the whole mood shifts. Alter Ego is a proper intimate lounge with their full bar, and it feels like a world away from the street outside. The transition between the two spaces is surprisingly seamless and genuinely fun to experience. And they're open late, which puts them in a rare category of places actually worth staying out for. Not my personal cup of tea, but they do also offer sake and a few beers also. The first time we went, we ordered the arancini, bucatini, and the heritage pork katsu. I am a big advocate for trying new things every time I go to a restaurant, but it was so good I ordered the same thing the second time I went. Arancini is flavored with Japanese curry with creamy fontina in the center topped off with kimchi mayo. Holy f. These quite literally put the traditional Italian ones to shame (sorry not sorry). Next was the bucatini. It had tom yum butter, lime, basil- all the fix ins of what you want from tom yum flavors with the luxuriousness added from the butter. It was sinful. Last and certainly not least, is the pork katsu. I cannot even remember the last time I ordered a pork katsu, but something told me to order it. Thank God I did, as it quite literally changed my life. If they ever take it off the menu I am not sure I would be OK. It is crispy and is swimming in this koji butter, but the key is that it is NOT greasy. I quite literally think about it all the time. To the point where I had it twice in a week. Service was great, bartenders are so friendly. The place is cute and vibrant. Keep in mind it is small- limited seating inside and a small patio outside. But so worth the wait. First the knock, and to be fair, it's probably just an opinion / idea. Given the birth of natural wine and the South Bay, it would be wonderful to see a curated selection of tasting flights, no more than two or three options with anywhere from 3 to 6 wine wines each, priced accordingly. Maintaining a proper wine menu when all you do is natural wine can certainly be a challenge. If you wine flights depending on what you have would certainly elevate the customer experience by educating more people natural wine and helping them make better choices when it comes to a bottle purchase. I paid $61 for a bottle that was recommended, and at that price point I wonder how many people who are new to natural wine might be turned off. Chris was a wonderful host and certainly the right person to engage with customers around their various wines. Given how small the space is and how busy it can get, a weekly tasting flight menu might be a good way to engage those customers who are waiting to order at the bar and perhaps even spark a more productive conversation with Chris. We ordered the peach and ricotta dish with Thai basil... wow, a wonderful surprise. Peaches are always battling in and out of the top spot on my summer fruit list and this combination was downright dirty and delicious! We also ordered the raw oysters with watermelon mignonette. Another wow! I didn't expect the little spice kick and it was a perfect pairing to the sweetness of the watermelon. If anyone knows the recipe let me know, I'd bottle that mignonette and take it with me wherever I have oysters!! Overall, a great experience and I most definitely look forward to going back!
