I haven't been to Chili's for a few years, and decided to stop by with the Family on a Sunday evening. Spent around $50. Ordered 2 of the" 3 for Me" and 3 Kids Meals and everyone was satisfied. Spent more than for some Burgers at the Habit a few days before. I wish Yelp would help us Check-In ahead of time. We wanted to go out for Valentine's but did not want to spend a fortune as I can cook a better meal for the most part when it comes to expensive meats. So, we decided to go to Chili's. I know, not the most romantic place but after being together for 46 years (high school sweethearts) we can make anything work. We both had the 3 for me and we both had the Crispy Chicken Sandwich with drinks along with it. The free chips and salsa is a great deal for being a Chili's member :) I wish the server's name was on our receipt as I could not see his name tag, but a HUGE shoutout to whoever served table 23 at 5:46 PM. He was OUTSTANDING! Super friendly and warm. Super service from him. He should be working at a higher-end establishment as he has all the customer-facing skills that make your night that much better. Our chips and salsa and drinks came very fast. As we were finishing those the salads came and as we were finishing those, our entrees came. It was as if someone was watching us and serving at the perfect moment. We loved what we thought was a honey mustard sauce along with tomato and onion and the sandwiches were on point delicious! Lady greeted us at check in was almost too matter-of-fact. No smile. she took us to a table and realized table was dirty. So she told us to wait and she wiped the table dorm. They're probably understaffed so our server took a while to come take our order. She's nicer than the one greeted us. We've been waiting a bit so we went ahead and ordered our food at the same time with water. Food came out in decent time. Everything in general is delicious. Overall it's a bit too salty. Several hours later as I'm writing this post, I'm so thirsty from the salty food. I have the Cajun pasta with shrimp. I don't usually eat much bread if at all, but this toasted bread is so delicious. Buttery and flavorful. Then we also have the chicken bacon quesadilla (and added avocado), delicious! And we also have the chicken tender with various sauce. We splurged and also got the chocolate molten lava cake, so good!!! Ambiance looks nice. But the hard wall makes the restaurant so live and loud with everyone talking. I normally never ever leave bad reviews on a restaurant but this lady, I am assuming she was a worker because she kept going back and forth from the dining area to the kitchen. She was an older woman wearing a Dallas Cowboys Jersey and had a sort of balayage hair. We were in the bathroom at the same time. I was washing my hands because they were sticky and dirty and I have contamination OCD. She came out of the stall and finished washing her hands before me. Ew, but thats not even the point. She says on her way out of the bathroom "Don't waste water, it's a commodity." Have come here quite a few times very ordinary nothing to complain about but today was totally different. Got a very simple order of soup and a burger (x2) with the hopes of both burgers being well done as requested. Mine came out super pink once I cut it in half and saw it I was instantly disgusted. Server came to retrieve my burger and let me keep my fries (which were extremely salty btw) and instead of having the cooks make a fresh burger for me, they put the same patty on higher heat which made the outside burnt and the inside still pink. One starts going to the great ranch they have. I ordered the Big Dipper comes with wings, little burgers and eggrolls. I also ordered Texas fries. The fries were legit hard as a rock. Cooked to the core. Wasn't enjoyable at all. Food was cold and a huge disappointment. They also forgot my regular fries even after I called them to double check and make sure my order is right before putting it in the bag. Hey, it's your friendly neighborhood restaurant, Chili's! As a former Diamond Bar resident, I used to frequent this Chili's back in my college days when I was out with friends. I will say that this location is very, very convenient because it's on the corner of a 4-way street and literally near the freeway entrance and exit. Chili's is always a great place to grab some drinks, some Tex-Mex inspired dishes, and enjoy with good company. Decided to stop in and check out their $10.99 Smashburger deal. I decided to get the soup. Baked potato. The soup was excellent!! I thought the burger was going to be small. The ten dollar deal is actually a pretty good deal, and the two for twenty two is also a pretty good option. If I'm spending ten+ dollars for food, if feel like this is the best possible option. Their ribs are great, the steak is solid (cooked well usually and quality is not bad for the price). Awful experience, straight up laughable how their manage this restaurant. Went to eat on a weekday night and there were multiple drunk regulars at the bar. Literally flying a drone inside, crashing into things multiple things. This went on for a while in plain view of the bar staff until a manager seemed to finally come out and try to stop the guy flying the drone. The bar staff booed the manager and said "here comes the fun police". A little bit later an older drunk man went up behind me and started poking my shoulder and then trying to hide on the opposite side of which ever shoulder he poked like a f&cking child. He was slurring his words pretty bad and you couldn't understand what he was saying. STOP ENCOURAGING this type of behavior! Another trip to Chili's, yum! I got the Pick 3 items, you can get a Beer or Margarita for $2.49 extra (yes, I got the Margarita on the rocks. I wasn't driving home). I picked chicken fajitas and side salad. The portions are big (just finished my leftover the next day), I think they gave me 5 flour tortillas. Nicely grilled bellpeppers (red and green) nd onions. Chicken is lightly seasoned, which I liked. Black beans in a cup (thank you - doesn't make my rice soggy). I am on their rewards so we got endless chips/salsa. Salsa is smooth and has this wonderful taste, it's not too spicy but just enough to make you want more. The staff are very friendly and very hard workers. When you have to get up and get your own to go box after waiting for your waitress to bring it, then you know what kind of service this place provides. Our waitress had no problem attending to her friends at the table next to us though, chatting and looking at pictures on their phones. Horrible. Sadly under-performing part of the chain. Of the hundreds of Chili's I have visited across the country, this is near the bottom for cleanliness, food quality and staff professionalism. We ordered a cheeseburger and fries, and the half-rib plate, accompanied by a couple draft beers, pretty standard fare for this type of chain. The hamburger was raw in the middle (waited 20 minutes for a second raw hamburger) and the waiter just shrug his shoulders and said "I don't know why it's taking so long, I don't know why the burger is raw, I don't know why the fries are cold" and wait, it gets better, "We don't have a manager here, you can leave your name and number and some one can call you in a few days". The tables around us were dirty and the silverware we had (and the second set) had crusty food on them. Getting simple things like a clean fork was a challenge for the wait staff. There were only a few people in the place, and numerous employees gathered at the entrance to the kitchen, playing on phones, yet no one could manage to refill the warm draft beer or clean up the spill from a screaming baby sitting with a family a few booths over. Had to go to the little pile of employees to get the check, they clearly didn't have adult supervision present, as they didn't seem to equate performance with a paycheck, but had the nerve to remind me to enter a tip amount on the check. Zero, well earned. The following hours were met with bad stomachs for both of us, we will not go back - paid for meals we didn't enjoy that were clearly prepared with a minimum of effort or attention to safe food handling standards. My Friday routine is to order a bowl of chili with all the toppings, and a house salad with balsamic dressing. To drink, iced tea with lemon. After I redeem my points for a free drink, the bill is around 12 bucks with tip. Such a deal. I can browse the web on the wi-fi , or read my E-book. Haven't gone to Chili's restaurant for the longest time. Whenever driving by or going to Target wanting to go. But kept putting aside for next time and next time... but today after watching TV series about baby back ribs, I had a craving. So decided to order full rack of original baby back ribs & chicken wings w/ bone in. ( honey chipotle) w/ ranch sauce. It was easy to order online. Date of visit: July 22, 2018 It had been a long drive back from San Diego Comic-Con, and prior to dropping off my girlfriend at her place, she recommended that we head to Chili's for some dinner - especially as they had a 3 for $10 special going on (one appetizer, one beverage, and an entrée from a particular list to choose from). Plus, once we arrived, it was all day happy hour at the bar area (meaning half-price appetizers on Sundays)... and as I'm a Chili's Rewards Club member, I also could get free chips and salsa! Anyways, since we got the free chips and salsa, I added to that by getting an order of guacamole to go along with it. For our appetizers, I got a bowl of chili and my lady got a salad. And for the entrees, I got their Bacon Burger, while she got their Bacon Ranch Chicken Quesadillas. Everything was delicious - while the chili didn't have any beans, the beef was pretty meaty and not too spicy. The burger was cooked medium well and came out the way I liked it, and Kathy was pleased with how her quesadillas tasted. The guacamole had the right mix of creamy and chunky to it; in fact, since the chips filled us up, we had lots of leftovers for the following day's lunches. Total price for both of us (minus tip): $22 = SCORE! Service was pretty attentive - our server came around every so often to make sure our drinks were refilled. Par for the course, given how busy the bar area was that evening. My wife and I have been long time patron's of Chili's Diamond Bar. I have especially enjoyed their chili and hamburgers. However, the last four or five times in the past year I noticed the chili has been very salty, so salty it is unhealthy. I generally like certain food on the salty side, but the recent chili I have ordered has been way too salty. I have complained to the waiters and waitresses, and they said they no longer have control over the making of their chili at their restaurant as the chili is now being made at some central location for the restaurant chain. I had to replace the chili with something else that I had no original intention of eating. Tonight the hamburger I ordered had no onion. I asked the waitress for some slice onion. She indicated that they recently stopped providing sliced onion and now only chopped onion, which doesn't hold together with the other ingredients in the hamburger. The chopped onion she provided falls out when I bite into the hamburger. To me, a hamburger without onion doesn't taste like a true hamburger. I would go somewhere else for a good hamburger that uses sliced onion. The waitress was sympathetic and understanding, and service was great as usual. But corporate management seemed out of touch with their customers and the people who actually serve the customers. So now, unless things change, I will likely have to forego Chili's as most favorite food items are no longer draw me to eat there. read more

We don't have a lot to choose from in Diamond Bar so I was happy to see this Restaurant is open for indoor dining again and all I can is "Wow"! I sat in the bar area and my server/bartender was Frank. He was very friendly and attentive. I felt comfortable right away. Relatively low calorie meal as well so definitely a good choice. Chicken Fajitas came with ample Fajitas, chicken was slightly dry, but acceptable. Service: a little lacking. This place is super busy, they don't really come by much after they take your order and give you the food. No water refills. Check out through the touch screen pad om the table.
