My brother and I have been riding our motorcycles all over the Texas hill country and we happened to find this cool little bar out near the Lake Buchanan dam. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Motorcycle parking right up front, great views from the covered patio area in the back, and ice cold beer.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]They also have TV's, a pool table or two, lots of bar seating, nice restrooms and a very friendly bartender.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] We needed a snack and the fried mushrooms that would normally be about $11.99 at any restaurant/bar in closer to the city were priced attractively at about $6 and served piping hot. We will definitely be back on a day when we have more time to hang out and enjoy the nice weather at this cool indoor/outdoor bar.

Great place for a cold one. We go to hill country every year and will definitely start making this a stop on the way.

This was flagged as a good place for kids and it is not. Seems like a great place for adults to relax, drink, eat and listen to live bands.

The guys at Templeton's Tavern get 5 stars for the friendliest and best service ever. They made us feel very welcome and right at home with many above-and-beyond moments like bringing us an extra pickleball racket to the court when they noticed another family member show up to play. The food and drinks were great. The games and pool table were super fun. We enjoyed the live weekend music from our patio while we cooked hotdogs and s'mores over the fire. Andrea was stellar with quick communication! Housekeeping gets 5 stars because it was really impressively clean. We had everything we needed in the kitchen and the beds were very comfortable. The grounds are well kept and we enjoyed hiking around and seeing the beautiful wildflowers. I can't say enough good things about this place. It is unique and combines all the beauty of nature with all the comforts of home and lots of attention to detail in decor and service. The container cabins are really very pretty and the spider sculptures are a neat touch. The sunset view is so amazing my tween girl ordered us all to the upstairs balcony to take it in. This is the perfect place to hang out with friends and family. We were sad to leave and will 100% be back. Best Spring Break ever.

The furnishings are tore up, even though you pay a $75 cleaning fee they require you to strip the beds, wash the dishes, and take all your garbage to the dumpster that isn't close. The WATER! Smells like a mixture of vomit and sewage that you bathe in. The restaurant/bar is a food truck and some bartenders that sat on top of the cooler for the night. Bun on sandwich was so burnt you couldn't eat it and when I left a google review the owner said I was rude so I guess that is all ok with her! Be careful though, they spy on you while you are there. 30 mintues before checkouT the "housekeeper" cased the place and then parked in front of the dumpsters and watched us... so creepy. Don't waste your money. It's HORRID, plus read the review on Google that says the same thing and the owners response. I'm rude because I kindly called out you overcharge for a dump! I am calling the health department on that food truck they call a restaurant and it. Is Luke a old creepy murder movie they way they spy on you in the dilapidated grounds...gross!

There is a food counter where you order sodas and food and a bar counter where you order all your alcoholic bevs. We've been coming here for years and have tried many things on the menu. We landed on 2-3 fave things we get every time. The order is never incorrect and there are no misses with the meals they turn out. Love their consistency. Recently we were turned on to the shrimp basket...so yummy! The pics of our baskets didn't do the size of the shrimp justice, so had to take one of our take home box. They are HUGE butterflied shrimp with a nice, light batter. Not a fan of their tartar sauce, but other than that, so yummy. My shrimp basket was on a bed of fries and my husband substituted onion rings for his fries. You can sub any sides. It's a hot spot for locals and visitors!

It's got a nice covered patio as well as a good amount of outdoor seating on picnic tables, indoor seating and a good sized bar area. You order at the counter at this place and then grab your food when your buzzer goes off. Pretty standard bar menu. I can't remember the name of the burger I ordered but it had grilled jalapeños and a large onion ring on it. Burger was good sized and decent but my only complaint was it was overcooked. Fries had some kind of seasoning and were really good. Nice combination of atmosphere, convenience, and half way decent food. It's worth stopping in.

There's inside and outside seating as well as bar. You enter and they hand you the menus. Despite the red neon order here sign right next to the entrance counter, it's not readily apparent that you do indeed order there. And I noticed it wasn't just us waiting for someone to come take our order as we waited. You seat yourself so unless they tell you directly to order at the counter you could miss it. So when the red neon sign finally clicked in my head, I went over to order. But while I was ordering two more parties came up and asked if they needed to order there. So maybe some more clarity up front outside the sign haha I ordered the Cali burger, my son had a burger, and they had a fajita special that his mom ordered. We also ordered a pretzel. Obviously being a pub they had beers. Non/alcoholic was a limited assorted of coke fair. Only unsweetened tea. No lemonade. Pretzel was soft and delicious. My son's mom loved the fajitas and the beans that came with them. The burgers were also really good. Bread nice and soft. Patties a good thickness. We all enjoyed what we had. No fries though. You get chips for your potato fix. The staff was also very friendly. It wasn't too loud in there and we were able to talk easily. If you're hungry don't pass them by.
