I dined here with my mother and the overall experience was not so bad. We were attended very quickly and our order was taken right away. The service was fantastic! Our waitress did such a good job she was so sweet, I wish I could've gotten her name but she wore a high ponytail, probably one of the sweetest waitresses I've ever had. As an appetizer we got the Spinach and Queso. The cheese was delicious but we were honestly expecting more. Also, they put whole spinach leaves when most dips have the leaves broken apart making it easier to enjoy. Our plates were ok, we ordered the Cajun Pasta, which wasn't so bad, and the Alfredo, which in my opinion was flavorless. Now the dessert was another story! We ordered the red velvet sprinkler and it was the best red velvet dessert we have ever had. Usually restaurant's desserts have a fridge taste or just not good but man this dessert was delicious!!! I've decided to update my review from my previous one star review due to a horrible experience I had a year ago. I was hesitant to come at first, but we decided to give it another chance. The wait time was around 25-30 mins but it was a Friday night, so it's not bad compared to the 45 minute - 1 hour wait at TGIF's. The service was super. The waitress was very attentive, and even gave me the wrong drink at first, but I didn't even notice it until she told me herself and brought the right one. Appetizers and food came quickly. I am completely done with this Chili's location (used to be my favorite). On 2 separate occasions last year my visit was horrible same complaints as most of the comments here, extremely slow service. My last visit in May of 2018 was so horrible that I was NEVER going back. My order was a SALAD with no tomatoes. My boyfriend had a hamburger. It was our lunch HOUR. His burger finally came out after 50 minutes of our arrival. No salad. Another half an hour went by, my salad finally arrived WITH tomatoes. I refused it and told them to just box my salad I had to go. About 15 more minutes, I get my to-go salad...WITH tomatoes. Today's visit didn't fail to disappoint...nothing has changed. Took forever to get drinks, took forever for the waitress to take our order...we actually had to tell her we were ready to order. A salad for me. A soup for my co-worker. Two guests arrived 10 minutes after us. One got a salad, the other one got a soup and burgers before we got a salad and soup. When we asked...it was going to be 10 more minutes for the soup. We told her to box everything, our hour was up. I asked for extra dressing, there was none. The grilled "chicken" on my salad looks like sliced lunch meat! I will be taking this crap back to them when I get off work. Ridiculous!! Not to mention the snarky attitude we had to deal with from our "waitress". *UPDATE* Took this crappy salad back up there...the manager said sorry you had a bad experience & hope you'll give us another try. Come to this location if you want to be ignored. I popped in one day after work while waiting for my ride. It wasn't busy and the section they put me in only had 1 other customer. Over 15 minutes later, no one had waited on me. I told the hostess who got someone. I ordered chips and salsa and a drink. 20 minutes go by, no food, no drink. She finally brought it out and as soon as I started eating my ride was there and I had to leave. It was a waste. I returned with friends a couple weeks later. We sat at a table in the bar area...The same waitress I had before was our waitress. I laughed and warned my friends how terrible the service was before. ... I ordered chips/salsa and a drink. My friends ordered drinks and apps. Everyone else got their drinks in a normal amount of time except me. She forgot my drink, or maybe did it on purpose? About 25 minutes after ordering she brought my drink, still no chips/salsa. I told the waitress to cancel the chips/ salsa as it was almost time for us to leave now. I work in the same strip center this location is in and used to frequent for take out lunch, but I don't plan on going back to this location anymore. read more

First time I came to this chili's I went with a party of 8. From the time we entered chili's until we left it took 3 hours. Very poor service, I understand why no one is at this location. Second time I ate there with a party of 6, again long wait we never got refills and the place was empty. I've ate at a lot of chili's all over and this is a complete failure to the point it should be shut down. Got a to-go order of the 6oz steak with the regular sides. By the time I got home, which is less than 5 minutes away, my food was already cold. On top of that, the meat was not cooked to medium. I usually order medium rare but I always order medium at Chili's since it's always undercooked. The broccoli tasted like soap. And the mashed potatoes were so bland and nasty. This is the worst Chili's in the world!!! Terrible management. The bartenders are so rude. A 20 minute meal (soup and salad) will take more than an hour. Bartenders will ignore you while they are on Facebook or talking to other employees and leave your food sitting in window. I have had to ask for them to go get my food sitting, forever, in the window the last 4 visits. Every time they said ok and then walked past the food and kept on doing what ever they were doing. No wait time to come in however, after we were seated it took at least 15 minutes to get our drink order. Iced tea and water. No lemon garnish or even a straw. Appetizer took over 35 minutes to arrive. Basically our steaks arrived just as the appetizer did. I do appreciate the servers sincere apologies. He immediately got his manager involved. This location is an embarrassment to the Chili's name. I have ordered take-out from this Chili's four times and every time I have regretted the decision. I love Chili's normally and I wanted to actually be able to have my Chili's favorites from the closest Chili's to me but I realize now that it's too much to ask for. Sometimes, it's the food that is subpar - cold, overcooked or not made to order. Most of the time, however, it's the staff. For example the last time I went in for take out: I place an order online and arrive at to-go to pick up my food when it is supposed to be ready. I walk in to the to-go area and no one is there. I wait for a few minutes while servers and even a manager walk by, look at me and don't even ask me if I need help. Finally a server with some sense comes over and tells me that to-go's are currently being taken at the bar. So, it's already been 5 minutes and they've let me down numerous times. So I walk all the way around the restaurant to the bar and tell the bartender that I need my to-go order. He actually goes and checks on it and when he sees that it isn't done, asks the kitchen to finish the order. I wait another 5 minutes and ask the bartender what's happening. He goes and checks the order again (which I can see and know someone added to a few minutes ago - so why hasn't he checked it in that time?) and realizes now the only thing missing is a side salad with avocado, which he asks the kitchen for. Another five minutes pass and another server asks me if I need help - she too asks the kitchen for the side salad. Another three minutes and I ask the bartender to ask again, which he does. This time, as he walks away I hear the kitchen guy say to a MANAGER (who doesn't seem to care that my order is now 20 minutes overdue) "what did he just say?" And at this point, I lost it so I yell out to the kitchen guy "HE SAID HE NEEDS A SIDE SALAD WITH AVOCADO FOR THE THIRD TIME." And they stare at me before the kitchen guy walks out of my range of sight. After a few minutes I see the bartender in the kitchen trying to get the salad. He puts the order together, takes my payment, half-heartedly offers an apology for the wait time and I leave. Fuming. At this point, I can't even believe I paid for this food and that I didn't talk to a manager about the experience but I was SO HUNGRY and my food was 30 minutes late and half of it was cold. This is just one of four separate, horrible experiences I have had in this restaurant. The people just do not seem to care at all. I obviously do not think everyone who works here is awful but maybe after enough time working in a mismanaged and overall awful environment, their spirits break and they too stop trying. I have heard that this Chili's holds some special significance for the area but if Brinker knows what's good for their brand they will either shut this place down or give it a complete overhaul very soon. read more

First off...the food here is delicious and very reasonably priced BUT it takes FOREVER!!! I have no idea what time is a good time to go here but I can tell you that every time we come to this location it takes a minimum of 30 minutes to get our food. My son and I stopped by after catching a movie and we were seated right away...then we waited 15 minutes for a waitress. When she showed up she was friendly but seemed overworked and tired. She took our order and 45 minutes later we were served our lunch. The food was piping hot, so it was not the waitress slacking this time it was obviously the kitchen. The interesting thing was that they were not even that busy. I really wish management would address this problem. I have spoken with management on several occasions about this problem and I always get the impression that they could care less. read more

This place is a joke. We ordered two sodas and two for 20$ chicken/pork tacos with appetizer spinach queso dip. We were brought our drinks then brought chips and salsa. Finally maybe 10 mins later she brought out our queso. We then waited for our meal which took nearly 35 mins when there was maybe 3 other tables with people period. When it was brought out it was clearly the meal for 1 person not the two for $20. We started eating and then we were only charged for the single 11.99 meal plus the 6.99 for appitizer!! Because it's Chili's, I feel obligated to give it two stars instead of one. When we were younger we used to come here all the time, but over the years the quality of this location has deteriorated. Today I decided to order a 6oz sirloin cooked medium. It took about 25 minutes for our food to come out, and when it did my steak came out closer to a rare-raw. So when the server returned with my medium steak I couldn't help but laugh at the fact that they literally gave me the same steak, including the slice that I cut off originally! I was actually surprised to see such low star ranking for this location. I did not check until after I left and am glad I didnt. My experience was very pleasant. I was there about 3:00 and so they were not very busy. The waiter was fantastic. I was actually using it for a small business meeting and so we were there about an hour. The food was awesome. We usually don't come to this chili's, we come to the one off of Taylor street... this chili's in particular can be a hit or a miss, depending on the waiter (boy=super slow service, girl=great fast service) this particular night we got a girl server, she was Hispanic, although I want to say that she apologized and said she was not our waitress but she was helping out, BUT as it always tends to happen they think we don't speak English because she started off her intro in Spanish... she took our drinks and order. Cue the actual waitress... she came to our table and hurriedly repeated the order, we just nodded and trusted that the first girl got it because she wrote it down. We got our order first BUT my husbands order wasn't correct. They brought him a salad instead of his burger. The manager and our waitress apologized to the point that we felt completely awkward about the whole situation. The waitress kept saying she dreaded to come to us because of the mistake and blamed the first girl, I get it you have to make excuses to cover yourself. When my husbands order was brought out we didn't make a fuss, we didn't throw a tantrum we didn't do anything to suggest our disappointment, we just politely let them know our order was wrong, the waitress made a bigger fuss than she was supposed to and in the process made us feel guilty and uncomfortable about the whole thing. I understand that some guests like the overly apologetic servers but there also has to be a balance. When my husband finally got his meal the first girl came to check on us and she noticed we hadn't even gotten our appetizer, we again politely declined it but the manager insisted on bringing it out and he even took the appetizer off the check and he gave my husband his order free. I just witnessed the server giving the wrong order to the wrong party, then my food which was to go, went to the party whose order was wrong or not even put in. SO I WENT IN, PAID FOR MY DAMN FOOD and someone else get mine because somebody else messed up. BUT MY FOOD AGAIN IS ALREADY PAID FOR, what kind of shiggidy is this. I won't be coming back. The service was terrible. There were only a few people and it took ages for the food to arrive. We ordered appetizer and main course but the waitress forgot to place the order for the appetizer. OK, she apologized but she didn't look very concerned about her mistake. Then, the side order was missing but we were so hungry at that point that we started eating.
