Let's start by calling this a 4.5 star review (it's almost 2026, maybe Yelp could start allowing 1/2 stars). I've eaten here a handful of times. It is good enough to keep bringing me back. The restaurant is comfortable with spacious booths and tables spread nicely through several dining areas. The service has always been solid and the food has been tasty and reasonably priced. Today, I had breakfast with a friend. We were seated promptly and received our coffees (and a carafe) shortly after. The menu isn't as huge as some breakfast places but offers something for everyone. You can also get lunch starting at 10 AM. I've had their breakfast buffet (check for hours), their cinnamon rolls and several breakfast items. They have always been appropriately prepared. Today, I had their eggs Benedict. The hashbrowns accompanying the meal were fantastic. The flavor was good; however, my eggs were harder than requested. We eat here whenever we have a chance. It's always busy for good reason: the food is wonderful and the service is great! I brought my family here from out of town and everyone loved their breakfast with generous portions and a wide variety. Their giant cinnamon bun is the best, but the staff at Weathervane keep us coming back. Deb is especially great at making us feel welcome! Cute and comfortable local restaurant with creative food choices. So many interesting meals we couldn't decide! We had 'Sweater Weather' breakfast which was a pumpkin/turkey chili over roasted potatoes, eggs and toast. The breakfast bowl was delicious and I didn't feel guilty eating it as it was turkey. The server came out with toast that was very dark (my husband likes burnt toast - I like mine very light but would usually not say anything about toast). Our server, before putting down the toast, shared the toast came out very dark and asked if we would prefer new toast? This made it very easy for me to agree it was dark and asked for lighter toast. I was in town for two nights and decided to try Weathervane for breakfast. The restaurant was very clean with seating near window. My breakfast was great although the portions are large. A coworker recommended giving Weather Vane a try and it did not disappoint. This place is super cute and has amazing breakfast food. We too advantage of the breakfast buffet. COVID precautions in place included hand sanitizer and disposable gloves for using the shared serving utensils. Everything we had was delicious including cheesy scrambled eggs, biscuits and gravy, crisp bacon, cheesy hash browns, French toast sticks. . . I could go on and on. Excellent brunch spot in Menasha. It's quite easy to see why it's rated #1 here. The location is lovely, there's ample parking on the street and behind. Clean and modern vibe inside. The food is exceptional. Everything we ordered was fresh and delicious! I highly recommend the Patty Melt and Bloody Mary's. Also, prices are surprisingly affordable. While known for breakfast I stumbled across weather vane while hunting for a lunch spot. I was warmly greeted and sat in the warm and light restaurant. There was a dull roar coming from all the people enjoying breakfast and lunch. While full of people, my service was great. I ordered the roast beef lunch special sandwich, it was made with tender and flavorful roast beef on a toasted wheat berry type of bread with fresh fixings and fries. The sandwich and the atmosphere hit the spot, I left completely satisfied. I would definitely recommend! read more

We visited at 9:30 on a Sunday morning, hostess told us 15 min wait for the two of us. It was more like 8 mins. Quick service, clean and bright restaurant. Visiting from out of town and was happy to find such a yummy breakfast place near our AirBnB. I would describe the food as better than diner but items you'd expect from a breakfast diner - corned beef hash, huge portions of hashbrowns, big and fluffy pancakes, unlimited coffee. What a fun place. Great mimosas and bloody Mary's. The food choices were plenty. Service was wonderful. I missed that! People are friendly and we were in no rush through brunch. You will need to arrive early and prepare to wait your turn for a table. We wanted to sit and order by 1030 and we arrived at 930 on a Sunday. We sat at 1020. No reservations so cozy up to the breakfast bar for a brunch drink and strike up conversation. We had a great family brunch. We will be back. Great lil spot in Menasha. read more

Stopped here on a Sunday on the way back to Madison from Green Bay. Looking at the reviews, I thought it would be a hit, and believe me, it was! We had a wait of about 45 minutes but they have ample room and the place is much bigger than it looks. I figured any place that had that long of a wait must be worth it, and I was right. I had eggs, hash browns, kielbasa and sourdough toast and it was all delicious. The food came fast. The hash browns were crisp and had just left the flat top. The kielbasa was quite good and the toast was awesome. The portion sizes are HUGE. I was not able to finish my plate despite coming in late and not eating till almost lunch time.
