We went for Sunday brunch based on a couple of suggestions and are happy we did! The house made bananas foster syrup - holy smokes - 10/10. She crab soup was really good. The tuna tartare tacos were good - the tuna had a lot of marinade on them - which made them a little wet, but also gave great flavor. The grits were good too! We sat at the bar - easier since there were just two of us - rather than waiting for a table. The bartenders are on it. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The later it gets, the divier it gets - but I'm good with that![[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]

Very good service. Got the Steak House Burger and it was very good. Price was not bad compared to places nearby as well.

Delicious! Food came out very quickly and our service was excellent. They also have a super cool outdoor patio.

The decor beautiful, food amazing, owner awesome, waitress was rude. They where understaffed but so was many other places now due to people not wanting to work... but we tried holding a conversation with her and she had attitude the whole time. She never asked if we where okay and her over all sass when we asked question really did mess with the experience. If we where basing this visit on our waitress it would have been one star, but due to the owner killing with customer services and the food was amazing; making this restaurant in my opinion a 3. Now to a brighter note the crab cake was good nothing extraordinary or memorable but the rice was excellent and creamy with steamed veggies. The crab dip by far 100% makes this place, just wish we had a few more chips ended up having to eat with a spoon but still! We ate it before we got a pic... (sorry) Beast burger I got mine well done due to personal reason but the taste of the meat was well rounded and you could tell it was worth a try. And the season fries just like any.

Service was good, the staff was friendly. Variety of sauces you can try on everything. Food is good, but nothing amazing.

Dive bar vibe, but with a full kitchen. The staff is friendly and service was fast. The food was tasty, but nothing special. There were a million flies in the dining room, so it made it difficult to enjoy everything with the constant shooing.

Chilli peppers is fun! They had really good service. And parking is easy!! However I would not recommend the crab cake, it is a little dense.

The food is OK. But living at the beach you can get that a lot of places. Wasn't busy at all, but took a lot to get our servers attention.

I woke up...and had a delicious time! The reviews here tell you how great this place is, and well...believe them! I thought for sure it would be over-hyped and not live up to what people write and say, but I will admit to being wrong. First, our server, Krickett, was agreed upon (by my partner and I) to be the best server we have ever had. She was friendly, outgoing, had good recommendations, and an all-around joy. Second, the food! Wow! My partner had a salad...simple enough, right? But no, she was amazed by it. And she is a vegetarian, so she has had a lot of salads over the years. This one blew her away. I had the grilled chicken sandwich. Was it life-changing? No. But it was way better than what a grilled chicken sandwich normally is. It was tender, juicy, with just the right seasoning. I would be a criminal if I didn't mention the bruschetta...get it with the burrata...it is worth it! The crispy bread with balsamic drizzle is good enough with the diced tomato mix, but the cheese gives it a new level. And, I hope you saved room for dessert, because the key lime pie was a mouth explosion.

The restaurant has two distinct dining areas: the front section is first-come first-served bar seating that offers the full menu. The back section, which would be ideal for families, holds about 30 tables, mostly booths, with the hostess stand. We chose to sit at the bar and had a great experience. We started with bruschetta topped with burrata cheese. I ordered the angel hair pasta in a white garlic butter, cream sauce with marinated chicken and grilled vegetables. My husband ordered the special hamburger with Swiss cheese bacon, spinach and mayo with a side of fries. We ended with slices of the key lime pie that didn't disappoint! The food, service, staff and environment were exceptional! We overheard the Server mention that veterans receive complementary meals on Veterans Day, which speaks volumes about how this restaurant supports those who have served. If you are in the Outer Banks- whether you're staying in Kill Devil Hills or nearby- this restaurant is worth the drive and all the hype!

Our service was great. But the food, sub par. Soft drinks were "odd" for lack of better word. So I returned it for a beer cause, why not. Sweet tea was so sweet that we had to dilute it with water. We can handle that. The food would have been great, had they used ANY SEASONING at all. Everything tasted as tho the kitchen lost all S&P privileges. I had the prime rib w/ au jus. Meat was tender and onions cooked nicely. But it definitely didn't match the description which was something like "on a hoagie bun topped with garlic and butter." It was not. Which would have really helped carry the no seasoning deal. Au jus, had great potential, just no flavor. I ended up eating the meat alone and left the bread. Wife got the Reuben. Which was overall ok. Much more flavor than mine. But only bc of the sauerkraut. Oldest daughter got the BYO burger, with cheese and pickle. The burger was clearly a frozen patty from the store. As clearly defined by the shape of the patty. She ate half and the other half sits in the fridge as I type, from 2 nights ago. (I usually eat all the leftovers) I leave this review in hopes that the management and kitchen staff will start to properly season their food. Arts has great potential. But not without seasoning!
