It's near impossible to walk away from a meal at Chili's without wanting this dessert. So good!

Six years ago I wrote a review about Chili's $10 deal and it STILL stands today. (Insert head explosion emoji!) My family and I love this location and you can't beat the value, customer service, quantity of options, or hunger satisfaction from Chili's. This past weekend we were served by Miranda who was simply incredible - so kind, accommodating, personable, and attentive. I'm bummed Chili's changed their chicken crispers recipe, but their chips and salsa are THE BEST!

I came here recently to get the 3 for me deal after craving the honey chipotle chicken crispers. The price of the deal has gone up over time but the amount of food was still pretty much worth the price. The chicken crispers were a good size and there was a good portion of fries. I will say that the size of the cup of soup was small and I wish it was bigger. Our server was really nice and attentive and we were seated quickly. The restaraunt was also very clean and wasn't overly crowded. Overall what you would expect coming to a Chili's.

Great location, fast service, and good food! Our waiter checked in on us often, and the food was reasonably priced and great for sharing!

Shrimp Pasta, perfectly seasoned and cooked, delicious.

Just ate at chilis and the service, food and ambience was great I ordered the Cajun shrimp pasta, by far the best I ever had, the house salad was fresh and tasty, the chips are thin and when accompanied by there salsa awesome My wife of 45 years had the Santa Fe Salad and she loved it. Frank our server was great, he was very attentive, always checking on us and helped take our picture at the end.

Raw smash burger. Ordered it well done.

Ordered burger well done as I like my burgers. I was so hungry I took 3 bites before I realized this..... and was sick to my stomach the rest of the night. Called back to complain, was on hold a total of 17 minutes and passed to three different employees before finally being told "sorry" and asked did I want the burger remade or a refund. I would not have fed this to a homeless animal Never order a burger from chilis buyer beware. Have contacted corporate office as well. Date of incident 2/10/25

I found out about it through my cousin, who's a UCR alum, and I'm really glad I finally got to try it. The staff were super nice and attentive, constantly coming by our table to check if we needed more water, tortillas, or anything else we might want. Even with how busy it was, they still made sure everyone was taken care of, which I really appreciated. The restaurant was packed, and it actually surprised me because I don't usually see that many people at restaurants in Riverside. The energy inside felt lively but still comfortable. One of my favorite parts was the fresh tortillas. They come out hot and fresh from the oven, and you can literally watch them being made right in front of you, which made it even better. And the best part is they're free. We ordered the carne fajitas and chile relleno. The fajitas were incredible, the meat was juicy, tender, and packed with flavor, with that perfect smoky sear that comes from being cooked fresh on a hot skillet. Everything came out sizzling and stayed flavorful with every bite. The chile relleno was also really good, with a nice balance of savory and slightly creamy filling that paired well with the sauce. It was actually my first time trying fajitas, and I can confidently say I'll be ordering them again the next time I come back. I definitely plan on returning while I'm still at UCR to make up for all the years I didn't know this place existed.

First time coming to the restaurant for all of us. The ambience was cool and I liked the fact that they made the tortillas fresh. The food was cool I guess. My grandmother got the chicken fajitas but there were no bell peppers with it, just onions. The tamale was mid. My Dad and myself ordered a basic bean and cheese burrito. I did not like the fact that it wasn't mentioned that the beans are made with bacon until AFTER we received our food! My dad doesn't eat meat and the rice is made with chicken as well. The server did bring him something else but this needs to be stated on the menu or upon ordering! We were sat right next to where they made the tortillas and can see them being made since they had glass windows around it. However, there was one gentleman that was making tortillas who was on his cell phone texting or whatever CONSTANTLY at the same time while doing this. He had a glove on one hand and no glove on the other, and was touching the tortilla dough.....We all know how dirty a cell phone is! And what made it worse is at one point he itched the inside of his nose with his finger, and didn't even wash his hands or have gloves on after that. Definitely made my stomach turn and what caused me to go and write this review. I suggest a camera be placed at the tortilla station, add the notes about bacon in the beans and chicken in the rice, and add bell peppers to the fajitas. Also, maybe give the option of meatless beans and rice for the non-meat eaters

Whether made from flour or corn, the tortilla is fried until it puffs up, creating a crispy shell with light, airy pockets--like a cross between flatbread and traditional tortilla. On this visit, I tried a ground beef, carne asada and carnitas taco. I also tried the taquitos Texanos. The taquitos were decent but nothing special. A tortilla was rolled into a tube, stuffed with ground beef, and deep-fried. The beef was a bit dry and lacked distinctive seasoning. The taqueria's salsa verde, sometimes called salsa falsa, was also lacking in flavor. Of the three tacos I tried, the carne asada and carnitas were the best. The ground beef is very traditional. The carne asada had a decent sear to it. The carnitas verged on being a bit over cooked, but were otherwise tender. Each taco was topped with shredded lettuce and cheese.

I also travel and love to eat wherever I go so for the first 15 years or so after my diagnosis, my food can only be described as cardboard or parakeet food. However, since being gluten intolerant has become extremely prevalent, it is much easier now to find great food and growing up in Venice, California Mexican food was and still is one of my favorite cuisine. I was going to go to an event for Yelp at the Regent where I knew I would find snack type food that would be inedible for me so after partaking in the wonder of Dia de los Muertos, I walked past Bar Ama and was captivated by the cool interior. I wasn't planning on eating much but in keeping with the Halloween Calaveras theme, I sat at the bar and had a wonderful talk with the bartender/server and some fellow diners who are also eating at the bar. Whenever there are specials, I try to order them, and in this case, this was no exception as I started off with my first Pumpkin Margarita - pumpkin, cinnamon, tequila, combier, lime, agave. Nice taste without an overpowering pumpkin flavor. Since I'm a lightweight and cheap date, I had to have some hardy food and I tried their super nachos with shredded chichen picidilia. Calling something super could mean big and/or delicious. This was both. I powered through most of it and then the devious server made me look at their muy especial desserts. That's a lie but while I'm gluten intolerant I'm not glutton intolerant so I gave in to try a dessert presented in the spirit of the holiday- Pistachio Cheesecake Brûlée- kataif, buttermilk créme fraiche, saffron honey cherry blossom salt. I don't even know exactly how you take my favorite dessert in which I am a self proclaimed expert, Creme brûlée (which was the only dessert I could safely eat for years) and pair it with my second favorite, cheesecake. Are you kidding me? Ama tell you this was epic in the presentation that was almost too nice to eat. That's BS I dug right in after taking a few snaps for y'all and so I could salivate looking at the pics later. Delicioso friends. Needless to say I waddled content over to the Regent and ate nothing so as not to break the vibe of the meal. Gracias Bar Ama.
