We went to the Wright Brothers Memorial before heading here for lunch, and I gotta say this happened to be the PERFECT spot for after the Memorial. It is Wright Brothers themed (hence the 1903 name). It is so cool inside, and the service is amazing! The food was delicious, and we really loved our drinks (Margarita for me- exquisite! And my girl got a Bloody Mary that she loved and got a couple of). I highly recommend going!

We came here for dinner around 9pm as this was one of the few places that were opened with no wait. Food here was alright, my friends were content with their food but I had ordered the fish tacos flight and it was very disappointing. It says battered fish that's fried but what it tasted like was fish that was fried hours ago and just reheated in a microwave. Overall very disappointed in my meal.

Stopped in on a Saturday evening about 6pm. We seated ourselves at one of the bar areas next to the game room as we came to participate in the music bingo that night. One of the persons from the bar area came over immediately and took our drink order. When he returned he answered some questions ant took our order. Our food came out pretty quickly and everything was hot and tasty. We had...the pork belly egg rolls, wings with honey mustard sauce, a brisket melt minus the cheese, fries, and drinks. Everything was delicious. The only thing I would have changed food wise is I wish there had been more sauce or a side of sauce on the brisket sandwich. If I had liked cheese I'm sure it would have changed the flavor. I just added some from the sides of the wings. The game room was nice with plenty of room and all of the staff were friendly. Just a side note....if you set at the bar closest to the game room be careful as the bottom does a have some rough edges as the edge appears not to have been sanded when they poured the epoxy. Overall we enjoyed our meal and atmosphere. They were quite busy by the time we left but there seemed to be plenty of space for a lot of people.

The worst experience I've ever had at a bar. The male bartender was so rude and hostile we had to walk out. 0 stars is too generous!

The restaurant was running a bit lean with staff but our server was attentive and helpful. There's a lot on the menu to choose from -- we had the crab dip appetizer as well as the fish bites. There's a bar and lots of TVs. There's also a small area in the restaurant with a great t-shirt selection, stickers, and beanies. We have a list of OBX favorites we always come back to, and this one will go on the list.

Shipwreck's serves excellent shrimp that are large, fresh, plump, lightly battered, fried perfectly and salted just right. We again shared the order of calamari that is billed as an appetizer, but we split both plates, so it was part of our meal, and it all was plenty of food. They do a very good job on the fried food that we had and there is much more that tempted me. I don't think that the slaw was quite as good as what we had the previous time, but still a bug improvement over what it was a couple of years ago. Again, I don't know if this was a conscious change or if they are just very inconsistent. I'm pretty sure we will remain customers and I am increasing the rating because they do serve excellent seafood. The slaw cannot be the driver for the rating.
