Ordered me the fajitas trio, when I got it, the steak fajita is very tough, the chicken does not have enough char and flavor, and the shrimp are small. The guacamole was not prepared right, it was half of unruled and hard avocado that can't be scooped or sliced. Very disappointing. This gets a 2.5 stars. Paired this with strawberry margarita with salt on the rim. My lady got the ancho salmon and came slightly dry. We always get these from the other location in Murrieta and that place always delivers without any issues. This gets a 3.5 stars paired this with the berry margarita with sugar on the rim. Our drinks are OK, you can taste how artificial the strawberries and other berries are. Good alcohol added so this gets 4 stars. Our service is very good, I mentioned what's wrong with my dish and she took care of it right away. She earned her 18% tip. The place is pretty clean, not as busy for a Monday night football. The bar is semi packed. Pretty quiet and nice. Of course we didn't leave without our molten lava dessert to go. read more

I had to dock off a star for the inconsistent customer service. But we did come here yesterday for happy hour and our server, Rachel, was great!! She was very friendly, attentive, and helped us with the coupon I was trying to use from the app. I overheard her mention to the table next to us that they were understaffed, yet it didn't feel that way because she was bustin her butt off to make sure everyone was taken care of. Give Rachel a raise for being such a hard worker! The food was good and we enjoyed our presidente margaritas. I do think the hosts needed some additional training. They were having trouble putting us on the waitlist, didn't know what time HH was, and didn't know where the physical HH menu was. Also, the app sucks!! It said there wasn't a wait yet when we walked in we had to wait 10 min... Luckily we got free chips and salsa... but still, fix the dang app! read more

We just had dinner at Chilis. I ordered a steak meal, and my husband ordered their chicken bacon avocado sandwich. The service was wonderful, but our food was less than desired. My husband's bacon and half of his sandwich was burnt. My steak was supposed to be medium, but it was well done. The waitress had the manager come and talk with us and said it looked fine. Asked me what I wanted done, I said I'd eat the steak, but to bring my husband some new bacon, and he told us the bacon was fine. I asked him if that would be okay with him, and would he want to eat it, he said yes. He did bring my husband a new plate of bacon for his sandwich, but at this point our view of Chilis has completely changed. We've eaten here often, and not sure if we will ever be back. read more

Came here again. The young lady who assisted us had a name that I couldn't catch this time, but she was fantastic. This is a really great restaurant in terms of overall customer service and ambiance. Its not loud, chaotic or too quiet. The food is OK, but the chicken crispers that came with the kids meals are excellent. If you want fantastic food, you're going to have to go somewhere else. I've had so many great experiences at various Chilis that it's kind of difficult to only give this location three stars. It was a Saturday afternoon and we had one hour to kill before checking in to our Temecula hotel. A quick search of local businesses revealed there to be a Chili's nearby. I drove us on over and located the Chili's in your typical large shopping center parking lot. There was plenty of parking available so there's definitely no complaint there. I could see that they had set up outdoor dining using a canopy and wooden tables. The kicker is, these tables appeared to be quite old and somewhat similar to something you would have seen in school back in the 70s. As for the chairs, they were standard metal folding chairs. There were no table covers or any type of decor to spruce up the outdoor atmosphere. What's more interesting is the tables were not lined up correctly and came in various sizes. Now for our server and the food along with the drinks. Our server was nice, friendly and helpful. She took our order and brought what we requested. The food was warm and tasty and the drinks were cold. Our mixed drinks were served as expected for a Chiles. My three stars are for the service, the drinks and the food. -2 stars for the somewhat unpleasant atmosphere. read more

I don't think I've been to a Chili's since I was an undergraduate, but my old college roommate always loved their food and we were hanging out together, so I shouldn't have been surprised that she picked this place as our dinner destination ;-) Long story short - the food took quite a long time to arrive, but when it finally got to us it was very good, and the service was first-tier as well. Short story long - The steak was a really nice cut of meat, perfectly cooked, juicy and done exactly as request (medium-rare).  The baby-back ribs were falling off the bone tender and very nicely seasoned. Our server made sure that our water glasses never went empty, and kept refreshing our chips and salsa so we didn't starve waiting for the kitchen to finish cooking our food. Despite the unacceptably long time for our dinner to be cooked, the food and the service were MUCH better than I had expected; I'd probably even agree to come back ;-) read more

It's been a long time since I've had to leave a bad review. Wow. Izza the manager here is lethal. You feel like she is the ring leader of a mean girls club in some middle school movie. We asked if we could have more baskets of chips- so we wouldn't have to keep getting up to ask them to get refilled- and she turned her entire staff on us . I kid you not. There were stares- laughing- and when I approached Izza the manager she was irritated. We had three adults and two children in our party and were asked to wait 10 minutes for a table. There were tables available for our party size, but they kept passing us by. We came super hungry and tired from Legoland, I got off the car and asked for the wait time... the lady at the front told me 10 to 15 mins. I got my 3 kids and husband from the car and waited over 20 mins for a booth to be cleaned when there where other empty tables. She was about to sit the second party of 2 ahead of us when our wait list said we were the first ones in line. I asked again how much more approximately for our table of 5 and she said approximately 10 more minutes because the guy was taking forever to celan the booth. I've seen the commercial of the 3 for me $10.99 at Chili's, and wanted to try it. I was in Temecula and found this place on Ynez rd. We were greeted by the staff and felt welcome. Our server, Shyan was awesome. She gave good recommendations as to what is very good. I decided on the chicken sandwich, fries, a margarita, and chips/ salsa for appetizer. The food came out fast and hot. Shyan checked on us numerous amount of times to make sure we were okay. The chicken was fried to perfection. It had crispness on the outside and jucy tender meat inside it. The fries were good as well. I upgraded my drink to a margarita for $2.50 more. It was spot on, too. I was pleased with the service and the food and left a nice tip. I will definitely eat at this Chili's again if I'm in the Temecula area. I overall give this Chili's a 4 out of 5 stars. Stopped by for lunch. The only thing better than my great burger was our server Renee. She is awesome. My drink was never empty and she gave me one to go. I really enjoyed my old time burger. Hadn't been to Chili's since before Covid. Went for lunch today hoping to have chicken enchilada soup but they were out of it. They have a great lunch menu however, so I was able to make a good choice. I had the lunch shrimp fajitas. Just enough too, as I am not a big eater, and they were served with rice and black beans, a side tray of condiments, salsa, sour cream, cheese, hot tortillas and guacamole. Grant it the rice is not like home made, but it was palatable. Hubby got the bottomless chili bowl, but didn't take advantage of "bottomless" or even a second helping as he also is a small portion eater. It was very good though, he said. Not overly spicy, just right. Chips and salsa were included in his lunch, which we couldn't finish, but they were heavenly, the chips thin, light, and served warm, salsa with just a little bite to it, not too hot, but tasty. The waitress was kind enough to give us a microwave bag for the chips to take them home in, and a container for the salsa. Prices were great for lunches, and they feature a special all-day price for a good margarita, $5.00. I recommend the agave Margarita, it is the best and "skinny" too, you'd never guess how good it is. Love it. We joined the online rewards program (free) which will allow us free chips and salsa each time we come in. We won't wait 2 yrs to come back, I'll tell you. Stopped going to Chilis in Scripps Ranch, poor management. We now live in the area of this Chils, and I have to say the waitress, Rachel was excellent. I didn't give it 5 stars only because my boneless wings were a little dry! However I also think you should have root beer on refills instead of in a bottle. $7.00 and change for 2 bottles. Not busy, they accommodated us and put the Steeler game on for us. We sat in the bar, great time to show up around 430 to beat the traffic. The spinach queso dip is excellent. This is our second dine in with the family, being the first was on my birthday. We were happy to be seated once and for all by the same waitress. Her name is Stephanie. She made a very good impression the first time and can say the same for this evening. She's very friendly, professional, always has a smile on her face and impressed with her memory. The mix and match trio came with seared steak, shrimp and cut up chicken breast. Everything was tasty except for the chicken which was less flavorful and a little dry. The Caribbean salad came with shrimp, mandarin, dried cranberries, red bell peppers, green onions, cilantro and sliced pineapples. The honey-lime dressing has the right amount of sweetness and acidity. I would recommend separating the sauce as when the salad was served, the veggies came soft and lost its crisp. The Santa Fe burger was off the hook. The meat was tender, tasty and juicy. From the time we ordered the food, we only waited for a little over 10 minutes, which I think was done in comparatively little time. I have to say that all the staff in this pub are customer-friendly, inclined to help and make you feel welcome. We have been coming to this Chili's for years and have never had any issues. The food here is mostly good. Today, we ordered curbside. In our order of 5 items there was also an order for molten lava cake. When we opened the box for the dessert, we saw a spider crawl out of a hole in the cake. I took a video of it. Normally, I wouldn't post something negative without giving them a chance to rectify. However, in this instance, I called the location twice and asked for the manager. The first time, I was put on hold for 10 min without anyone asking me to hold. The second time I called I explained the situation and the manager's response was that we are busy right now, please call back in 1.5 hours. Really? I would've expected someone to take my number down and call me back when appropriate. I didn't even ask for a refund. Just wanted them to be aware. This post isn't so much about the spider in the cake as it is about the disappointing customer service. I hope they get better at customer service and, of course, the cleanliness of their kitchen. read more

I actually started going to Chili's having working dinners with my Boss. We would be seated and sequestered from the public and was able to eat and meet without interruption. Now I go at least once a month and basically order the same thing every time. I'm usually seated at "my" table overlooking E. Vista Way. And then order. 1. Chips and Salsa. Warm, Crispy, perfecty salted tortilla chips, served with delicious red salsa. In my opinion the best restaurant chips and salsa. 2. Chicken Enchalada Soup. Creamy, hot, and delicious. Filled with big chunks of chicken, topped with cheddar-jack cheese and crispy tortilla chips. Slap your Abuela good! 3. Old timer Burger with fries. Imagine a hand formed 1/3rd pound patty of never frozen 80/20 Angus beef. Grilled to order. Served on a fresh breosh bun. Fresh, crisp, lettuce, thinly sliced red onion, ripe red tomato, dill pickle, mayo, and mustard. And if that's not enough add a portion of crisp fries. I don't need to tell you just how good that all is. Come at the right time and enjoy a refreshing house Margarita during happy hour.
