Awesome. My wife and I get the Chili's to go thing all the time and love it. Food is pretty great.

The jalepeno burger was pretty tasty, but the service was super slow (not to mention the fact that my fiance and I were ignored once we placed our order, and the servers seemed really confused about what food went to what table) and the restaurant was incredibly dirty. It seemed like the floor hadn't been swept since that morning which isn't exactly appealing. It's just not worth the money, and definitely not a place to go on dates. read more

A group of three of us came here and as far as service goes it was quick and friendly. We got chips and salsa though and a handful of the chips weren't fried so they were soggy. Also, we got a molten cake that was not very good and just super spongey. read more

The service was great! But the food was honestly the worst experience I've had at a restaurant. I order the steak and chicken fajita, and the meat was disgusting. The steak was so burned it was black, it looked and tasted like the meat was old and had been pre-made and then microwaved after a couple hours of sitting there. The meat was so tough I couldn't even chew it. I would advise not getting anything that could be pre-made, only order something that they will have to make fresh for you like chicken tenders. read more

I went there tonight to celebrate my birthday - I also had a free dessert that was sent to me for my birthday. My dinner wasn't the best experience and ruined my celebration. I had a lond blonde hair in the bottom of my side salad. It turned my stomach when I found it but they brought my dinner out so I just stopped eating it. My corn on the cob had so much pepper on it that I couldn't eat it. No where on the menu does it say that it comes with butter, salt and pepper on it. I hate salt and pepper on it. Worst of all, I can't eat anything spicy. They also brought us chips and salsa that we didn't order and I had the pleasure of watching my husband eating those. I tried but it was too hot for the open wounds I have in my mouth from surgery and radiation. Our dessert was great. The waiter did take 50% off my meal but since I told him at the end, he really couldn't do much (is what he said). He did get me a fresh non-peppered corn on the cob to take home with the rest of my dinner that I didn't finish. As we all know, if I warm up the over half my meal I didn't eat, it will not taste as good. It will be a long, long time before I go to a Chili's again. Such a disappointing birthday dinner. I love coming here! Service never disappoints, which is great because it's a huge part of the experience when dining out. Hostesses and servers are always nice, friendly, and super chill. Sometimes the manager will go around making sure customers are enjoying their meals. We went here on a Sunday, and were ignored after we placed our order. We saw the waiter walk past us several times and look at us, without asking if we needed anything. After 45 minutes of waiting for our food to be served....we walked out. Will never go back again! There is nothing wrong with the food at all, this is your typical chilies experience. There are also several large flat screens around for viewing sports events. The service however, has been unacceptably slow. I waited 12 minutes for my drink to get to the table. Other servers have been looking at me, then just looking away so they could go back to standing around and doing nothing. read more

I ordered takeout on Saturday night. The young lady who helped us was very sweet and caring to my niece, who was very hungry and upset. She offered her crackers and even taught her "the hungry dance" which made her laugh and held her over until the food was ready. Arrived at 5pm. No wait to be seated but took over an hour and a half to receive our food after ordering. Many tables who arrived after our group of 6 came & left before we even received our food. FAILS Over one 1hr wait for our food Drinks were wrong Sides were wrong Asparagus was improperly blanched on every plate Dressings were, you got it WRONG Wilty lettuce Gross old veggies as sides The server even tried to pull a switcheroo on one of the ladies who had ordered a specialty drink Weird chewy tendons in everyone's chicken Full dinner salads were tiny and I would daresay I would have received more for my bang for my buck ordering a salad at Wendy's Server dumped on his buser or assistant even making up a 'grunt' name for the assistant. Went there this evening and ordered the fajitas. They came out and I was surprised to not see red bell pepper but figured it would be fine. I took a bite and was disappointed that there was very little seasoning on the fajita mix. The chicken was really bland. We called over our waiter who recommended the fajitas to inquire if it was missing seasoning, he informed us it was not. I told him it was very bland, he then told me he was not a fan of it either. I then told him he probably shouldn't recommend it then. Not sure I'll be going back after this experience. read more

Celebrated our daughter-n-law's birthday at Chili's in Orem. By far the Orem location is our favorite in Utah County....not only do they have great food, but they get you in and out in a timely manner. I love Chili's, and always have. I even used to work at the Chili's in American Fork, UT. But every time my wife and I have been to THIS Chili's the service has been awful. We were completely ignored one time, and sat for about 20 minutes waiting to pay for our check, while this waitresses was hanging out with her friends that had just came into the restaurant. THEN I got up, went to the bar and had them try to take my payment, they had to have a manager come out and run it through, and she didn't even seem to care that I was having to do her servers' work. The food is great, it's Chili's, they have the same food everywhere else. However, I'm consistently shocked at how terrible their wait staff is. read more

WOW!!! Just WOW!!!! Worst experience at a restaurant ever!! Will NEVER go back! I got there at 6:00 pm on April 17th, 2015 and put our name on the list. The hostess told us the wait would be no more than 30 minutes. At about 40 minutes of waiting I asked how much longer. I was told another 30 minutes. This went on and on. We were waiting for over 2 hours!!!!!!!! Not only that but when I asked the hostess the last time she let out a very loud sigh and walked away not answering my question. I never complain but I was so upset I decided to speak to the manager. His response was simply, "it's the way of the world." He offered no apology, no compensation, nothing. Never have I ever been treated so poorly as a customer in my life! If you want to be treated like crap, go to the Chili's in Orem Utah. Chili's is our go to place after softball! We love the service and the food. They have almost the greatest chips and salsa and guacamole. The rest of the food is good as well. If you are up for a fun atmosphere where you can get some good quick food, I would HIGHLY recommend this place. read more

I wanted to order to go, so I went online and every time I tried adding an item to my cart, it would crash on me and say my session expired and reload the page. I did this twice before giving up and downloading the mobile app.... which did the exact same thing to me. I finally decided to call in my order. It was ready on time, the girl who rung me up was friendly. But I get home and there is a plethora of problems with my order. My burgers have no mayonnaise (when I ordered and paid for extra). I ordered beef nachos (which were about 5 dollars more than regular bachos), NO BEEF. And I didn't get my side of pico with them either. The only part they got correct was my mashed potatoes. So I paid $9 for literally 6 chips with cheese which I could have just as easily done myself. Not to mention 40% of the cheese on them is burned to a crisp so it's going straight into the trash. Not my favorite place it's exactly the opposite staff was rude and we checked in online and was no told to come up to the podium to check in again so we waited twice the amount of time we were supposed to. Used to go to chilis regularly in the state we previously lived in. But this Chilis in Orem is the worst and we will probably never go back. EVERY SINGLE TIME we have tried to go to this Chilis we have to wait. This afternoon the restaurant is half empty but we still had a 15 min wait. This is not the first time this has happened. Chili's food is mediocre, at best. The kitchen, at the Orem location, has a problem with speed and timing, when the restaurant gets busy - we have been served cold food... and also had only half of our table served while we waited for the kitchen to complete the remainder of our order. But... what really sets this chain restaurant apart from other local dining establishments is their incredibly HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE! We had a party of 11, and they refused to try to accommodate a table of that size at 9:00 PM on a Tuesday evening. (There were plenty of open tables, but they insisted on splitting us.) The server was blunt about being annoyed by the fact that she got stuck with a table of "kids." (The table seated 2 adults, and four 15-16 year-olds.) I have been a server - in my experience, even teenagers are aware of how to tip... and, especially when they are accompanied by adults! It is completely inappropriate to vocalize that you are annoyed that you have to take care of your guests WHEN THAT IS YOUR JOB! The management was equally as rude when the issue was addressed. A gentleman approached our table, and... when he got defensive, he literally commented "if you don't like my tone, you can just leave." Well played, Manager-sir - we did leave, and will not be returning to Chili's in Orem. I recommend finding a different casual restaurant, in the area - DO NOT EAT AT CHILI'S!! My experience lined right up with the overall 3 star rating for this location. Not good, not bad..Food was actually pretty great overall but they forgot to give me plastic to go silverware, which sucks when you aren't taking your food home and need it. They usually ask or put it in. My salad was squished into a tiny to go container, which was strange. My tiny dessert was in a HUGE container, which was also strange. Food was done on time and the guy that checked me out was very nice. Minor things..We will come again! read more
