I placed a delivery order and the 3rd party company dropped off a different meal, from a different restaurant! I went back and forth with no help from the other company. However, after speaking to Kayla, she refunded my money instantly. Even though they made the food and the driver pick it up, and delivered it to who knows who. Our family of 5 went there today & we were told after waking 10 minutes that they could only seat us in the sun or on a high stool table because there were 5 in our group. I told her I'm HANDICAP I can't sit on a high stool. So we were walking away when I seen her sit the family behind us "a family of 5" at a regular table. 12/4: We walked into the restaurant at 9:45 PM and nobody came to the entrance for well over 8 minutes. Waited, waited, waited, then we decided, after looking at the hours, to sit in the bar. The location closed at 10:30 but for some reason, it appeared as if the servers hid if guests came in looking to sit in the living room. We ended up placing our order with the bartender. He was nice, but once our drinks and food was served, he disappeared. Yes, we sat at the actual bar and you would think we'd be able to have access to the bartender/server, which was my reason for sitting at the bar, but nope, he disappeared. It's been over 5 years since I was at any Chili's. I was in the neighborhood, saw their online happy hour, $3 small domestic drafts and $4 large domestic drafts. I asked the "bartender" Jax, if it was happy hour and she replied yes. So I initially ordered a Bud light, but quickly reversed my order to a Michelob ultra, since it's "healthy"and on draft(domestic) Ordered two, the bill came, $10.90 with tax. I was confused, asked the bartender the obvious question and she quickly replied that only Bud Light and Coors light were domestic happy hour, not the Ultra. I would have appreciated her letting me know this. It's not about the monies, it's about the lack of communication when I changed my order. She should of let me know that the ultra was not on the happy hour menu. The beers were cold though, that's why I'm giving it a 2 star review. Will continue to go to my usual spot, Tequila Hoppers as opposed to a corporate run business who don't care about me. read more

I just got a to go order from here tonight. The food was great but I ordered the Cajun shrimp Mexican bowl and received a chicken one instead. I peaked in the bag before I left and it had a shrimp label on it; it wasn't till I got home and opened it to see chicken. I wasn't going to drive all the way back over there and I'm usually not one to say anything but as a worker in the food industry it is so important to triple and quadruple check the order to make sure it is accurate. My husband and I go to Chilis quite often, but usually the Upland location. This was our first and last time at the Montclair location. The bartender ignored us "to get caught up" for about 5-7 minutes. We ordered a couple of margaritas and I got the 3/$10.99 meal. (Husband wasn't hungry) The food was great (love Chilis!) but the restaurant looked like a tornado hit it (no tables were bussed) and the bar top was filthy. (I asked for a napkin to wipe it down) The biggest disappointment was that it was supposed to be "$3 margarita day" and I realized after my husband paid (he never checks the receipt..ugh!) that we were charged full price for them. Big bummer is that apparently $3 margarita day means $3 mixer margarita day (not sure there was any tequila...eck). I would have asked them to correct the price, but at this point, we were running a little behind to get to our movie. I still love Chilis, but definitely would not return to this location. read more

Didn't enjoy my dinner because of the distractions, talking loud and music making me feel like I was at a Fucken rave. Management was weak and I will not go back. Then we decided to just get ours to go and they continued to get it our order wrong while forgetting items as well. The iced tea was horrible too The thing that really stumped us was they were not even busy. There was about nine tables outside, we were one of three families there, the rest were empty. Tables that arrived after us were receiving their food way before we got ours. We just ordered cheeseburgers and fries which seems simple enough. Don't get me wrong, when it comes to Value and the taste of chili's, I find chili's to be worth the visit. I always seem to come to this location repeatedly, and for the last two month I had terrible customer service, this was the first time I seen service like this, I go with a couple of friends here and there and they also complain about how the service was not great, we had waiters and waitresses who checked in to little, or simply forgot about our appetizers and brought out our entrees instead. read more

Plus i've been waiting half an hour to get seated while I watch penalty of parties get seated immediately or prioritized to get seated before us. Chilis is always a good choice for a casual meal. The environment and food are both always good and the service is as well. This time there was no exception. We wanted to announce to our friend that we were expecting. I asked our server to be apart of it. He went above and beyond and played the part. He came up to me with a drink from the bar and placed it in front of me. As he did this, he said to me "you should't drink alcohol when you are pregnant" and walked away. I did not order a drink, nor did I look pregnant, so clearly my friend was in shock. She was upset! She called him back to speak her mind, and he took it like a champ. We finally broke the news to her, and she practically hugged our server. It was truly a great night. His service from then on was also superb. I only wish I knew his name....
