I decided to order through DoorDash to satisfy my sugar tooth for today, when I should've been working out! My tooth won the battle :(. Anyway, I ordered the Cheesecake and the Chicken Bacon Cheese Quesadillas with a Strawberry Lemonade. At first glance I felt the Quesadillas were small and over priced. They also weren't as crispy looking. Compared to the picture on DoorDash it wasn't as appetizing looking either. They did taste good but there was nothing extraordinary or exciting about them. Just your average quesadillas I can easily make at home if I wasn't being so lazy. The price was $11.99 for the quesadillas. The tortilla used is the small tortilla you find at any grocery store cut in half with the toppings. And there were 4 of them. I had additional toppings such as pico de Gallo, ranch, guacamole (extra cost), salsa and some other I don't know the name of. I would've preferred at least an extra quesadilla for the price or bigger wraps in lieu of the smaller size since this wasn't on the appetizer menu. Now the cheesecake is the true winner here! I've purchased cheesecake from several restaurants in the area and this truly takes the cake for me. The piece served was the largest of those I've ordered elsewhere. They included the strawberry topping in a cup still cold and semi frozen to thaw during the ride and really it hit the spot for me, so delicious. The combination of small quesadilla and large dessert did fill me up pretty good I must say. Overall a good experience and will return for other meals. read more

The food was fine. However, everything else needed to run a successful restaurant is lacking big time. The lack of customer service and speed on a slow night was interesting. Multiple employees saw us waiting at the host stand but no acknowledgements. No "someone will be right with you" or "the host will be right there". We waited for a few minutes. Not a big deal if it's busy, but it really is apparent when it's slow. The staff showed no motivation to clean tables on a slow night. To the point that a big table sat dirty for 30 minutes next to us and when a big party came in they really took their time seating them at the dirty table. No teamwork or hustle to get the patrons seated in a timely manner. Again, it was SLOW. Our waiter lacked hustle completely. Seems the whole front of the house is poorly managed. I've been a server for many many years. I've worked with bad management and great management. The front of the house is hurting this establishment. The food is the only reason this Chili's gets three stars. The back of the house did a fine job knocking the food out fast. But the fast pace of the kitchen was negated by the rest of the service. My wife likes the original nachos which are very good but we have been here probably 100 times over last 5 years and I wont be going back...they almost always mess up some aspect of the meal due to incompetant servers and management but Sunday was the kicker...they actually served my wife moldy shredded cheese then tried to lie and say it was pepper jack but it was only on two shreds so it was definitely mold. The lettuce is often brown as well. This location routinely messes up your order and has been for years. The fact they are still in business is a miracle. So if you want expired moldy food, lousy service, and a miserable dining experience then Chilis in Marlton is the place for you. read more

Food was pretty good, however my complaint is with the customer service. Arrived to this location with my family at 8:30pm on a Saturday night, keep this in mind because it's important. When the girl at the front asked a waitress if she was able to seat us and her response was "I'm done after them" that should've been a dead give away as to how our night was going to go. I understand was beyond her control, however she should have at least checked in and gave periodic updates or idk CUSTOMER SERVICE?!. Nothing was said until we asked for to go boxes immediately after we got our food...which took another 10 minutes because the first girl who wasn't our waitress decided to go to the kitchen and gossip, I only know this because where we were seated you could see the inside of the entire kitchen. Second attempt to get boxes, I asked the manager who looked clueless as all get out and returns with desert sized to go boxes...I looked at him and politely asked how were we going to fit our food in them? Last attempt our waitress FINALLY comes over & instead of apologizing for the long wait she looks at my son who finally starts to wake up and says "I'm right there with ya buddy"...like seriously?! He fell asleep because the food took forever! She finally gets the boxes and asks if the food was ok...we looked at her & just left after paying. Night shift crew is clueless and needs to be retrained, I get it's a Saturday night but it was a ghost town in there. Literally 5 tables were full at most. I love Chili's. I love their margaritas. Their food aint half bad either. But this Chili's surprised me. First, I went to lunch and had eaten by the time I got here at the place next door, On The Border. I like OTB just fine, but I definitely favor the drink repertoire at Chili's. But this one is probably the cleanest Chili's with the nicest help I have EVER encountered. EVER. lol Basically, we walked in, and I'm guessing this one is a newer one, since it's still very clean and you don't feel like you're walking into a breeding ground of bacteria. Some of the chains have a 2-for-1 drink special, and when we were there for the happy hour time, the bartender was nice enough to indulge us that there were appetizer specials, and the margarita special...it was like a mug with different flavors (lime, strawberry, raspberry, etc). We seriously paid like $3.50 for this. The cheapest margarita I can get in Manhattan is that, but it's smaller and .50 cents extra for flavor. Other Chili's establishments need to take note: go to this one to have this be the gold standard. Don't you go changin. read more

Gosh, there was a time when I loved Chili's chicken crispers but it's been years. A group from work stopped in at this Chili's for a quick dinner and let's just say it was a reminder of why I haven't been to one in ages. The appetizers were ok but nothing interesting, ribs were lacking meat and the margarita was a bit weak. Add in a less than clean interior, average service and I'm not sure why people eat at chain restaurants like Chili's. There are so many better places and ways to spend your money even if the commercials may be catchy. House salad with their vinaigrette is very good. Fries are delicious. I love a good iced tea & they have that here. I like the light menu. I get the mango salsa chicken with broccoli. If you want chips & salsa for the table order them when you order the beverages so you can munch on them before your meal arrives. The chips are light & crispy. My husband thinks they are the best when compared to competitors. They have a touchpad for ordering some food & drinks and you can use it for paying with a credit card but both times we used this the paper was inserted incorrectly so the receipt did not print. There is one booth in the bar area where the heater blows directly on you - it is to heat the entire restaurant & is uncomfortable if you are sitting in that booth. I am usually cold and I was baking hot. We asked to move tables & they were very nice about it. They also turned the blower off while we were there. Staff is very friendly. And we were right in that hour- hour and a half time frame between happlate sidey hour deals and late night deals We chose to sit in the bar area so we could watch the game, and when we arrived there were maybe 5 people in the entire restaurant but it was on the . I've been here many times for girls lunch and it can get busy during lunch. They can do a better job getting businessmen in and it quicker, I've had places that actually ask if you're on a timed lunch and that might work better for previous reviewers complaints on speed of service. I've never seen it crowded but I also have never visited Friday/Saturday nights. They just have nothing that draws people in to watch the games there at all. This location the service was prompt, our server was the host as well which was fine with us, but he was young so kept having to ask the bartender about drinks. A little more experience there and some knowledge he'll be a great waiter with drinks and beer knowledge. He just seemed a little green but to me that's better than old and jaded. I gave up and ordered a vodka and diet coke since they didn't have coconut cream to make my new favorite drink (a twist on a Pina Colada called a painkiller and very popular down in Morehead City, NC, area which is a pineapple juice, orange juice, cream of coconut, coconut rum sprinkled with nutmeg--I always opt out of nutmeg but even with it in it's really really good). They no longer have frozen drinks also which was a huge bummer. Being girls who worked all day we weren't starved so we both ordered appetizers, she got the onion rings and I got my go-to standard California Chicken Flatbread which in my opinion is one of THE BEST items in their menu. It's survived 3 menu changes so far bcuz it's that popular. Yes it's really THAT good! Get it as an appetizer to share (you won't want to share trust me) or order it as your meal yourself. It comes on a long 5" wide glass dish and is cut into about 10 pieces. The flatbread seemed a bit undercooked underneath so it wasn't as firm or crunchy as usual but still delicious, just a little sloppier to eat with a bendy crust. The onion rings were a bit overdone but crispy is always good and the sauce they serve with the onion rings is the perfect compliment. We ate everything lol My gf earlier mentioned that she can't get into the ziosk bcuz of all the germs that must be on there and our waiter remembered and brought us a paper check. I have used the ziosk checkout and it was easy and efficient, definitely nothing worse than being done a meal and you can't find your server for your check and you wait and wait. It will even suggest appropriate tip amount and let you adjust that amount up or down. It does print a receipt unless if it's out of paper or jammed then grab a server and tell them and they can print it off from their station. We had a good night drinking and catching up on each other's crazy lives and did not feel rushed at all even tho it was getting late, we left a little after 11. However it is a typical corporate chain restaurant location (or are they franchised?) so it's nothing special, nothing original or creative or unique. I've spoken to enough managers in the Chili's chain to understand they have a hard time keeping cooks and servers so the quality will vary based on how long your server and cook have been there. Lack of extensive training before being released into the wild? Nothing super or out of the world although that flatbread pizza calls my name lol It's always good food and the same menu across the country so no matter what part of the country you're in it will be just like home. read more

The last review is someone complaining about the amount of empty booths and I worry management took their review to heart despite not having the staff. We spent almost an hour waiting to have our order taken tonight, the waitress was working so hard just to get our drinks in. It was plain to see she didn't have the space to help us, and we felt almost in competition with the table next to us. We ended up paying on the ziosk so we could leave to pick up dinner from a fast food restaurant. Please, offer your staff a better rate so more people want to work for you. If you can't do that, don't sit so many people when your staff physically does not have the time to accommodate. This is not on them, it's on management. read more

As far as a chain restaurant goes, this location has been pretty sweet to me. Great bartenders, I have dealt with 2 and they have both been excellent always making sure they tell me about deals, giving 5 minute warning on happy hour ending. I was going to order a sampler plate last time I was in and they told me it was happy hour time and that I could get 2 appetizers for the same price. For there late night Happy Hour they have $1 10 oz. domestic drafts. WIth plenty of televisions and and ample parking this is a pretty decent watering hole. Great staff. read more

Went in on a Thursday night around 6:30pm for dinner with my mom, grandma and brother. The place was very empty for it being dinner time. The service was half-assed (excuse my language) and the food was horrible. We got 2 sirloins, medium rare and if was far from medium rare it was super well done. First time at this Chili's and it had a very nice ambiance. Had dinner with family because my wife received a gift card. The selection of food was good and it looked like the menu had been redone. I had one of the bowls and it was delicious. One concern I had was about payment. Our waitress told us about this Ziosk thing that we could pay from. The interface was easy to understand but it did not split our checks for us. That seemed to take up more time for us and the waitress so the Ziosk doesn't seem to be convenient. Also, unsure if a more streamlined way of paying is needed but I paid with a giftcard and was unable to tip our waitress because I wanted to tip with a debit card after paying with the giftcard. I explained that to our waitress and she agreed to it, then came back with the receipt and I gave her the debit card for the tip and she said that I can't tip with the debit card. read more

Awful service. My first time going there with my softball team and they messed up all of our orders. We had to send back a dish TWICE, they got it wrong the first time and than told us that what we really got was not on the menu, when we physically saw it. Had to explain to them that they did have it and they finally gave it to us, it was grilled chicken bites on the kids menu and I'm pretty sure they gave us turkey. Got another order wrong when we got sliders and they gave us chicken tenders. We ordered to nachos only got one. Asked for sour cream multiple times and never got it. Longest night of our lives. We sat at 6 pm, place was half full, did not seem busy at all. Didn't get a server to take our drink order until 6:20. We ordered our drinks and food all at the same time because we had our 3 yr old with us. Asked if we could get her food out quicker..well her food came out at 7:10, app at 7:20, and two dinners didn't hit our table until 7:35! Besides bringing out the food, server came by once to refill drinks. When asked why it's taking so long, we were told they were very understaffed. Solid excuse, but no justification for poor service as well. Used to love the old Chili's down by cracker barrel but we will not be returning to this location.
