They never clean the grill that all the burgers and chicken are cooked on; has black layers on it

    Old fashion sour.

Came for fish on a Friday night. The atmosphere and beer selection are top notch. I really like the inside of this bar/restaurant combo. It is a little crammed in here so a larger group may be harder to seat here. We sat at the bar and I ordered the special of pan fried Haddock and coleslaw. I opted out on the fries thinking that the coleslaw would come in a larger portion. More on that later. The old fashions here are really good and tart. I like all the garnishes on them that you can get. When my food came I had a small piece of fish and about 1/4 cup of coleslaw. I was confused with the portion size and so was my husband. He asked about it and they told me that was the normal side portion. It was really strange because then they brought me another little cup out slightly larger than the last. I think I would come back here for drinks but the portion sizes leave something to be desired for the price point.

Before this place opened it was George Street Connections, and before that George Street Cafe. It was one of my favorite bars in De Pere, but they just couldn't get people there. I don't think that will be a problem with the revival of Chatterhouse as it used to be a supper club decades ago, and the new owners brought that back in the same building. The owners completely did a 180 on this place as the bar is where the dining area used to be, and most of the tables are where the bar use to be. Big bar, with big TVs, and some great signs about cocktails and drinking. Came here on a Friday night with friends. It was fairly busy, and plenty of staff. Our server seemed a little overwhelmed. The service wasn't that bad, it's just she would come for one thing, and realized she forgot something, apologized and then leave, and would come back and repeat steps 1 through 3. I'm not upset, but it just seems like they still have some kinks to work out. I ordered a a 614 Steak Sandwich. It wasn't anything exciting, but I did enjoy it. I noticed after a couple my sandwich was just meat, cheese, more meat, and bread. I realized there was no lettuce, tomatoes, or onions. I guess I just assumed it would be on there, but the server didn't even ask me if wanted anything else on the sandwich. Once again, it was just little things that were missed. This is a great addition for the downtown De Pere area, as it makes a great dinner spot, and I do think it will get better. I think I'm going to to try this place again a few months down the road.

Well done not med rare not effort on the cook's part. Waitress was ok...

It was right on the way home to Milwaukee, we wanted to head out of the city since there was a Packer Game ending shortly after we left. It was a quaint little brewery in a strip mall, nice and clean inside with cool brewery signs covering the walls. Surprisingly the place was empty, which worked nicely for us! We had our pick of tables and got to catch the end of the game too. We had our 2 toddlers with us and the guys working were super sweet to them. They have a small kids menu that did the job (grilled cheese an a burger for the kiddos) - it came with organic chocolate milk, fries and fruit snacks; quite a good value! My husband and I shared the fried chicken sandwich and their spicy burger - their main menu items were gourmet burgers. Personally, I really enjoyed the chicken, it was fried perfectly and had great flavor. Overall it was a super quick and convenient stop with a lot of nice beer options on tap if that's your thing.

The cashier looked impatient and he was terribly difficult to both hear and understand; placing my order was made awkward and trying because of the low-quality employee behind the counter. The burger I purchased was not as flavorful as a Culver's burger and certainly had far less meat for a far greater price. Similarly, the chicken tenders taste similar to a Culver's tender but are even more bland than a Culver's tender. When my order was presented at the counter for me to pick-up, instead of delivered to my table as Culver's will do, I found my order incorrect. There were toppings missing from my burger and not placed on the side, as requested. Culver's doesn't make mistakes like this. Everything about this experience was bad. Do not go here. Go to Culver's, or eat at home.

We have eaten at several other Freddy's locations and thought the place was excellent, but would suggest that people never go here!

Fortunately we were rewarded with a pleasant experience that was light on the wallet (for 2020s standards) and made us fans. Don't be fooled by the exterior/interior as it may give a cabin-like feeling when you're around. The staff are diligent in making the tables clear while getting orders ready. They only had two people working who both were doing the cooking, phone orders, in-person orders, and cleaning/bussing. Talk about a do-it-all crew. Now for the eats. I ordered a bowl of booyah and some cheese curds while pops had a plain burger. My first time having booyah, it reminds me of brunswick stew; tons of chicken, potatoes, vegetables, beans, in a thick tomato broth. Tons of flavor and quite filling, there's a reason why they sell quarts of this for tailgating and the cold stay-at-home days. I would dip my cheese curds in here which were also tasty. Right fried texture with a good cheese pull, dip it in the booyah for some of that salty consistency. Talk about a food-cheat code! My pops burger was cooked a perfect medium-rare and for only $6, was quite a bargain. This will be on the rotation whenever I'm in Green Bay for the Booyah and to try other items like their poutine and fried cod dinners. Booyahkasha!

The restaurant has a modern feel with an upscale vibe. Views are nice through the large windows looking out on the patio and the Fox river. Service was quick, very friendly and efficient. Drink orders were taken immediately and an appropriate amount of time was given to make our dining choices. We ordered Argentinian Red Shrimp ceviche ($16), caramelized Brussels sprouts ($14) and pesto fries ($12) as appetizers. Each order was large enough to share with our group. Taste was outstanding for all, but the Brussels sprouts were to die for. Several in our party had a cup of clam chowder ($5), again very tasty, with a bit of a spicy kick. Dinner orders included the Friday deep fried perch dinner that included green beans and fries ($21), a shrimp po boy sandwich ($19), blackened shrimp tacos that came with rice ($18), grilled blt salad ($16), the OC burger ($17) and a 5oz steak filet ($30) cooked as ordered. Everyone enjoyed their dinners, no one was disappointed. We had a variety of cocktails during our meal, too many and varied to list here but all were priced as you would expect in any good restaurant. All in all this was an amazing experience, can't speak highly enough about The OC. Just wish I lived a bit closer, would be a place I'd frequent often.
