Our last lunch in Marble Falls on this trip. We went here and it was really quite delightful. A great finish for a week. Their menu is very extensive. It took a while to sort through it so it's likely that if you like Mexican food of one sort or another, they'll have what you want. The chips and salsa were my favorite over the past several years, thin and crisp and hot. The chips were as good as I think they get. The salsa had a little bit of a bite and yet not so much to scare off the wife who doesn't handle much heat. I got the chicken enchiladas and they were very tasty. I thought it was plenty of food for me. I was able to eat it all, at some other places, I'm not quite able to eat the full serving. The wife had the al pastor burrito covered with cheese. She was really taken by the cheese sauce as it had some good flavors and it wasn't just bland as some cheese sauces have been at other places. The Al Pastor filling was truly delicious. I thought the service was very good. They waited on us quickly. They bought us our food quickly. The place is very clean. Were you able to get seated right away. As you look at the pictures you'll see there's a lot of room inside this restaurant. They also have a really cute bar. Along with everything else, the thing I was most impressed about was the affordable prices. I felt like these prices at $112 a person are much more affordable than most Mexican places I've been to in a while. If we're going to live here, this would definitely be on our rotation of regular places to go. I recommend it to anyone who wants to give it a try.

Really good Mexican food! Not a lot, but really good. I have heard that the service is not that great. However, we have come at a slow time as there are not many patrons. Our service was fine and we had no problems. The restaurant is clean and nice. There's a lot to choose from on the menu. The food portions are pretty small, but the food is really good. My only complaint would be the salsa was just OK and there wasn't homemade tortillas. H-E-B is less than a quarter mile away. I'm sure you could buy their homemade tortillas and use those. Yes I will come back and try again and yes, I do recommend. But maybe come a little before the time that you would normally eat that way, it wouldn't be so crowded and the service would work for you.

Food was really bland. For the price, I was expecting something that tastes a lot better.

I've been coming to Rio Bravo for 11 years and the chips, salsa, queso, fajitas, enchiladas, soup and the staff are incredible!

The ambience in this restaurant is great! They have a big bar area, with comfy chairs and tables in their lounge. It's separated from the dining area. There's enough room for live music, which they had on Halloween. Low lighting throughout for an intimate feel. We were greeted and seated immediately, but we were a little disappointed in the lack of attendance at 8:30 PM. We had a couple of drinks and a couple of items off of the appetizer menu, and then ultimately decided to head to Johnson City to see what festivities were going on there. The appetizer pricing seemed a little high to me ($20 each plate) but the dishes tasted good. The croquettes are really rich and cheesy. I didn't get a lot of lamb flavor from the flautas, but they were good. They also had free chicken wings and chips & salsa for their Halloween event. The wings & salsa were excellent! If we had stayed another 20 minutes, we probably could've won the costume contest ($50 prize) because we were the only ones dressed up besides the staff, but we didn't want wait until 10PM. It's a classy joint with a speak-easy kind of vibe. Give it a try!

They have local artists come in every week. The music was great and they had the volume low enough where you could still have a conversation if you wanted. The staff was so nice and attentive. They gave great recommendations of the menu. They have an good wine selection. Most of the bottles are from Flat Creek Winery. We had the 4 Horseman which was full-bodied. Definitely would recommend. The baked brie is delicious! It tastes so good with the bread. We had the lemon garlic penne with chicken. The sauce is so delicious and you can distinctly taste the lemon and garlic. The pasta was cooked to perfection. The chicken Marsala was good. Being a mushroom fan, I would have loved more mushrooms in the sauce, but overall was tasty. This was our first time at Adele's but it definitely won't be our last!

The short is the sourdough bread was just okay. I find almost all sourdough bread in TX seems to be undercooked and I'm not sure why. And all the sourdough I have experienced in TX has a different flavor than traditional sourdough bread. It also seems quite heavier than a traditional sourdough. I did ask for it be sliced but the slices were incredibly thick. Easily twice the width of a normal slice of bread. Given the heaviness of this bread and seemingly undercooked that thickness is not ideal. I have certainly had thick sourdough slices before, but those were traditional, cooked and lighter. Maybe the person could have changed the thickness but it wasn't offered. Lastly, when checking out... I was charged 3% for using a credit card. I was informed beforehand and it is displayed... but this doesn't make it okay. As a business owner myself, I know I can deduct bank charges for using a credit card. So, you are charging me 3% and you are taking a deduction from taxes. But to top it off... after charging me 3% more... the server wanted me to provide a tip! Oh, sorry... she just said "the screen is going to ask you a question". What question? Why don't you just come right out and say "I want a tip"? But tip for what? And it's $11 for a loaf of bread.
