Most flavorful grilled chicken wrap I've had. It was seasoned well! Very tasty. The fries were crispy, come somewhat seasoned. Inside it was cute, the decor was interesting and neat. It was a bit slow for lunch time however. Server was kind and diligent. read more

If you're not subscribed to their email list, go ahead and do that! You'll get a free coupon for their soft pretzel breadsticks with cheese. This place was hopping when we got here on Friday night. I ordered their salmon blt and enjoyed it. There are several side items to choose from. I went with their tater tots. Our server was kind and fast. Batley's is attached to the Best Western hotel so imagine they get a lot of traffic from there. read more

Less than impressed with this place. All of our meals were just kind of "meh". I had a salad, my son in law had wings and my daughter had a French dip I believe. (My grandson had the kids sliders.) It wasn't inedible, it was just blah in my opinion. My son in law did not expect the type of sauce that was on his wings vs. the menu description. I was hoping I would like this place because it is fairly close to our new home. I probably won't be going back here because there are so many great options in the valley. I paid an extra 3-4 dollars for a cranberry mule and couldn't taste a difference from the regular one. The waiter said they had a hard time finding the stuff to make it so not sure it even had cranberry in it at all... read more

Pleasantly surprised. Although they were out of the Prime Rib/Saturday special I was not disappointed with the waiter suggested pork chop. Ty, our waiter, was great from beginning to end, we tipped generously. Only reason rating is a 4 is because it was a little salty, not unbearable but noticeable. read more

Our family of six ate here for dinner on a Monday evening on our last day in WI. We had the sirloin steak, the pork chop, the meatloaf, the prime rib sandwich, the rye sandwich and the pecan salad with shrimp. It was all very fresh and prepared perfectly. The pretzel sticks were a nice appetizer and the Moscow mules were excellent. The place was very clean and looked great. The service was also excellent. We highly recommend this restaurant and we will definitely be back the next time we visit WI. read more

Can not rate this place. Been here many times and always had a great experience, with food and with service. Two hours in this restaraunt , service was terrible. Messed up half our orders, Management did absolutely nothing to make things right. Oh, then they had our bills messed up on all bills for our table. There are two many good eateries in area to deal with this crap. They lost 8 customers tonight!!! read more

Great restaurant, one of our favorites, amazing people, beautiful restaurant, with great food, we especially love the fish fry.

If you are staying on-site, it is fine. I wouldn't make a special trip. Cocktail execution... not great

Went again and even more terrible. Server grabbed the bun off the top of my burger when I said it's not what I order then tossed it on the counter and got mad at me. Grow up am I right? He was so bad. I'd never go there again I was just forced to because it's what the group picked. Bad employees! Messed up all the orders and server was whining about everything, someone change his diaper. read more

Food was good and well priced and the service was exceptional. Everyone was very friendly.

Well, the greeter was super friendly. Waiter seemed nervous, but he was pleasant. Food came out quickly and my entree - the burrito bowl with chicken was so salty I sent it back. It was not good. My husband got the grilled chicken wrap, which is what I decided to go to instead. It was okay, but not worth the $$$ read more

Customer service was excellent with the wait staff in the bar area, the tenders and dining room. Hamburgers were good and ice cream specialty drinks. (A Wisconsin favorite for me coming back to visit my hometown.) I loved seeing the bar games (fond memories from my past) and all the outside games. Fun place. Food otherwise, just ok. No complaints. Thank you Batley's. I'll miss you and my Neenah friends. read more

It was very pricey for the quality of food. I ordered one of the Chinese dishes and chicken was over cooked. Way over done. $50 for 2 lunch meals and order of cheese curds. Service was great. Server was friendly and order was right. I would not go back because of quality and cost. read more

I love the food here! Service is always on point, and the place is stylish and clean. Everyone in the entire building has a great personality. Many have been there for years, and you can tell that they really care about the business and what they do. read more

Super slow. I ordered to go and they said 10 or 15 minutes. While waiting, 4 tables were seated. 20 minutes later some of those tables started eating. 30+ minutes latter they were still telling me "any minute, we just got a couple of tables." Avoid going here. read more

We came here for Memorial Day weekend and stayed at the Best Western. First night, we tried this place, and it was good. Price a bit steep, but it was convenient. It was nice they accommodated for our son who was impatient. I got the fish platter which was all-you-can eat. I was already full after first plate. My wife got the salmon and said it was wonderful. We took our son's meal to our room since he barely ate much. Outdoor patio seating was nice, and we visited the playground with our son. We also liked that there was miniature golf course next door with ice cream stand. Overall, you couldn't pick a better place to relax. read more

Good service, good food. We were staying in the attached hotel and needed something to eat for a late-evening snack one evening. We didn't want to drive anywhere else, so we moseyed over to the Ground Round. We were seated right away and took some time to look over the menu. We opted to share a few starters with our adult beverages. I got an alright glass of wine. Nothing terrible, nothing spectacular. But I'm not complaining about having wine. We ordered a grilled chicken flatbread and some pork belly sliders. The flatbread was the better of the two, in my opinion. Really tasty and enough for a meal for two. Our server was friendly and didn't rush us out after we had finished eating but wanted to stick around sipping our drinks for a while. We also had a brunch planned with a friend in the area the next day, also at Ground Round. And I think brunch here is even better than dinner! There is certainly something for everyone, whether you want sweet, carb-y goodness in the form of waffles or pancakes....or you want an egg and veggie omelet. I got a standard breakfast, the All-American. Eggs over easy, bacon, hash browns and toast. An ample amount of food, for a very reasonable price. Since we had hours and hours of driving to do to get home immediately after this (11 hours, to be exact....) I opted to forego the mimosa I wanted and just got coffee. My cup was never empty, let alone even a little low, for very long. We had 2 lovely visits here over the course of a weekend. I would recommend it to anyone in the area looking for a place to eat. It may not be unique enough to justify going too far out of your way to come here...but it is good! read more

We went on a Sunday and had the baby back ribs. Was very impressed. The ribs fell off the bone and highly recommend the garlic Parmesan sauce on the ribs. The mashed potatoes were also very good. read more

We were there tonight with two young children. The one toddler was fussy so we needed to change our order to take out. The staff could not have been better. Three waitresses helped get drinks, pack our order and kept checking if we needed anything while we wait. We ended up eating there then as the toddler settled down for a bit. The food was great and everything was prepared and came with the dips we asked for. People need to remember that waitresses/ waiters are paid below minimum wage and relay on tips. Definitely will be back. read more

Service is good, food not that great. Nice bar area. Go for drinks they have some good specials during happy hour.

Our group of ten dined at your restaurant last night. Our server was great, getting our orders and bills correct. Kudos to her for her upbeat attitude and her mad waitress skills. The food was very good, too. read more

Who can beat $5 Long Island Ice Teas on Wednesdays? Generous drink, many flavor choices. I had the talapia special with baked potatoes and broccoli, and added a starter salad. Two bites into my salad and the dinner plate was presented. The fish was very hot and the broccoli wasn't warm, so not sure how they threw it all together. Service was overly fast, even though there was only a handful of people in there. No need to rush me, place wasn't going to close for hours. Good value, spectacular drinks. read more

The change from ground round to batleys has not been all that positive. Menu changes are meh, but the service and quality have gone down. Every single time I order takeout it is messed up. Every time. It will likely be sometime before I go back as the last three orders we had were not good at all. Oh and they took away kids shrimp meal as well which made my kiddo very bummed. read more

The host at the door was incredibly friendly, our server was fine. The food tasted like premade, bottled, basic food. Definitely tasted like Bottled premade dressings & sauces. The burger looked like a preformed patty, wings were just blah. Drinks had zero taste of the liquor that was supposed to be in it and seemed to be a syrup for the mojito rather than muddled lime & mint, and premade mix for the margarita. Nothing was disgusting, but definitely the most mediocre at best meal we've had in a while. read more

This isn't your Grandma's Ground Round - one of the best restaurants for value in Neenah and hands down if Liz or Nicole are bartending you will have the best service in the business! An absolute visit every time I'm in Neenah for work! read more

Great ambiance, and food was as expected. Very good. Service depends upon crowd. Pick a day.

First off always a good time here. Been going for years back when it was ground round. Ordered a Paloma and they did not have the ingredients. This is where the magic begins. Lizzie, who was great, rattles her brain and came up with an amazing close to. Very happy. Fast forward to the next day and had the bartender Kathy the next day and in efforts to keep the drink as awesome as the day before CALLED LIZZIE AT HOME (!) to figure out how she made it. Here's the best part, LIZZIE PICKED UP!!! Not only pleasant but helped Kathy remake the drinks from yesterday! Then to make it even better, because I told Kathy I was here for a few days, informed the next bartender how to make it!!! I love this hotel (myself and family stay here a lot to visit close family here) and they all really knocked it out of the park. No notes!!! Lexi and micayla both figured out how to make them and all was awesome on our stay in Neenah. Any of these fine ladies and you would be lucky to have them as your bartender. read more

I have to say this place is so good , we love their food, and the service was excellent, we had a very attentive server each time we went. We ate there last week and went back today. We also love that the lighting isn't too bright or too dark and we don't feel like our conversation is shared so the ambiance is perfect. My preference is the club sandwich, my son had a burger with ham and pork and onion straws on top and he couldn't finish all of it but he would definitely order it again. There isn't anything I could say to improve on. Prices are so reasonable as well. See you again soon read more

Ground Round is our go-to place when we are looking for an outdoor eating option. They have a beautiful, large outdoor patio overlooking the golf course and green area. There is also a covered area for those overly sunny days. Plus, you get all of the bar specials when you sit in this area. Think - happy hour and popcorn! AND, if you are there at the right time, there is also a free taco and nacho bar. YUM! Perfect match to the craft beer selection. The food is simply average. The food is what is driving the 3-star rating. Nothing special. The menu is diverse with burgers, tacos and burritos, pasta, etc. However, as there is no specialty, there is nothing special. If you are looking for a quick lunch option, they do have an all you can eat soup and salad bar. Quick, filling, and (relatively) healthy. My recommendation is to visit the Ground Round patio. It's the high point! read more

3/4 meals edible. Pork was spoiled. You could see, smell and taste that it had turned probably a day or two prior. Waitress was nice, manager she called over was wasted..drunk or otherwise. Meh- will probably go back at some point but this visit was a bummer...sick, literally. read more

We went here for my mother-in-law's 80th birthday with my hubby's immediate family...about 15 people. We wanted to do something different--get everyone out of the house--and thought a good activity would be playing some miniature golf. We decided to dine at Ground Round because it was the same place the mini golf was at. It worked out great! We told Ground Round ahead of time (the week prior), that we would be coming with a small group, so they wrote us down and told us we could sit wherever we wanted. To us, it just depended on the weather. Thankfully, it was warm, sunny day out, so we were able to sit in the area where you aren't directly outside, but still sheltered. I'm not sure what they call this area, but it's just off the patio. It's kind of like a big garage. It was perfect! They had fans blowing too which kept the warm air circulating. We arrived at golf around 2:30 p.m. on Saturday, July 13, and had a very nice time. When our group was done playing mini golf, we walked over to Ground Round (a little before 4 p.m.), and ordered drinks. They were very good. I had a frozen strawberry margarita, and, while it tasted awesome, it pretty much had zero alcohol in it. I felt nothing and I hardly ever drink. I'm a super lightweight. I didn't even catch the inkling of a buzz and I had two of them! That's ok though. It was still yummy and nice and cold! I ordered the Texas Tangler Salad and wow, was it ever GOOD! Really big too. I couldn't finish it. I love their sweet bbq and delicious ranch! Yum! My husband ordered the street tacos. He didn't care for them. He didn't like the flavors and said the tortillas weren't heated and there was just no love in them. The waitress let him order something in its place, so he got the Texas Tangler Pizza. Just like my salad, but on a thin, crispy crust. That was delicious! I took a bit. I loved it. The crust was great! Super crispy, just how I like my pizza crust. My mother-in-law and father-in-law ordered some type of burger, but the order came out wrong. Our waitress, Destany, was amazing!! She apologized profusely, and got them the correct burgers. It didn't take long so she must have told the chef to put a rush on it. (Even so, she ended up taking the burgers off the bill because they still had to wait a little bit for the new burgers. We were not expecting that, we would have been totally fine with paying for them, but it was a nice surprise when we got the bill, and very thoughtful for her to do that.) All the while, she kept apologizing for the error. She was amazing at filling our drinks and checking in on us. One of the best waitresses I've ever had while dining out. She was so attentive to everything. Ground Round was also kind enough to store the birthday cake we brought in their cooler from the time we got there to play mini golf, until we were ready to eat the cake after dinner. I'd be remiss if I also didn't compliment the manager. I believe her name was Amber, but I could be totally wrong. She was so kind and checked in on us a few times as well. She said how good my mil looks at 80 (and she does look amazing!), wished her a Happy Birthday, and was a very sweet person all around. They even came out and sung to my mil and gave her her free fried Oreos and ice cream for her bday! LOL! (They ended up taking them home since we were all full on food and cake.) Thanks so much to our amazing waitress, Destany! She went above and beyond. She is the epitome of superb customer service and a dining patron's dream waitress. Thanks also to the manager, Amber?, for being so wonderful. It really was the cherry on top and will make me one day go back to Ground Round. I really felt like they cared about our experience. read more

I love Batley's because they are easy-going and will accommodate to your wants! I crave eggs and bacon for breakfast, but I also can't pass up their yummy Biscuits and Gravy, so they let me do a biscuit and gravy as a side instead of toast, which helps me get all the things I want without overdoing it:) For lunch, I'm a sucker for their Chicken Caprese Flatbread with the balsamic glaze drizzled on top. SO GOOD! Definitely a great place to visit in Neenah! read more

Hotel restaurants are not my norm, but this is a nice community hangout. Bar is always hopping, but I generally sit in the dining room with my young daughter. Fish fry is great, enjoy their selection of sides. Getting a little expensive on some dishes for what you get. Seems as prices go up everywhere, Ground Round will be at the head of the curve, although they still have a special of some sort on most nights. I recommend the BOGO burgers on Tuesdays. I also recommend Tami as a server in the dining area, she is consistently an A+. read more

The food and service here are always good. While it doesn't have anything that makes it "unique" from other American restaurants I think consistency is important. We've never had a bad experience here. The outdoor patio is so nice in the summer months. They have fire tables as well which give off decent heat when it is a little cooler. By far the best part for me is that they are pet friendly and will even serve your pet (on the patio). They even have a dog menu and will bring food out in doggy dishes for your pup. For a doggo lover this is the place to go! read more

Went there for fish with another couple, fish was good, can't complain, it's as good as expected. I had several more pieces than the original serving, so that says right there it was hitting the spot. Good atmosphere, good wait staff, prices are as expected for that type of meal and environment, no shocks there, I'd definitely go again, the lady that was with us really enjoyed her burger, said it was great. I'd give this visit a solid 8.5 / 10 Would definitely go back. read more

On the morning we were departing from WI to go home, we stopped here, as it was attached to our hotel, for brunch. Service was fast and friendly.
