Pretty much the coolest vending machine in the state. Dispenses work of local artists for $19.95

TL; DR: A truly special experience slightly off the beaten College Ave path. Highly recommend stopping by this (somewhat) hidden gem in downtown Appleton. The location is also ideal for private events since they have a private room upstairs. In terms of brews, my favorites on tap were the Stone's Throw, Ultimate Thule, and the Cantilever

Thursday night at 6p, lots of boardgame enthusiastics! Once a month, you get to drink local and interesting craft beers and play boardgames with friends if you like both activities. There is no kitchen, but you can get some free popcorn or have some nibbles for a dollar. You can also carry-on or takeout orders from the food truck outside or nearby restaurans. I love the atmosphere in the place and the craftsmanship of the interior. This is a tip-free place because they pay their staff at a reasonable wage.

The beer garden is just what Appleton needed in the summer. I frequented this place about four different times during my month visit. I may have a slight drinking problem, but McFleshman's is just that good! Grab an afternoon Sunday beer or start your night out on the ave here. It is in a perfect location to bar crawl if that's what you're in to. I cannot say enough wonderful things about this brewing co. It is extremely COVID friendly, as well because of the outdoor seating!!

As of July they were brewing their beer next door at Appleton Brewing Factory while they are working on getting their own equipment ordered/built/set up. They are currently open Thursday-Sunday, however once they have brewing equipment running, the owners said they'll be expanding the hours. I think they make a great addition to the N.E.W. craft brewery scene and bring something different to the area. Previous to going here I had only tried a few English beers and I ended up having a flight. I really enjoyed their assortment and I appreciated that they explained a little bit about each style. The bartenders are paid a living wage and all tips are donated to a different local charity each month. From the beautiful back bar to the loft space, everything in the building has a story. They have gender neutral bathrooms. On the walls there is work from local artist and small plants in all of the windows. I cannot wait for them to start doing brewery tours and other events - the owners are very nice and hilarious - I'm sure whatever they do will be a great time.

WOW! Went downtown looking for things to do/see. Found a great place that recently opened. This place has delicious crafts... After a dinner with some of the wedding guests, I suggested they visit when they had a chance. I guess that chance ended up being the same night... cheers!!

We had a yelp event here--the staff is extremely knowledgeable about beer. This is the perfect place to go if you want to enjoy a beer---the beer garden is an amazing outdoors option for beer sipping, conversation, and you can bring your own food. The inside bar is beautiful and transports you to another land. They take their beer seriously! I believe I learned more from the staff here than I have learned about beer so far my entire life. Did you know dark beer is - better choice if you are watching your figure??? I'll take 10!

    Friendly!

One of the best breweries around. Love the atmosphere, people are always friendly. A bit of a hike from Milwaukee but absolutely worth it!

I've been here twice, once for drinks and once for food. Great experiences both times. Service: Friendly and informative. They have a slim team but are incredibly efficient. Food: They pizza is incredible, the crust is untouchable. I ordered the Dirty Martini pizza (they don't have it anymore *cries in salty olive tears*). This pizza is one of a kind. If anyone else had this available in the Fox Valley I would go there every week to get my fix. It's salty, savory, creamy, crunchy and CRAVE-ABLE. We ordered one other pizza on the menu that is a standard offering, The 99 Corvette. This was okay but we both fought over who got more pieces of the Dirty Martini Pizza. I can't wait to come back here for more fun.

They do not have physical menus or servers to take people's orders; customers scan a QR code to get the online menu and order at the bar area. I can't speak to the craft beer and wine aspect to the restaurant, but they do offer some delicious craft sodas for people looking for nonalcoholic options. Although they have "normal" woodfire pizza choices (traditional pepperoni, cheese, etc.), the highlight is their rotating menu of inventive specialty savory and dessert pizzas. I found their "normal" pizza to be just ok, but the tomato soup pizza (Souper Slice) was incredibly flavorful and unique! It's definitely worth taking the leap of faith for some of their more out-there sounding pizza options. Since they have limited oven space to cook the pizzas, food can take a while to come out if it's busy. Plan ahead and use that time to relax and enjoy their drinks, or come during an off-peak time for less wait.

They have an upstairs tap room, an arcade, and a bar and restaurant downstairs. The service was all-around incredible. The employees were warm, friendly, and professional, and they seemed to know exactly how often to check in without interrupting our meal. They spaced out our drinks, appetizers, and entrees just the right amount. Our server Andrew was particularly great. We had a soda flight of their craft sodas for a super super reasonable price, and every single soda was spectacular. We're spoiled in the craft soda department by virtue of living in Wisconsin (Sprecher, Potosi, etc), but this was definitely the best craft soda we've had. Even the wacky flavors like blue raspberry were rich and flavorful--they didn't taste overwhelmingly artificial. I cannot recommend their soda enough, although I imagine their craft beer is pretty good too! We also had a delicious mocktail, which always goes a long ways in impressing us. All of our food was reasonably priced and so, so, fresh and delicious. The Bavarian pretzel with the beer cheese was heavenly!! We loved our entrees as well. Even something simple like the fries were perfectly done--fresh, crispy on the outside and soft on the inside I don't think we could have asked for a better experience. Everything we had their was top notch, and despite the number of things we ordered, our bill was not very high at all (about $50 for a mocktail, a craft soda flight and a soda pint, an appetizer and two entrees.
