Breakfast Casserole (Denver Skillet without gravy)
    Rachael D.

We love this family style diner. The staff is always amazing and very helpful. We ordered breakfast to-go today... fed our family of 6 for under $40! So worth the money. And something everyone in our family enjoys. HUGE portions... we had the 3 pancakes in our order... and they're the size of a dinner plate! I had the breakfast casserole (Denver Skillet) and it was phenomenal. Their website address isn't accurate on here or Apple Maps... but you can find it here: https://3rdstreetdiner.com

Small town classic diner with great food and friendly staff. Prices are good for the amount and quality of food you get.

The food was good and the prices were ok. The hours are convenient for families and other people. The service was ok but a little rushed.

If I remember correctly, and correct me if I'm wrong, it had 6 stools and 3 booths. When they moved across the street, I followed. When they changed owners, I followed. When they closed, I wasn't happy. When they reopened, I was overjoyed. So tonight was not my first time at Mihm's. And after all these years, I hope it won't be the last time. Tonight, like so many nights, I had the steak sandwich with cheese, onion, and butter. Some places say they have a butter burger... You haven't had a butter burger until the butter runs down your chin. My only disappointment is that the "We Don't Serve Coke Products" is down. Just the story is worth keeping the sign-up! If you have been there before, stop back and enjoy the burgers (Chili is pretty good). If you haven't been there before, stop by and give Mihm's a try.

It can be a little loud there when it's busy, but that's all part of the vibe. Service was great, they tag team the tables so multiple servers checked on us. Definitely going to go back and have a beer with my burger next time! Oh and definitely get a double patty, I got a single and my friends double with bacon looked fire

As an avid Yelper, I looked it up and wasn't too impressed with the photos, but I decided to trust a local's choice. We took the 10-minute walk from our Airbnb, and when we arrived, I was shocked to see how big the restaurant was. It was bustling on a Saturday morning, but we were seated quickly. Immediately, I noticed a warm and friendly family-focused atmosphere. Our waitress was kind and quick. She brought us the menus, got our drink order, and gave us time to look through everything. Since this was our first time in Wisconsin, we got an order of cheese curds and a breakfast skillet each. We easily could've shared one breakfast skillet, but they were both so delicious, and I'm glad we got our own. The cheese curds were phenomenal, even though we ordered them as an appetizer. They came out at the same time our meals did. I enjoyed our time at Black Bear and I'm even considering going back again as I write this review. A great spot for newbies in town and definitely worth checking out.

I came here with my darling children while home visiting my folks. We were seated rapidly and served rapidly too. I had something called the Tot Scrambler and it was basically an homage to poutine: tots, onions, bacon, scrambled egg, gravy. Yes, it's every bit as awesome as it sounds. My daughter had an egg-n-cheese croissant and sweet potato fries and the fries were excellent. My son had an enormous meal with French toast which he caused to disappear with remarkable speed. As is my custom, I give this place 5 stars because it is a perfect avatar of its genre. Being here is like the emotional equivalent of falling into a vat of macaroni and cheese. (Which, if they have it here, is surely perfect.) Parking was fine and handicap access was fine too. If I still lived here in Appleton I would come here every month for sure.
