There was only one hiccup. One of the parents order a canned drink but didn't notice that it was alcoholic. This was in no way the fault of the restaurant as it was obviously beer. The parent didn't complain he just opened it and left it. The waitress who was bussing our area asked him was something wrong if he didn't like it and the dad said, I didn't realize it was alcohol. The waitress walks over with the POS machine asked him is order number found the drink and refunded it to the dads card. Had a horrible experience that may direct me to the other location. I come into this location a minimum of three times a week with my family, and usually have a great experience. This last time was awful. I ordered the food before my wife and daughter arrived. We usually get the same items each time, some type of dinner item with a salad. Usually the salads come out first, this time the came out right before the meal. Chelsea was waiting on us, we brought it to her attention that we have not received the salads as she was informing us the food will be out shortly. My wife asked to speak with a manager, Gabe was on shift. He informed us because we ordered all the food together that is why the salads were not brought out first. That makes no sense. An appetizer always comes before the meal and a salad always comes out before a dinner. We always order the same way. We also asked him on another occasion to show us if our discount was used towards our meal on the tablets they keep on the tables and he said he didn't know how to work it. For a manager, he doesn't seem very professional. The service was awful as well. We were not checked on or asked if we would like refills until the end of the meal. We are very disappointed. I came in on a Saturday around 7 with my sister and two kids, 4, and 9 months, and was greeted by Jerry - pretty sure he was the manager. Ok, right off the bat, this guy was great. Super funny and personable. We sat outside, was greeted by another female server with an awesome black and white sleeve and dark hair (forgot her name but she was super nice and played with my daughter - the baby - quite often). Not only was she great, but Jerry kept coming to check on us as well, and the restaurant wasn't empty by any means. Overall, the food was alright, but the 5 star review was for the customer service. Jerry and this other woman were beyond quality. And, not to mention, Jerry was so impressed with my 4 year olds good manners, that he gave him one of those lava cakes for free after making sure it was cool with me first. He seriously made my sons night. Even when the food is so so, good customer service goes a long way in my book. And I'll definitely come back to this location based on the employees alone. Enjoyed the Chili's in Murrieta, but we moved to Temecula so we tried the location by the duck pond in Temecula - totally not good. The first time, we waited to be seated for nearly 5 minutes while the hostess passed us by over and over and never asked to help us. Finally the Manager had to help us and sat us, told us someone would be out to take our order and after 10 minutes of waiting, we gave up and went back inside to get our own drinks from the bar. That bartender was great, but our second (and last time) the bartender was completely rude, unprofessional, and pretty much just a punk. No one ever came out to see if we were ok, ever! Even after other patrons would be sitting right next to us, the servers wouldn't even look at us! Totally amazing. Never have I ever experienced such shitty service in my life!! In the past, our experiences at this establishment have been inconsistent, but our most recent two visits have been exceptionally positive. It appears that either the management has changed or significant internal improvements have been made, resulting in a vastly enhanced dining experience. The food was generally of good quality, with the exception of the excessively salted fries. The food was served promptly, and our server was attentive and checked on us multiple times throughout our meal. The establishment was clean and the music was not overly loud.
