After waiting for over 45 minutes to be seated.... I can't even begin to explain the lies that you told while waiting for a table. The manager even came out at one point and spewed a bunch of lies to everyone patiently waiting for them to sort out the kung Flu start back. There were only 6 people in the whole restaurant! We would have been happy to spend our money at a local establishment. We completely understand the restrictions... but be honest. My friend and I ordered the tilapia from the 2 for $22 menu. The wait wasn't bad, but the food was another story. Both of our fish were severely undercooked and my friend's had bones in it. They didn't take anything off the bill, which was a bit disappointing. A positive was the waitress was very friendly, attentive, and apologetic. read more

I ordered a steak medium rare. It came out well done and I sent it back. The second came out medium well. There was hardly any pink at all. The manager stated there was a problem with their flattop. I didn't have time to order anything else, so I left hungry. They only covered the steak too...they didn't even comp my drink. That's not good business etiquette in my book. read more

Wish I had read the yelp reviews before visiting this god awful place. I would give it 0 stars if i could. My husband and i were visiting MF over the weekend, yesterday we were by the water and started to get hungry and we were like oh look, Chili's is right here and has a great view. So we get there and the hostess was nice, sat us outside and sent our HORRIBLE server Cassy over. This woman was the worst! She took our drink orders and left, brought them back then walked away, didnt ask if we were ready to order, which we were. 10 mins later she came back and said "ready" took our order and just walked away. She never smiled or asked us questions. She returned with our food and all but slammed our plates on the table, and again she just walked away...didn't ask if there was anything else she could do or anything. My husband's carnita tacos were cold and missing the sauce, my Chicken Quesadilla gave me the worst case of FOOD POISIONING I've ever had in my life. I'm lying here in bed as i write this review sick as a dog from being sick since 6pm Sunday evening. This place has a beautiful view but a horrible staff. She never said thanks as we left... nothing. If I'm not better in the next 24 hours I will be suing this disgusting place. I had to miss work today and by the way I'm feeling today, i doubt if I'll be able to go to work tomorrow. This Chili's must have one of the best locations and views in the country. Unfortunately, it must also have the absolute worst management. We took some friends in the other night and the place was absolutely disgusting. Tables everywhere were covered with the plates, cups and uneaten food from the previous diners. Against my better judgement we took an outside table to enjoy the view and after watching other frustrated diners and no waiter after 10 minutes we went next door to River City Grille. Waitress was nice. Yea, it's a Chili's, but with kids our choices are limited. Took 10 min for drinks. Queso was RANCID. Food arrived cold. Chicken was as if it had been cooked at lunch and heated for dinner. We don't expect much from a chain except consistency. This place needs serious corporate or management intervention yesterday. Just left the Chili's in Marble Falls, what a horrible experience! We should have listened to all the yelp and urban spoon reviews to avoid this place! Every table around us was dirty and the floor was filthy. After waiting half an hour for our food, we flagged down the manager, Barbara. She greeted us with a "what's up?"...are you serious? That's how you address paying customers?! We told her we wanted to know how much longer our food would be, so she went to supposedly check. She never came back...luckily our waiter finally brought our mediocre food. The kitchen here obviously has issues, the manager is a joke, no one is bussing tables and the poor waiters are probably the ones who get all the blame. My Mom and I are visiting Texas for a few days, and we were super hungry when we got off the plane so we went to the Chili's next to our hotel, this one. When we got there we asked to sit outside and they were super efficient in getting us a nice table even thought there were a lot of people there. The view was amazing and it was super warm. They were really fast about getting us our food as well. At one point, a waitress was bringing food to the table behind us and accidentally dropped the tray. They were so nice and offered the couple some fresh new food which they made quickly and brought out within five minutes. They apologized and cleaned up fast. It was super easy to pay using the tablets that they had at each table. Overall, they were really fast and super nice, which says a lot, because we were there over the Texas spring break. 5 stars, definetly recommend. read more

This location desperately needs new management. We go to this location often when we get into town late. Not much else is open in Marble Falls or Horseshoe Bay, and they have a full bar. Every single time the service has been absolutely SLOW. It doesn't matter day or time. They are short on waitstaff and cooks. Don't be in a hurry and have a lot of patience to visit this place. If Chili's upper management sees this review, I beg you to clean this place up and get new managers. read more

We were staying in Marble Falls for a couple of nights and we decided to eat at Chilis partially because it was on the River, great location, great view. But, that's where the good stuff stops. The food was terrible. 3 of us ate. My daughter proceeds to order steak with mashed potatoes and corn on the cob. Waitress said they were out of mashed potatoes and corn on the cob. We should've known at that point it wasn't going to be good. My daughter got her steak and it had a strange flavor. I told her not to take a chance, told her not to eat it and shared my not so good margarita chicken with her. My husband got chicken tacos and said they weren't good. We ended up going to Whataburger after leaving there. We did read the yelp reviews but figured the view was worth giving the place a try. Plus it's a chain restaurant and all chains taste very similar, not the case here. read more

YES it's a Chili's but DAMN they can do better. It doesn't take a genius, or particularly good management to make sure that your waitresses actually return to check a drink, or you know...take your money. Dirty tables, weird waiters that are not serving you that feel the need to jump into your conversation, non-existant management, cold food, wrong food, wrong drink, waitress spent tons of time playing with the soda guns instead of dealing with her only table (could be wrong on that, she could have been ignoring the other three tables in the restaurant at the time of course). I have yet to leave a bad review on Yelp but I guess it was bound to happen sooner or later. This is the most unorganized chili's I've ever seen. We waited 45 minutes for a table of 2 just to seated with empty dirty tables galore. Whoever is making the schedule or the night manager need to be fired or retrained. Our server Dj (or jd) was awesome and took great care of us and our food was great. If they were more organized up front we would come back more often than our last resort ever couple months. 3 restaurants have closed in our community this last month. Tried this place time twice. First time I was on the outside patio, Server was nice but it took 18 minutes to get my first drink. Food took awhile to receive as well. Went back in yesterday to give it another shot and service was slow and the place was filthy. Booths needed to be wiped down, windows needed to be cleaned and the floor needed to be swept. I looked at my wife and said were out of here! Left before drinks were delivered and to be honest with you, I dont think they event noticed we left. I really was hoping for better. This place has so much potential with an amazing view, but the handful of times I've been there the service was awful. This is not your average 'neighborhood' Chili's as it is right on the lake. There is a 97% chance you will have a 10+ minute wait and they ask you for your phone # so they can text you when the table is ready - Food and service is 'below average' for a usual Chili's but the view is great if you want to sit on the patio. A nice place but don't expect your usual service as it's a tourist spot rather than a local neighborhood. The waiting area inside is very cramped and right next to the hostess stand and restrooms. All the servers and the hostess were preoccupied with personal issues and we had several times when a server would walk by our table and pointedly ignore us whe n we were still waiting for someone to take our drink order. We were not a small table, but a hard-to-miss party of 8. One girl took our drink order, another one brought it out, a third came to take our order for appetizers 10 minutes after our drinks, and then a fourth girl came back to take our meal order. All of the extra sides and things were not brought out like extra ranch or salsa or even a drink refill. No wonder the place next door was packed on a Sunday while this place remained conspicuously empty. read more

You can't get this kind of patio view at any other chilis I guarantee it! Since Marble Falls is my home town I do know that this location did just make a lot of new changes such as new employees, new management, changes to the dining area, etc. For a while, yes, it took a while to get seated and get our food but come on! If you see only a few servers hustling in a packed house because they are short staffed just chill out and give them the benefit of the doubt. I can assure you that I have just recently been back and it is no longer like that. They have, from what I can see, a lot of new faces and they do a very good job to get your orders taken and food out very quickly. They do have a lot of great appetizers and you can't go wrong with any kind of margarita or a 16 oz cold mug of your favorite beer. Chilis is chilis!
