Not a restaurant for a vegan, but they do have vegan options that aren't on the menu. The options are very limited so don't come thinking you'll eat a lot of food. The server, Anne was the most polite and attentive. She let me know that only two vegan meals: vegan fajitas (grilled zucchini, squash, onions, and red bell peppers) not cut, but big chunk pieces. The black beans are vegan. The tortillas are too. The rice isn't, but it's prepared in animal stock. It comes with guacamole, pico de gallo, a side of butter. The vegetables were well seasoned and flavorful. I got full off of the veggie fajitas with two tortillas. I didn't eat the side of butter, but gave it to my sister. This place is incredible. Every single time we have gone the food has been consistently good. The steak fajitas are out of this world. The staff is also always friendly. We came in for a late lunch/ early dinner on Sunday and the place was pretty busy. It was quite loud and kept getting louder. But it seems to go in stages in the afternoon and it did get (a little) quieter. We had appetizers. Hubby had hand made tamales (pork) and I had potato taquitos. So so so good. We shared a queso fundido, which was fantastic until we got our other appetizers which made it pale in comparison. Anne I was helpful, friendly and professional. Thank you Anne. Went for lunch today, Matt was our server and he was so nice! The hostess, Eliza who sat us, was also very polite! Chips and salsa were on point! We did have some of their green salsa, which I never had before, but was pretty good! It's Hatch Chile Pepper season, so we went with the hatch chile chicken tacos and the hatch chile pulled pork enchiladas. The chicken in the tacos was a little dry, but good. The enchiladas were amazing and definitely recommend! Keep the chips on the table while eating this because dipping the chips into the sauce is sooo good! The tortilla chips we got first for complimentary were a bit stale or old so I had to ask to get it switched out. The shrimp taco was good but just for 1, it was kinda pricy. The beef fajita sizzling platter was delicious! I like how the meat was very tender and even when it's medium rare. The onions that came with the platter were nicely sautéed. All the condiments were amazing as well. I have never tried a cajete before so this type of icecream style was very interesting. It came out cold and yummy: great for the warm weather! The meat was unflavored pot roast beef that I'm giving my honest review tasted like one of those pot roasts you get from a frozen tv dinner. The rice was flavorless, frijoles was absolutely flavorless! The guacamole had hard avocados in it. Also spent $28 on the shrimp diablo that was so overcooked the shell would not detach from the shrimp meat!! It was like shrimp chips!! Now the kids meals. Taking a Break from My Favorite Restaurant I had another lovely lunch at Pappasito's in Webster yesterday. Because the food and service are always excellent, my family and I dine in or order takeout at least twice a week at this location. We've also held countless family celebrations there, including graduation parties. Before leaving the restaurant yesterday, I took my usual trip to the ladies' room. To my utter disgust, there was a roach crawling on the wall. Unfortunately, this was not the first time I've seen a roach in that same restroom--I saw one several years ago and had hoped that management had taken appropriate measures to eliminate them. Needless to say, I felt sick after seeing the roach and tossed my leftovers as soon as I got home. I really hate that this happened, as no one wants to see this type of thing after a much-anticipated lunch with the girls. I truly love Pappasito's, the staff, and their impeccable service, but I'll need to take a break until they can resolve this issue. read more

What to say about this place. The serve is extremely good. Food is extremely overpriced and is a hit and miss on some dishes. One thing I avoid here is the chicken breast. It could be either very tender, or as tough as shoe leather, and during my visits here. More likely tough. Chips are thin, salsa is very mild suitable for white people. Mexican rice sucks, frijoles al charra is okay. Only way I come here is that someone else pays, other than that, I'm not motivated going here. read more

I found Pappasito's on Yelp as we were driving to grab dinner. I was looking for Mexican and fairly close and casual. First of all, the staff was incredibly welcoming and friendly. As soon as our waiter approached us to welcome us, he brought us a queso on the house since it was our first time, He went over the menu and pointed out some recommendations. We went with the Fajitas that he mentioned with the beef, sausage, and shrimp. There were the best fajitas I have ever had. The beef was so tender and flvvorful. The sausage was great, and I loved how the skin was crispy. The shrimp were huge and cooked in the shell. OMG! The tortillas are homemade and heavenly. The beans had amazing flavors as well as the rice. I do not typically order dessert when dining out, but once I found out they had homemade Tres Leaches, I had to try it. THE BEST I have had! The manager came over while we dined to welcome us as well and to check on everything. We had a great time dining at Pappasito's and we will be back for sure. Frankly, I rarely take much time yelping chain restaurants however in this case and relative to this restaurant, I think the time investment into a review well worth it. On two separate occasions now I have had an outstanding experience with the level of service the courtesy, the, promptness of the servers and weight staff that is so outstanding that I cannot imagine highly, highly recommending this particular Pappasito's to other yelpers. The food, as is the case with many Pappasito's is extremely reliable and fairly priced for the proportions received. The ambience is a carbon copy of all the Papasito's that I have ever been in certainly comfortable and quite enjoyable. Whoever the managers are of this particular, Pappasito are either very well trained or very well supervised, and they intern heaven spilled a sense of service into the weight staff. This is a wonderful dining experience and I would highly recommend, this particular Papasito's. read more

After discussing the two items I was considering with my neice (either chicken fajita taco and cheese enchilada or the chicken flauta and cheese enchilada), she said she loves the flautas! So, I ordered the chicken flauta and cheese enchilada lunch combo for $16.95. It is served with rice and beans. So cheesey and yummy!! Their salsa is the best. This was the absolute worst experience I've ever had at a pappasitos. Called about 6pm for a dinner reservation, got a reservation for 6:45, ended up waiting another half hour. The bathrooms were gross and had zero toilet paper. Our server was either a newbie or just literally had no idea what he was doing. The food here is absolutely delicious and the overall atmosphere is great -- perfect for enjoying a nice meal out. Our waiter did take our food and drink orders without issue, but unfortunately he wasn't very attentive after that. I completely understand that certain things, like food preparation and mixed drinks, take time and aren't in his control. However, he often walked past our table without checking in or clearing empty plates, which made the service feel a little lacking. What felt like 20 mins passed by every time he'd get our orders. It was a bit annoying :( We'll definitely be back, we just hope he wont be our waiter next time. It's been a minute since enjoying the cuisine of this well established restaurant and still is incredibly delectable. We started the afternoon off with the queso and red salsa and added the creamy avocado sauce. It's topped with a feta which just made the cool dip incredibly refreshing. For the entree we thoroughly enjoyed the shrimp brochette that is serve on a hot sizzling skillet and is always a family favorite. Accompanied with that were the awe inspiring seafood enchiladas.
