HUGE BURGER! 1# cooked medium and served with a smile. Great view of the Damn in the dinning room.

Pool tables and slot machines up in here.

After striper fishing all morning, we came here for a beer and a bite. No, we did not go fishing for strippers. Strippers are girls who work a pole for money, and stripers are caught using a pole with a line and hooks. Not the kind of lines and hooks you'd try using on strippers, but the type that snags fish. Does that make sense? No? Okay, one is a professional dancer, the other's a fish. We were after the fish kind - stripers with only one "p" - and we caught a mess of them out on Lake Buchanan. Afterward, our striper guide, Travis, said, "Go to the Dam Pub, they have excellent burgers!" So go to the Dam Pub we did. We ordered burgers, and the bartender said something about taking 45 minutes, but I could not hear her clearly because I what I thought I heard was that it would take 45 minutes before our burgers came out of the kitchen. That's apparently NOT what she said, and instead she must have said, "The cook is running late he won't be in for another 45 minutes." But as luck would have it, had I heard her correctly, we would have left to eat elsewhere. Anyway, an hour and a half later we were finally served our burgers and they were indeed excellent. I wasn't even mad for having to wait so long because they have cold beers and an amazing view and was having an excellent time hanging out here with my wife and our friends.

Great place for a cold one. We go to hill country every year and will definitely start making this a stop on the way.

This was flagged as a good place for kids and it is not. Seems like a great place for adults to relax, drink, eat and listen to live bands.

The guys at Templeton's Tavern get 5 stars for the friendliest and best service ever. They made us feel very welcome and right at home with many above-and-beyond moments like bringing us an extra pickleball racket to the court when they noticed another family member show up to play. The food and drinks were great. The games and pool table were super fun. We enjoyed the live weekend music from our patio while we cooked hotdogs and s'mores over the fire. Andrea was stellar with quick communication! Housekeeping gets 5 stars because it was really impressively clean. We had everything we needed in the kitchen and the beds were very comfortable. The grounds are well kept and we enjoyed hiking around and seeing the beautiful wildflowers. I can't say enough good things about this place. It is unique and combines all the beauty of nature with all the comforts of home and lots of attention to detail in decor and service. The container cabins are really very pretty and the spider sculptures are a neat touch. The sunset view is so amazing my tween girl ordered us all to the upstairs balcony to take it in. This is the perfect place to hang out with friends and family. We were sad to leave and will 100% be back. Best Spring Break ever.

Bun on sandwich was so burnt you couldn't eat it and when I left a google review the owner said I was rude so I guess that is all ok with her! Be careful though, they spy on you while you are there. 30 mintues before checkouT the "housekeeper" cased the place and then parked in front of the dumpsters and watched us... so creepy. Don't waste your money. It's HORRID, plus read the review on Google that says the same thing and the owners response. I'm rude because I kindly called out you overcharge for a dump! There's inside and outside seating as well as bar. You enter and they hand you the menus. Despite the red neon order here sign right next to the entrance counter, it's not readily apparent that you do indeed order there. And I noticed it wasn't just us waiting for someone to come take our order as we waited. You seat yourself so unless they tell you directly to order at the counter you could miss it. So when the red neon sign finally clicked in my head, I went over to order. But while I was ordering two more parties came up and asked if they needed to order there. So maybe some more clarity up front outside the sign haha I ordered the Cali burger, my son had a burger, and they had a fajita special that his mom ordered. We also ordered a pretzel. Obviously being a pub they had beers. Non/alcoholic was a limited assorted of coke fair. Only unsweetened tea. No lemonade. Pretzel was soft and delicious. My son's mom loved the fajitas and the beans that came with them. The burgers were also really good. Bread nice and soft. Patties a good thickness. We all enjoyed what we had. No fries though. You get chips for your potato fix. The staff was also very friendly. It wasn't too loud in there and we were able to talk easily. If you're hungry don't pass them by.
