Party of two, seated 1:15 pm on a Wednesday. Not busy, maybe five tables seated. Server and service was good, nothing her fault. I had cheeseburger with fries. Fries were less than warm, I'd say cool. Burger was large but not good. Over well done, they did not ask how I like it, seemed cooked previously then heated by microwave. It was not good at all. My wife had shrimp tacos, again not even warm. Ingredients thrown into shells and 3 shrimp set on top. Not good. We would for sure never eat here again based on this experience. After we ordered I'd say the food was at our table in less than 5 minutes, but neither meal was warm enough to believe it was just cooked. Food was really below average. This is one of the most unpleasant lunch experiences I've had in a long time. The place felt dirty. The air was wet and heavy, and the air conditioning was clearly turned off. The rest of the mall was fine. My feet stuck to the floor and to the carpet. Our waitress was surly. I had to get up and ask for a refill on my soda because the check backs were so infrequent. It's almost like having customers was an inconvenience to her day. And the food - not awesome. My friends fish was burnt - how do you burn fish fry in Wisconsin? My prime rib dip was on a Kaiser roll that didn't fit into the dip cup. The meat was shredded and the bread was dry. $100 for a nasty lunch in a nasty place with a nasty waitress? Never again. Had lunch while shopping at the Fox Valley mall. The place seems nice but needs a good cleaning. A little smelly as if the floor was mopped with dirty water and the floors were sticky. They have very delicious cheese curds that we would highly recommend. I very much enjoyed the BLU Bobber beer. My husband ordered a flight and enjoyed all of them, however the cinnamon vanilla was super unique and tasty. Hit or miss. If you go to Fox River Brewing when it's busy, the food will be hot, the service will be fast, and the atmosphere will be fun and lively. Recently, we went during a weekday evening when the place wasn't busy. The staff spent more time chatting with one another, while letting guests wait for service. They seem bothered to have to interact with customers. For our food, the fries were served COLD and the food looked like it had been re-heated. We ordered a good mix of food, the highlights would have to be the cheese curds and the pretzels, however the cheese for the pretzels was runny and not very flavorful. All 15 of us ordered different items from the menu - this place is great for large groups. The menu has a wide range of items that will satisfy any picky eater or someone who wants to be a little more "adventurous". I ordered the crunch chicken tenders from the app menu - so delicious, affordable, and a great serving size! We put in our food order at 11:30 and had our food about 20 min later. Not a single ranch cup or drink was forgotten or incorrect - we were all very impressed with the great kitchen and wait service! This location has the same menu (with some added items) as the Fratellos location in downtown Appleton. This location is more casual - it is located in the mall. Good for groups or happy hour, but if you're looking for a more intimate setting, I'd go to the downtown location. read more

The chili was not any warmer than before but the edge of the plate was smeared and gross. Beer was ok. Grilled cheese sandwich was super greasy and we were not asked about our choice of side. Fries were not good, way too greasy. Not impressed at all, would not return or recommend. Definitely overpriced for the subpar food. read more

Friends opinions of their dishes: Crunch salad: really big, good dressing, wished there was more crunch chicken, which was pretty tasty. Asian chicken tacos: okay, chicken was a dry, a little bland. Salsa was alright, chips a little stale. Milano mushroom pizza: pretty good, some mushrooms undercooked, crispy crust. Beef and shroom burger: nothing special, not worth it. Barbecue bacon cheesy burger: overall, pretty good. Barbecue sauce very tangy, definitely cheesy. Service was good, server very friendly. Good atmosphere. I went to this restaurant for lunch twice during a business trip. Its located in the mall, so there's plenty of parking available. As for the food, it's great. The menu is large and had many different options. They have some really unique and inventive sandwiches/burgers on their menu. The restaurant has a lot of tables, high ceilings and you're able to see the brewing equipment from pretty much anywhere. The tables are covered with paper and they give you crayons which I enjoyed doodling with. The first day I went I chose the 'old fashion burger', which is a steak burger with old fashion onions & cherry jam on a brioche bun. Woah. I've never had cherry jam on a burger and let me tell you it was so good. It came with a choice of fries, Cole slaw or their 'healthy option' which changes from time to time. I chose the healthy option which was watermelon. My coworker chose the Cajun chicken wrap and thought it was very good. The second day I went I had the chicken grilled cheese, which is pulled chicken, bacon, havarti cheese and a cranberry chutney on whole grain bread. It was also delicious and I chose to have the 'healthy option' again which was watermelon again. My coworker had the Margherita pizza and enjoyed it. Open kitchen. If you're going to have an open kitchen it should be clean. At least using ingredients that are somewhat fresh. This has been absolutely insane. EVERYTHING here is dumped out of a bag and into a metal tub and put on a hot buffet for them to slip on to a plate. I sat here and counted them cutting 7 bags open. Throwing stuff on a plate. Putting it under a heat lamp (see attached pics). I have had one of the worst burgers of my life today. A greasy mess that tasted like it was microwaved. With cold fries. My son hasn't met a chicken tender he didn't like. Until today. This thing was cold. Altogether a crappy experience. If you're thinking about eating here, consider SAP, Carmella's, Buffalo Wild Wings, Panera, one of the other establishments in this area. Note to management: food=not good. Service = decent. The chicken and waffles is the best I've had! I really miss the crab cakes and hope they are back seasonally. The service was just right all night right down to the recommendations for beer to pair with our meals. One of the best kept secrets here is the dessert chef! The homemade seasonal cheesecake never disappoints! The beer is good, however pricier than it needs to be, for sure! We returned today for more chicken & waffles.. still amazing! The pulled pork sandwich was a miss tonight. My caprese chicken sandwich was very good, and it must say the coleslaw was delicious. My wife got a chicken sandwich that had cranberry chutney (forgot the name of the dish) and she really enjoyed it. I had a taste and sort of wish I had chosen that well. I usually come into the establishment once every other month. I was there this week and it has gone down hill. The server clearly wasn't worried how slow she was wandering around. She was nice, but came across as miserable. I had something I've had before and thought was good, the beer cheese burger. I typically eat my way around the outside, then as I started working my way to the middle I realized it was extremely undercooked so I couldn't finish it, but thankfully the fries were good. Should have never let the older male sever go, he was great. Visited the mall and brought an appetite. Instead of the food court, decided to give Fox River Brewing a try. I went with the Breakfast Bowl. When it came out, it was warm, but not hot. The taste was good, but kind of bland. The only saving grace was the Italian sausage. Could have benefited from some other spices. I ended up adding both salt and pepper. The also try to cram too many tables in the space. Saw a couple come in with a baby and stroller and had to do a lot to get to their table. Could also use some sound baffling. There weren't a lot of people in the restaurant at the time, but it was very loud. Last thing is they have their own beers and root beer. But they don't sell single bottles of rootbeer to go. Went here for lunch with my boyfriend and our manager. The waitress Morgan was awesome. Very friendly and tasty food. Since it was lunch time and we were in the clock we didn't try any of the beer. My boyfriend ordered the root beer bbq pulled pork sandwich with fries and loved it. Our manager ordered the Cuban sandwich with fries and enjoyed his as well. I ordered their sausage Mac and cheese, it was a new menu item and I absolutely loved it. Thanks Fox River Brewery for a fantastic tasty lunch. Went there for lunch today but sat in the bar. Our bartender did not give us her name but she did amazing for serving the whole bar area and making drinks for tables outside the bar. My boyfriend again ordered the root beer pulled pork sandwich. I ordered the brisket pocket bread sandwich. Our fries tasted like fish though. I'm allergic. My beef brisket was cold in the middle even though it was baked/warmed/toasted in the pizza clay oven.
