    Sirloin steak
    Janet E.

Was out in Temecula for my birthday weekend and decided to go to Chilis since I had gotten a gift card. I was craving some steak and i remembered they had some for options. I ordered the sirloin steak and my husband got the rib eye. The food looked really good when it finally came out. I got to eat half of my steak and then the other half was very strange. It was very chewy and I thought maybe it had a nerve but it didn't . I tried cutting another piece and same thing it was super chewy and pretty gross. I had to spit it out, I don't know if it was just a bad piece or what, or even make that fake meat I've been hearing about. But that was $25 down the drain and in this economy that's a lot. I'll Stick to Long Horn for steaks from now on.

I have been coming here literally since the day I was born. Birthdays, Graduations, and promotions were celebrated here with my family. I now live near Perris and I will still make the drive to come to this location. Not only are there amazing places near by for a sweet treat but also to walk around. The service here is amazing, the food is phenomenal. What more can I say. No other chilis has topped this location in my opinion!!

Was invited to lunch and football at Chili's Their menu had various combination choices and my choice was a three pick of the chili chicken with the honey chipotle sauce. It had fries & macaroni and cheese with 5 piece was plenty of food. I actually had two pieces for leftover and the sauce was delicious. Another meal had ribs, macaroni and cheese and chicken pieces and that was delectable also and my daughter had a chicken grilled quesadilla, which was also delicious The service was very spot on with plenty of attention to detail and refills and to see how we like the food if there is anything else we needed and we were able to pay at the table so that was a convenience also Seating was quick and the booth had plenty of room for the four of us. The sound inside with plenty of football on multiple TVs was still quite amicable to sit and talk amongst each other. This location had plenty of parking and it was off the main street so it was convenient to pull in and go right into the restaurant. I would recommend this Chili's as a place to come and eat and watch a game or just have dinner.

Chili's marketing got me into the restaurant to try the 3 for Me deal. Stopped here with my son after the movies. Nothing too fancy, but regardless we enjoyed our respective chicken tenders and burger meal, some chip and salsa and a small side salad. Service was VERY fast! Restaurant was the typical chain Chili's feel.

Cumin and chill at Chili's there no beans about it. The food was well prepared, hot, cheesy, and jalapeño flavors in your mouth. The service was awesome. We got seated right away. We didn't have to wait long to order and when we ordered our appetizer, it seemed like it only took two minutes to come out. Talking about spicing up your life! The ambience is sports bar and it was a Sunday and I felt the game day love. The menu prices are affordable. There's all type of affordable menu specials. You'll be chili-in' like a villain. Don't sweat it, keep it spicy my friend and dine in

Rating this Chili's a 5 Star just purely for Kim. Never before have my friends and I had such a caring, funny, and down to earth server. We go almost every week and always try and sit in her section or say hello at the very least. She truly and deeply cares about all of her tables, providing conversation, wit, banter, laughs- I could go on forever about this wonderful woman! It feels less like heading out to dinner and more so like heading to visit a friend. It's clear she has a passion with connecting to other people & it makes the experience unlike anything else. The food is okay, just regular classic Chili's, but the service and drinks at this location is just top tier. A special shoutout to the El Niño drink, that one is a MUST (shoutout to Kim for the recommendation) The $6 margaritas of the month aren't bad, but the El Niño is about $11 and a much better bang for your buck.

The food here was good it was me and my boyfriends first time ever going to chilis and the hype did not disappoint. I got the triple dipper plate with the mozzarella sticks, chicken tenders, and mini sliders everything was good but the burgers were a bit dry and my boyfriend got the ribs and Mac and cheese SO GOOD the Mac and cheese tasted like soup plantation btw. And for appetizers we got buffalo bites which were great portions and ended up leaving with left overs. Are waiter was kind and patient and got us are food quick so I'd say service is good. And ambience was a bit small but that's not their fault but still good seating areas. we were at a table for 2 which was pretty roomy without feeling far from each other. THIS CHILIS WAS GOOD! The only reason I put 4 stars is truly because of the biggest the buns were to hard for me and a bit dry but did have very good bacon bits inside.

Our server Rachel was great! It was a decent value for a family of 5. It cost us $80 with tip. I throughly enjoyed the lunch special. I got a smash burger, fries, drink, and soup for only $10.99. In addition, we used the free chips and salsa offer using our app. We came here because our teen was craving the mozzarella sticks, which are her favorite! Ambiance was good for friends and family. The family enjoyed our meal.

Tempting drink at a very reasonable price!

Sunday, October 27, 2024: We had a very late lunch here. Our server was Shyann, who took very good care of us! The eatery was very clean and it was about 80% occupied so we were seated at a table right away by the friendly hostess. Hubby had the Margarita Chicken and I had the Chicken Crispers Combo except it wasn't very crispy so that was a misnomer! Overall the meals were tasty and we loved the chips & salsa, which were complimentary. We hadn't been here in a while but we enjoyed and will definitely return!

    Happy hour.

I found out about it through my cousin, who's a UCR alum, and I'm really glad I finally got to try it. The staff were super nice and attentive, constantly coming by our table to check if we needed more water, tortillas, or anything else we might want. Even with how busy it was, they still made sure everyone was taken care of, which I really appreciated. The restaurant was packed, and it actually surprised me because I don't usually see that many people at restaurants in Riverside. The energy inside felt lively but still comfortable. One of my favorite parts was the fresh tortillas. They come out hot and fresh from the oven, and you can literally watch them being made right in front of you, which made it even better. And the best part is they're free. We ordered the carne fajitas and chile relleno. The fajitas were incredible, the meat was juicy, tender, and packed with flavor, with that perfect smoky sear that comes from being cooked fresh on a hot skillet. Everything came out sizzling and stayed flavorful with every bite. The chile relleno was also really good, with a nice balance of savory and slightly creamy filling that paired well with the sauce. It was actually my first time trying fajitas, and I can confidently say I'll be ordering them again the next time I come back. I definitely plan on returning while I'm still at UCR to make up for all the years I didn't know this place existed.

My first thought upon seeing the exterior and entering was, "OK, definitely old school", and I was right... Anchos has been around for an amazing 37 years and counting! The large open space is nice 'n brightly lit, yet somehow not too much so. As our hostess walked us to our table, we passed an enclosed tortilla-making machine where the freshest of the fresh tortillas seemed to be popping off the whirling dervish like Mexican hot cakes (which... yeah, duh). After ordering, we were quickly served a huge container of them-- so fresh, one could barely hold these 1000 degree piping hot discs. It was demonstrated to me that the classic way to enjoy the tortillas was to spread a little butter which melts almost instantaneously due to the sun-like hotness of the vessel, a quick dash of salt, and a dollop of their super freshly made mesquite-roasted tomato salsa makes for a yummy appetizer. While that was delicious, for me, the true test of a tortilla is to try it plain first. And boy, did it deliver! The style is slightly more risen than traditional, but tasty none-the-less, and I would soon find out why its actually the perfect tortilla for our main entrées-- the CARNE mesquite grilled plump skirt steak fajitas! Now I am always dubious when a restaurant calls out that one of their items is "FAMOUS" and actually prints it right on the menu, but in this case I truly get it. These thick juicy slices of mesquite grilled skirt steak are mind-glowingly muy delicioso, and YES, they are plump indeed. We ordered medium-rare, and they came out to perfection! Years ago, I wrote the steak fajitas at the Rio Grande restaurant in Boulder, CO had "the absolutely unequivocal best steak fajitas I have ever tasted in my life!", and I tell you, these really put that statement to the test. If I'm being honest, the steak itself at Anchos is truly on another level. It's not that it's the best "fajita steak" I've ever had, it's possibly the best "steak steak" I've ever had. OK, that's probably an overstatement, but it's not too far off. While I still think the accoutrements of the Rio Grande fajitas (mainly their phenomenal grilled peppers & onions) are standouts, the carne asada here at Anchos is nothing short of amazing! And those tortillas... yup, the slightly extra thickness holds up well when you fill it with with the extra thick cut carne asada, and their tasty arroz con frijoles, onions & peppers. Mi plato was WAY too much food, and I happily ate every single bite :-) All-in-all, Anchos still delivers after almost 4 decades of serving the Riverside community, and I hope it's around for decades to come because as I looked around, not only were my friends enjoying Anchos, but everyone in the restaurant seemed to be beaming with the excitement of the great food & service from this wonderful family gem.

We mentioned it to the staff, and they made a fresh batch right away, which was delicious. The sauce it comes with is great too. They have a self-serve area for water and condiments. You bus your own table, but the employees still went above and beyond. A couple of them checked in on us while we were eating. We came to Cowboy Cantina tonight to celebrate my birthday... my mom treating me to a nicer dinner…read morethan what she'd normally afford for dinner, which made the experience feel extra disappointing knowing this was a more costly meal in her eyes. We ordered directly from the printed menu. I chose the brisket, which clearly states it comes with two sides, planning on baked beans and a baked potato. My mom ordered the baby back ribs with mac & cheese. When we placed the order, our server apologized and told us they had changed the menu, but not what's actually printed. Apparently, you no longer get to choose sides... everything now automatically comes with mashed potatoes and "mixed veggies," with no option to swap or upgrade. That was confusing, especially since the sides we wanted were available and could be ordered separately for an extra charge. Even if you add on a baked potato, you still get mashed potatoes and veggies no matter what. It just felt unnecessarily rigid and poorly communicated. On top of that, we were served Diet Cokes by another server, and on the very first sip we both immediately knew it was regular Coke. When we mentioned it, our server said he "didn't think so" but would check. It was a small thing, but frustrating--especially right after being told we couldn't order what was clearly listed on the menu. Eventually, after asking again, we were brought a can of Diet Coke, which solved it, but the hesitation felt odd. 2 cans for $7.90? Not even enough ice to stay melted. Was all just annoying. When the food arrived, it looked fine. The brisket itself was good, but it wasn't the meal I wanted or ordered. Plus EXTREMELY fatty. One piece was more fat than meat. I expect some on brisket but not The Who fat cap as a piece to be served. Also, the "mixed veggies" weren't what was described (green beans and carrots), but instead squash and zucchini. Overall, nothing was terrible (maybe the mandatory squash), but the combination of an inaccurate menu, inflexible substitutions, and small service issues made the night disappointing. I don't think I'll be back, which is a shame, because this was meant to be a special birthday dinner and just didn't live up to the moment. Had my siblings been with I'm sure they would've stormed out yelling at so they are lucky they got the nice ones in the family... but, my mom deserves a refund.
