I came here for lunch on a weekday and it wasn't super busy. There was a party going on for some senior citizens but otherwise it was pretty dead. Service was quick. I ordered 1/2 order of boneless wings with the chippers with onion dip. Delicious. Great price too. Cost me a whole $10. read more

Horrible, can't remember the last time the whole meal was bad!!! But the perch wasn't cooked, the batter was still wet! The baked potato was black in areas and the rest was brown. The coleslaw was warm and it was 3/4 cup of liquid-gross. The topper was a molded half wet roll. Please save your $$$ go anywhere else! read more

Very good food and service!! Clean place, dinning room is big and there pizza buffet is good!!!

Arrived at 4pm never had been there in the past, it's a great venue, tons of tvs, stage for a band. Ordered old fashions, and they were the tall glasses. Mixed well. I ordered the philly steak sandwich, it was very good, also had the cheesy broccoli soup which was also quite tasty. Others in our group had a club wrap, with home made chips, French dip with fries, salmon. They had a nice menu with lots of choices from steak to lasagna, appetizers, and more. Wait staff was also great, very attentive, checked back multiple times for drinks and to see how everything tasted. It's a rather large venue, so it was a bit loud, but other than that would highly recommend. read more

The Stone Toad is a big restaurant with lots of TVs, a large bar and lots of tables for bigger groups. Great place to watch a sporting event and grab some food. On weekends it seems to be the place for parents and kids traveling to town for sporting events. The food is your usual bar type food. I had the chicken wrap and it was pretty average and kind of dry. I did like the Tater Tots however. A couple of people in my group had the burgers and they were probably the best thing served on my table. They looked pretty good! Only had a few waitresses working on a busy Saturday lunch crowd, but they moved pretty quick and the food came out in a decent amount of time. This restaurant is definitely a great choice as a sports bar and probably a good choice if you have a group with some kids. Can be a bit busy and loud, so if your looking for that type of atmosphere, maybe try another place. read more

This place has dropped way down hill. They've managed to become slower at everything... I'm not eating at country side am I? Their bartenders would rather eye bang eachother than take drink or food orders. The food is all over in quality. If they are busy... your chips will be dipped in the fryer and pulled immediately leaving you a disgusting sloppy mess as your side. Enjoy! This place absolutely sucks. read more

Just had Easter buffet. NOT WORTH IT!!! Way over priced for what they offered and then automatic gratuity of 20% when the server brought us only water once and didn't even pick up the dirty plates. Then charge us for using a CC. They have now lost a customer. read more

Went after boys basketball game for dinner and had the best waitress and table service. The food was delicious and very large portions. will definitely be back when in the area. Highly recommend this restaurant. read more

Ordered the French dip and it was served at room temperature not warm! I mentioned it to waitress and she brought me a new one which was great. It does not come with cheese so I was disappointed- make sure to add it if like that. Service was great the food was mediocre. I'll try something different next time. read more

I ordered the green monster burger their top advertised burger, was a little bit disappointed but my hopes where not that high in the first place, I was here maybe about 5 years ago and it was pretty good as I can remember. The burger was a little under done since I ordered medium rare. I give the burger a 7.5/10 and the seating about a 5/10 there was a 3-4 year old who was a little loud but the tables where something you would use to put your stuff on for a rummage sale. The fries were the high point done pretty well. Service was pretty good though. read more

Picked up a to go order. Friendly staff & food was very good. I particularly like their homemade chips.

Worst chicken ever. It was literally days (key word days) old. It smelled old. Disgusting.

We had a funeral in our family recently and only had a few days to find a place to have a meal afterwards. I called Sone Toad and they said it was absolutely doable. Everyone said the chicken and sides were very good. We chose a buffet and they kept the food coming fresh and hot. Very friendly staff also. Would absolutely recommend them for a banquet for any occasion. read more

This is a pretty great bar if you are meeting up with lots of people. The bar area is really large and you can hear the live music pretty much anywhere in the place. They have table service if you grad a table and they also have bartenders slinging drinks. Food- Food is a step above your typical bar/restaurant food but nothing to get excited about. The prices are pretty decent though so they have that going for them. Drinks- They have a full bar and can pretty much make any drink. They also have beer on tap along with bottles of beer. They have a pretty great selection of beers and even will make Moscow Mules that are pretty tasty and they serve them in a copper mug. Service- Service is OK. Came on a Saturday night so of course its busier than normal but we were not checked on that often and it was quicker to pay cash at the bar when we needed drinks. Overall this is a decent bar to get a drink and some food with friends. Its even better if you have to meet up with a big group as its a nice large place. read more

Wasn't really expecting much and got so much more. The Cowboy burger was amazing. Done just the way I like it. Then for an added bonus the entertainment was great. Jed Tuyls by far one of the best performers in the Valley was performing. Thanks for making my wife's birthday special. read more

This was our first time trying Stone Toad. We ordered carry out and the process was very smooth. I went in to pick up the order and was extremely impressed with the room inside and the table spacing. I would have no problem going back and eating inside during this trying time. I ordered the fried haddock tacos and my wife ordered the French dip and fries. We both loved the dishes. The fish tacos with the pico de Gallo and cabbage were amazing. We will definitely be going back and trying more items on their menu. read more

This place is ok. They tend to bait and switch a lot. They will print coupons in the news paper and then not accept them. It's really annoying you will show up there with the coupon and then they'll have a sign that says they no longer accept them. By that time you're already there and have no choice but to eat there. read more

Friendly staff and great service. Food is consistently great. Very accommodating for parties or get-togethers. Decent bands every weekend during the cold months. read more

Very nice place but clearly understaffed. We sat at a table near the bar and waited about 15 minutes, finally went to the bar to get her own drinks. Waiter stopped as we were getting drinks to ask if we wanted food and we said no not at that time. We had about six other people join us, all of them had to go to the bar to get their drinks. Over the course of 3 hours the waiter never stopped to ask if we needed drinks or food. I understand being understaffed but he walked by us numerous times and completely ignored us. We also noticed that most the tables around us were doing the same thing, just going and getting their own drinks. Really too bad because we generally tip really well but we couldn't get any service. read more

Took an hour to get a drink and then band ended 1/2 hour earlier than advertised. Don't bother.

Great food...love the chippers! Wonderful service...very friendly. Excellent entertainment too.

Went to enjoy some drinks live music & drinks this past weekend. We ordered some Vodka (Absolute) drinks one with Cranberry & one with lemonade, they tasted extremely watered down. Went back & ordered 2 more and they tasted the same. No buzz whatsoever after 2 drinks so we decided to try another vodka (Grey Goose) & same situation watered vodka. We told the bartender these drinks are watered down & got really nasty with us, we asked for the manager and he said go find the guy in red then took off saying some very unkind words. Very disappointed with this place we frequent often with friends, going to find another place that doesn't water down their drinks (vodka) & has friendlier customer service. read more

Irs not a bad place the only reason i give it 3 is because most times its packed and theres not that many waiters

The building is very spacious inside. Our waiter was very helpful and attentive to our needs. The menu has a wide range of options, and each of the items we ordered were fresh and delicious. As a side note, this is also a great venue to catch some live music. read more

I went there Wednesday night, sat at a table and waited to place my order. 45 minutes later I walked out after not one employee would wait on me. It had nothing to due with being short staffed - they had plenty of employees. As I was leaving I talked with a manager and told her what happened - she asked what they could do to make it right? Really? She should of thought of that 45 minutes earlier. When a customer sits at a table that probably means they want to place an order and eat. I will Never go there again. read more

This place includes a large bar area as well as a restaurant / banquet hall area. When you enter, you are immediately in the bar. Lots of seating at both the bar as well as outside tables. Many TVs in the bar area. We were there during a football game. The TVs are turned up very loud. Do not expect to have any conversation. Not sure if that is their standard volume. The restaurant area is basically a banquet area where they set up folding tables to serve meals. They have a special Saturday and Sunday menu. Sunday's menus includes a 4 piece chicken dinner as well as personal pizzas. read more

My two adult sons and I stopped in for lunch this week. Really good food and friendly service. Each of us had a different burger and found it very good. The staff was attentive but not overbearing. My Girlfriend and I stumbled upon the Stone Toad for the first time on Christmas Day 2011. Had a great time, enjoyed the food, drink, and the service. We knew that we would return to the area someday and would be coming back to the Stone Toad for sure. Fast forward 3 years...My now Wife and I find ourselves in The Stone Toad on another Christmas Day. As we sit enjoying our food and beverage we are speaking about how familiar the bar tender looks to us. She must have been there 3 years prior. Come to find out in speaking with her later that night, she had been in the kitchen telling her Mother how she recognized the couple out front. Three years and as friendly as ever. I hope she is there when we come back again. We will be back and the Stone Toad is on our to do list. read more

I've gone here a few times and have not been impressed with several things. Their "boneless wings" are absolutely horrible. Oddly though, 2 of the things I've tried, the chicken nachos appetizer and the perch fish sandwich, are both the BEST I've ever had. They also have amazing cheesecake. Service, except for this last time, has always been very good. read more
