I normally have a great time at this restaurant. We come once a month and sit in bar area. However this time on Wednesday 5/13/26 was different. The waitress at the bar area was not very professional, we ordered a drink and our food ask for wings and the meat trio I had to ask for napkins and cutlery. The wings we ask for extra sauce in the side and the wings came with no sauce on them but 2 small cups of sauce also asked for the street corn 3x never got it. My beer went empty and took her 10 min to ask if I want another one. She kept taking to the man at the end about how she got here drivers license suspended at the age of 16. Another patron came and sat to the right of us and all she did was move the plates that were there and sat there didn't even clean the spot for him. we like to go to the Chili's in Appleton and have had a few different waiters and waitresses and we have had the luck of having Tim a little older gentleman l through our talks with him he is in his 60's and he is one of the Best Waiters we have ever had anywhere, he makes the experience so much better dinning there,,, they are lucky to have him, the food is good and a great price as well, we get the 3 for me specials where we go there, you get a great tasting burger fries and soup or salad, an soda all for $11 dollars,, and if you sign up with there rewards program you get free chips an salsa every time you go there too,,, l highly recommend Appleton Chili's for a good time... read more

I recently stopped at chili's for an evening dinner with my friends. Expecting a nice night i wasn't worried about price. I was asked if i wanted chips and salsa as an appetizer so i agreed. I asked if they had queso and she said she can bring it out with the chips. I was under no impression this would be an upcharge. I ordered, I ate food was okay at best. Me and my friends saw the dessert on a side menu and thought they looked good. A mini cake and a slice of pie. Surely those are reasonably priced right? 10 dollars. 10 dollars for a slice of pie and 10 dollars for a mini chocolate cake. My server was awesome and the environment was welcoming; however, they failed to properly display their prices on the menu and to the customer. I feel people will be incredibly shook when they see their bill just as i was. I could have gotten 13 stackers at taco bell for the price i paid here for chips and a mini cake. outrageous pricing, good service. would recommend if you are incredibly wealthy. read more

He is always attentive and very good, coming by frequently to check on things but not so much where he was hovering. The hostess was super kind and welcoming! We got seated and everything was going well. Our waiter was friendly at first, but later he made a few comments that made us feel unwelcome and uncomfortable for showing up to the restaurant for dinner. The restaurant doesn't close until 10pm and we showed up around 8:30pm, but the waiter made us feel rushed to order, eat, and leave. We were practically the only customers there, so we didn't understand the rush. Food was great, but not the service. Then as we were heading out the door to leave, one waitress shouted out "have a good night, or NOT!" It was such a weird experience. Will not return for dine-in. Here's a first for me: Michael S (manager on duty) kicked us out today and created a very uncomfortable situation with my young kids. They only had 1 server on shift (I get it, staffing is complicated lately), and we were quoted an hour wait to be seated. On my way back from the restroom I asked the takeout staff: "This might not be allowed, and that'd be fine, but could we order takeout and sit at one of the open booths," since a ton of the nearby booths were empty. The lady cheerfully said "absolutely!" and so we went that route. We reconfirmed the plan 2 more times with her while we ordered, but when the food came out we weren't more than 3 bites in when Michael/manager rudely and aggressively told us to "leave now" and when we tried to explain the situation he threatened to call the cops. The manager continued to escalate his words and posture (including berating an 11 year old with us) even as we agreed that we would leave and were packing up. It was awkward, unnecessary, and the opposite of the friendly customer service we have experienced at this chain previously, all because Michael/manager did not choose the route of "seek first to understand, then to be understood." read more

Sat in the bar area which was cold from the door being opened constantly. Waitress took over 10 minutes to come back to take our order. Our food took about 40 minutes. I have been a steady customer of Chili's for years. Unfortunately, their food has been in decline recently. The restaurants in Pueblo,CO are horrendous. It seems that people are using Covid as an excuse to produce a shoddy product. This includes my recent experience in Shreveport,LA. The burger patty was NOT well formed. Went here on the night of a snowstorm so there weren't many people in here, so we decided to sit in the bar. First and foremost, the chips and salsa and quest dip are a must!!! ALWAYS!!! We can make a meal out of that!! I decided to order a bloody mary, boy was I glad I did! It has the best rim salt, (its actually the seasoning they use in burgers and on their fries). So So good! Decided with the loaded crispers. Altho they were good and mu husband really likes them I wish i would have ordered them plain. The ingredients on top took away from their crispy goodness. We went here on a Sunday night, every other restaurant in the area had a long wait time. Sat in the bar with our group of 5. The bartender/ waitress was very nice and efficient. The chips and salsa were amazing! I ordered the ribs, and they were the best ribs ever. Not a lot on the half rack, so now I know how good they are, I'll get a full rack next time. My friend got the chicken tenders with a cob of corn. The tenders were wet and barely cooked enough, the corn cob was terrible. My wife's fajita was good, margarita was good. My husband, daughter and I came here directly from another restaurant last night after receiving such poor service that we requested a bill for our drinks and walked out. We both enjoy the food at Chili's, so decided that would be a good backup. The woman who seated us, and our server Tommy, were absolutely fantastic. The service was excellent in every way, the food was good, and they never made us feel like "people with kids" like a lot of places do when you dine out with a toddler. If you are looking for sub mediocrity, you have found it. I drove 30 minutes to be greatly disappointed by the bad food and lack of service. It would be under exaggerated to call my food greasy, you are better off licking the floor of a McDonald's kitchen. The chicken crispers tasted as if they came out of a microwave that hasn't been cleaned since... ever. One would think that a chain restaurant would be able to give chips to go, after dining and paying, as if they're loosing money. I ordered bottomless chips I should get as much as I want. There were chunks of food that would take a good scraping to come up. A very visible film dulled everything and was evident to my eyes, even without my much needed glasses. The small touch screen computer on the table reminded my of my touch phone after a 3 year old had played on it for an hour. Sticky, germy, crunchy, gross! I imagined the sticky menus were no less filthy than that touch screen. Our seats showed dirt and grime spots on them and my hand stuck to it when I pushed down on the cushion. Every thing I have mentioned is easily washed. All staff was friendly and accommodating but clearly not trained in cleanliness. read more

Awesome experience. Went and had a great meal with my son. After meal I realized that I had left my wallet at home. Offered to leave my phone as collateral while I went home (4 miles away). Manager was called. Tim came to our table and said it was not a problem and that it had happened to him before after a busy day. It's your standard Chili's. If you have been to one anywhere in America you know what to expect. The staff is consistently good, and the chips and salsa are the best around. I mean, it's Chili's. Food is not world class by any measure. But the servers, host, and manager actually care. That's two stars by itself. Food takes literally no time to come out, usually in and out of the restaurant within 45 minutes, which is crazy fast for not fast food. One star there. And when consistency is preferred (chips, salsa, and quest, deep fried pickles and southwestern egg rolls) you keep me coming back. Reasonably poured and priced drinks tie everything together. But my God, change the chicken tenders. The sauce is actually really good, smoky and sweet, but the chicken is inedible. And the French fries are terrible, too. A+ for the staff, solid B- for the food you know and trust, and F for not coming just for apps and drinks. read more

My wife ordered fries with her burger and they tasted like they were a day old. I will give the manager credit as he comped our full tab and gave me some gift cards for my trouble. I will give our waitress credit. As soon as I complained, she immediately got the manager. I think she could tell I was not in a mood for a discussion.
