Great food and great sitting outside on the patio, with the view of the Fox River.Definitely going back for more food and beer!

The attitude of the entire wait staff sucks beyond approach. Heaven forbid you actually might ask their opinion on one day f the choices of food, can't even recommend one even if they are completely different read more

Conveniently located at the Fox River Mall. We had lunch here a couple of days ago. Great ambiance. Awesome service and reasonably priced given the quality of food and the portion size. I went with the perch and fries. The fish was flakey, sweet and moist. The fries were cooked well, crispy and seasoned deliciously. read more

Tried it out after our morning trip to Sam's club. Food was very good, I had the pizza shown. My wife had the Captain Crunch chicken tenders and fries. Server was very attentive and kept drinks full. A huge plus in my book. We will be back again. read more

The food was delicious and very filling. However, I have never experienced where the entire wait staff failed to smile and came off as irritated with everything. read more

Overpriced. Went and got the Wagyu burger, chicken alfredo, cheese curds, and a few drinks and was charged $135. Truly ridiculous how much Fox River Brewing overcharges for their unseasoned chicken, well done burgers, and shitty beer. Will not be coming back. read more

Party of two, seated 1:15 pm on a Wednesday. Not busy, maybe five tables seated. Server and service was good, nothing her fault. I had cheeseburger with fries. Fries were less than warm, I'd say cool. Burger was large but not good. Over well done, they did not ask how I like it, seemed cooked previously then heated by microwave. It was not good at all. My wife had shrimp tacos, again not even warm. Ingredients thrown into shells and 3 shrimp set on top. Not good. We would for sure never eat here again based on this experience. After we ordered I'd say the food was at our table in less than 5 minutes, but neither meal was warm enough to believe it was just cooked. Food was really below average. We both felt like we wasted this going out for lunch meal. Live and learn. read more

We went for lunch while visiting the mall. Our group had a pepperoni pizza, shrimp platter and tuna poke bowl. All were so good! We tried a couple beverages and the Fox Around and Find Out hard iced tea and lemonade was a winner. We bought a 6-pack to come home. Staff was friendly. Is a little pricier for food but overall a good experience. read more

I have been going there a long time! Foods good drinks are good the ambiance is very good!!

Dirty restaurant, bland food. Low quality tasteless chicken. The only thing I enjoyed was the hard Arnold Palmer beverage

Absolutely love the patio!! This was my first time the food was really good. Had the brisket tacos so good. My daughter had a burger. Love the bobber choices on draft. Great place to sit on a nice hot day or evening. read more

So. Great bar staff. Among the best anywhere. Wine. Way way overpriced. Food. Good. But even more overpriced. And, they got rid of the best overpriced salad that has cranberries, apples, feta etc. Now all salads are completely savory. And frankly, $20 for a basic chicken Caesar salad. Not $20 good. So I like the location and the people. But the salad choice albeit overpriced was still go to. Now it's gone and so am I. Mostly. read more

This is one of the most unpleasant lunch experiences I've had in a long time. The place felt dirty. The air was wet and heavy, and the air conditioning was clearly turned off. The rest of the mall was fine. My feet stuck to the floor and to the carpet. Our waitress was surly. I had to get up and ask for a refill on my soda because the check backs were so infrequent. It's almost like having customers was an inconvenience to her day. And the food - not awesome. My friends fish was burnt - how do you burn fish fry in Wisconsin? My prime rib dip was on a Kaiser roll that didn't fit into the dip cup. The meat was shredded and the bread was dry. $100 for a nasty lunch in a nasty place with a nasty waitress? Never again. I usually give places a second chance. But not this place. read more

I loved the white chili soup. It really hits the spot on a cold January night. Also had the pot stickers but the white chili stole the show.

Had lunch while shopping at the Fox Valley mall. The place seems nice but needs a good cleaning. A little smelly as if the floor was mopped with dirty water and the floors were sticky. That being said, our food was really good. The salad was standard Caesar but the cheese curds were delicious. I shared some of the pasta from my sons Mac n cheese and it was delicious. He liked the chicken and the Fritos that were in it as well. read more

They have very delicious cheese curds that we would highly recommend. I very much enjoyed the BLU Bobber beer. My husband ordered a flight and enjoyed all of them, however the cinnamon vanilla was super unique and tasty. I ordered the Bam Bam Shrimp tacos and he ordered the Margarita pizza both of which were quite good as well. We will definitely be back again while we are working in Wisconsin. read more

Hit or miss. If you go to Fox River Brewing when it's busy, the food will be hot, the service will be fast, and the atmosphere will be fun and lively. Recently, we went during a weekday evening when the place wasn't busy. The staff spent more time chatting with one another, while letting guests wait for service. They seem bothered to have to interact with customers. For our food, the fries were served COLD and the food looked like it had been re-heated. The server never asked us "how is the food" because she probably knew it was bad and wanted to avoid hearing the answer. Hit or miss. read more

Good but not great. Crispy chicken tenders were very good and accompanying fries were good. As a brewery, my primary consideration is the quality of the beer. Blue Bobber is a popular beer, but really didn't impress me. I would have preferred more beer options than I saw. Aside from that, I think the place could use a good cleaning. Staff was friendly and made for an overall good experience. read more

The staff is wonderful and the waitress my family and I had was super kind. Unfortunately, I wish I could say more about the food. We ordered a good mix of food, the highlights would have to be the cheese curds and the pretzels, however the cheese for the pretzels was runny and not very flavorful. They made the burger and fries very good as well. I ordered the chicken mac n cheese, it was relatively good but fairly flavorless and I had to add in a lot of my own salt and pepper at the table. The cheese really didn't add much flavor at all. The fish from the fish and chips was slimy and didn't seem like it was fried at a high enough temperature . The cream of broccoli soup tasted like it was only flavored with pepper and was very runny for a cream soup. I'd say that if you need a spot for good service, they workers are amazing. However the food was a bit lackluster. read more

I came here with a work group of 15 for lunch on a Thursday. We made a reservation, arrived right at 11, and were seated immediately. Our group came in slowly - the waitress was great, bringing out more water and checking on us every time someone new joined our table. She was very attentive! We ordered 3 appetizers- spinach & artichoke dip, cheese curds, and pretzels. All were delicious and came with enough food to share with the whole table. All 15 of us ordered different items from the menu - this place is great for large groups. The menu has a wide range of items that will satisfy any picky eater or someone who wants to be a little more "adventurous". I ordered the crunch chicken tenders from the app menu - so delicious, affordable, and a great serving size! We put in our food order at 11:30 and had our food about 20 min later. Not a single ranch cup or drink was forgotten or incorrect - we were all very impressed with the great kitchen and wait service! This location has the same menu (with some added items) as the Fratellos location in downtown Appleton. This location is more casual - it is located in the mall. Good for groups or happy hour, but if you're looking for a more intimate setting, I'd go to the downtown location. read more

Came here tonight for some good brews. I tried the buzzin' honey ale, which was crisp and lightly sweet. The menu recommends different beers for different plates, which was very helpful. Friends opinions of their dishes: Crunch salad: really big, good dressing, wished there was more crunch chicken, which was pretty tasty. Asian chicken tacos: okay, chicken was a dry, a little bland. Salsa was alright, chips a little stale. Milano mushroom pizza: pretty good, some mushrooms undercooked, crispy crust. Beef and shroom burger: nothing special, not worth it. Barbecue bacon cheesy burger: overall, pretty good. Barbecue sauce very tangy, definitely cheesy. Service was good, server very friendly. Good atmosphere. Offered a very wide selection of beers. read more

Place felt dingy. Ordered white chicken chili and it was served lukewarm. Asked to have it heated up which, for reasons I don't understand, took literally 10 minutes. It was not a busy night! The chili was not any warmer than before but the edge of the plate was smeared and gross. Beer was ok. Grilled cheese sandwich was super greasy and we were not asked about our choice of side. Fries were not good, way too greasy. Not impressed at all, would not return or recommend. Definitely overpriced for the subpar food. read more

Only thing for lunch was the cold beer. Food is not good and definitely not worth the price they charge.

Came for the "legendary chicken tenders" but was unfortunately experienced the upmost disappointment when I bit into the tender. It unfortunately had a soggy inner breading which was extremely gross. Would not recommend these even though they are supposedly known for them. Service was also lacking. Server seemed bothered 50% of the time and acted like he/she didn't want to be here. read more

I went to this restaurant for lunch twice during a business trip. Its located in the mall, so there's plenty of parking available. As for the food, it's great. The menu is large and had many different options. They have some really unique and inventive sandwiches/burgers on their menu. The restaurant has a lot of tables, high ceilings and you're able to see the brewing equipment from pretty much anywhere. The tables are covered with paper and they give you crayons which I enjoyed doodling with. The first day I went I chose the 'old fashion burger', which is a steak burger with old fashion onions & cherry jam on a brioche bun. Woah. I've never had cherry jam on a burger and let me tell you it was so good. It came with a choice of fries, Cole slaw or their 'healthy option' which changes from time to time. I chose the healthy option which was watermelon. My coworker chose the Cajun chicken wrap and thought it was very good. The second day I went I had the chicken grilled cheese, which is pulled chicken, bacon, havarti cheese and a cranberry chutney on whole grain bread. It was also delicious and I chose to have the 'healthy option' again which was watermelon again. My coworker had the Margherita pizza and enjoyed it. Overall, would really like to go back again sometime to try other options from their menu. read more

Open kitchen. If you're going to have an open kitchen it should be clean. At least using ingredients that are somewhat fresh. This has been absolutely insane. EVERYTHING here is dumped out of a bag and into a metal tub and put on a hot buffet for them to slip on to a plate. I sat here and counted them cutting 7 bags open. Throwing stuff on a plate. Putting it under a heat lamp (see attached pics). I have had one of the worst burgers of my life today. A greasy mess that tasted like it was microwaved. With cold fries. My son hasn't met a chicken tender he didn't like. Until today. This thing was cold. Altogether a crappy experience. If you're thinking about eating here, consider SAP, Carmella's, Buffalo Wild Wings, Panera, one of the other establishments in this area. Note to management: food=not good. Service = decent. Kitchen = disgusting. ***UPDATE*** referencing the comment below from mgmt at this place---it is irrelevant. The food was absolutely disgusting. Anyone who enters this establishment, go take a look at the kitchen on your way back. read more

The chicken and waffles is the best I've had! I really miss the crab cakes and hope they are back seasonally. The service was just right all night right down to the recommendations for beer to pair with our meals. One of the best kept secrets here is the dessert chef! The homemade seasonal cheesecake never disappoints! The beer is good, however pricier than it needs to be, for sure! We returned today for more chicken & waffles.. still amazing! The pulled pork sandwich was a miss tonight. The best part was that all it took was mentioning to the server that we didn't care for it and it was taken off the bill, and the manager came to apologize. read more

Amazing service today (9/27/19, I wish I caught her name)! The restaurant was clean, efficient and food was delicious! I got a margarita pizza and my brother got tacos. The tables all have paper tablecloths and crayons for coloring. I would definitely recommend. read more

Well we came here twice. The bang bang shrimp tacos are amazing!! We enjoyed them. Our waitress was not friendly and looked like she did not want to be there or we were an inconvenience to her. So that was disappointing. Since I felt unwelcomed I will not eat in again. :( However, the blonde older lady was nice, and the guy that answered the phone was very sweet. So I may order to go in the future. read more

Went here for a brew and snack and the place was more like a pub/bar in side a mall. The server was about the only best thing that I liked about this place. The food was not to bad as well as their beer selection. Ok place to go to if you are staying at a hotel near here. read more

The Bruschetta Chicken was very good, though a bit heavy on the Balsamic. My husband had the Bam Bam Shrimp tacos and thought they were amazing. The patio is nice and our service was exceptional. The Blu Berry Ale was really very well crafted, I've had others, and the flavor of the fruit in this one is balanced very nicely. Overall I would recommend it as a must stop if you are in Appleton. read more

Glad to see this place is still keeping it real as in "Sconny Real."Would come here in college over 10 years ago and they were then serving up great bar food and quality brew before the craft beer craze of the mid oughts. Will always try and visit when in Outagamie. read more

We were in town visiting some friends so we decided to give Fox River Brewing a try. We went for lunch and it was relatively busy. The waitress was nice and quick and we got our food rather quickly. My caprese chicken sandwich was very good, and it must say the coleslaw was delicious. My wife got a chicken sandwich that had cranberry chutney (forgot the name of the dish) and she really enjoyed it. I had a taste and sort of wish I had chosen that well. Seems like our friends enjoyed their food. Overall a good experience and a decent place to go if you want to try something different in the area. read more

Service was absolutely great, had the chicken wrap but they forgot the avocado. Otherwise would have been 5 stars.

I usually come into the establishment once every other month. I was there this week and it has gone down hill. The server clearly wasn't worried how slow she was wandering around. She was nice, but came across as miserable. I had something I've had before and thought was good, the beer cheese burger. I typically eat my way around the outside, then as I started working my way to the middle I realized it was extremely undercooked so I couldn't finish it, but thankfully the fries were good. Should have never let the older male sever go, he was great. I understand that Covid really had impacted establishments, but you would think that you would want to go above and beyond to the ones who support you. read more

Visited the mall and brought an appetite. Instead of the food court, decided to give Fox River Brewing a try. I went with the Breakfast Bowl. When it came out, it was warm, but not hot. The taste was good, but kind of bland. The only saving grace was the Italian sausage. Could have benefited from some other spices. I ended up adding both salt and pepper. The also try to cram too many tables in the space. Saw a couple come in with a baby and stroller and had to do a lot to get to their table. Could also use some sound baffling. There weren't a lot of people in the restaurant at the time, but it was very loud. Last thing is they have their own beers and root beer. But they don't sell single bottles of rootbeer to go. If there was one really good thing they could capitalize on, root beer. read more

You shouldn't expect much from a restaurant connected to a shopping mall. I know that. Yet, still, stupidly I held out hope that a self-proclaimed brew-pub would be able to serve up at least "ok" fair. From terrible, rude service, with a healthy dose of eye-rolling, pretzels that are rivaled in quality only by gas station food with cheese-dip that was inedible due to being gritty and sour, to a burger completely devoid of flavor topped with wilted, old veg and a BLT that was an affront to bad food, this place is a garbage factory. Seriously how do you screw up bacon, lettuce and tomato on bread???? I wish I had a time machine so I could go back in time and beat my own a$$ for thinking that eating here was a good idea. read more

Andi was so helpful and continued to serve me and my party in the rain! She was so courteous and nice!

Went here for lunch with my boyfriend and our manager. The waitress Morgan was awesome. Very friendly and tasty food. Since it was lunch time and we were in the clock we didn't try any of the beer. My boyfriend ordered the root beer bbq pulled pork sandwich with fries and loved it. Our manager ordered the Cuban sandwich with fries and enjoyed his as well. I ordered their sausage Mac and cheese, it was a new menu item and I absolutely loved it. Thanks Fox River Brewery for a fantastic tasty lunch. Went there for lunch today but sat in the bar. Our bartender did not give us her name but she did amazing for serving the whole bar area and making drinks for tables outside the bar. My boyfriend again ordered the root beer pulled pork sandwich. I ordered the brisket pocket bread sandwich. Our fries tasted like fish though. I'm allergic. My beef brisket was cold in the middle even though it was baked/warmed/toasted in the pizza clay oven. I got a rash. Other than that we had an awesome time again. Thanks. read more
