Food is ok. Eggs were good; steak more Denny's quality. My bride had some sort of pancake thing. She couldn't finish it due to the over exuberance of cream cheese. The bacon was excellent. Service was almost average. Slow and unhappy. There is a tv show playing which no one watches. Very dirty decks, tables and heads. Literally lemons, butter and jam (?) on the deck. Napkins were scattered everywhere. There were two 'cleaners'. Sorta zombie like moving and not really watching what they were doing as they moved about the restaurant. read more

I've been to this restaurant a half dozen times over the past couple of years. It seems to improve a little bit every time I visit. There is a large breakfast menu to draw in the masses. The servers always seem friendly and the coffee is refreshed frequently. Isn't that what most of us want in our breakfast place (they also serve lunch before closing at 3). The meals are generous in proportion and frequently result in patrons leaving with a to-go box. I ordered their corned beef hash Benedict on this last visit. The cooks nailed the poached eggs and also the Hollandaise sauce. In addition to the large breakfast, it comes with hash browns and your choice of toast, pancakes or French toast. If you have breakfast, you won't need lunch! I also noticed some new artwork on the walls and the restaurant seemed cleaner on the whole than during previous visits. As mentioned before, this place seems to be working on continuous improvement. Give it a shot; you'll probably agree. read more

The place was packed, despite how many tables were full the service was great and prompt. My coffee cup stayed full and hot throughout breakfast. We ordered the make your own skillet. Meats, veggies and two cheeses with two eggs were filling and great. Highly recommend for breakfast. read more

The best breakfast skillet I have had in a long time. Huge with lots of ingredients! I took half of it home. It reheated well. My hubby liked his omelette. And the biscuits and gravy were yummy! Overall a great breakfast and service. We were there on a busy Sunday morning and we didn't have to wait long. Very reasonable prices. Hopefully you like it as much as we did! read more

I literally thought this place was called Happy Maple because this place made me so happy. I never been here before, but I was here visiting my step-cousin ;) She recommended this place and man! Big place. Service was good. Skillets are huge - I'm 6'1" 235 lbs and couldn't finish it, and I was hungry. The Mexican skillet was greasy, and mostly potatoes and peppers with a sprinkle of chorizo. They should make it smaller with more meat. Biscuits and gravy were good, but nothing special. They didn't toast the muffin on the Bennie, so sort of gummy. So a decent diner, kind of greasy, but an extra star for portion size. read more

A classic breakfast diner in Wisconsin, filled with the expected diner demographic (we didn't see any other couples under 45 while dining). Come here if you're looking for large breakfast servings with larger breakfast sides! The main reason I gave 3 stars was because it's just your average breakfast diner, nothing too fancy inside, but good food. We had three waitresses stop by in the first few minutes of being seated, but then no one refilled our water throughout the rest of our meal. We came on a Saturday morning - the building looks a bit smaller from the inside than I would've expected. FYI for larger groups, there are some booths for bigger groups, but most will fit only 4-5. We were seated at a little table that barely fit our HUGE meals! Both of us ordered the build your own skillet to really get exactly what we wanted. The menu is so large that you could come for a whole year and probably never order the same thing! The skillets are very good - and MASSIVE. When you make your own you get a choice of 5 veggies, 3 meats, and 2 cheeses. Each come with a large pile of American potatoes on the bottom and 3 eggs on top. If eggs, toppings and potatoes weren't enough you also get the choice of biscuits and gravy, two pancakes or toast. We each tried a different side, the pancakes were great (again, massive) and the biscuits were just what you'd expect from diner quality. Needless to say, we'll have leftovers for multiple meals! This is nothing like a brunch with the girls at SAP, but if you're looking to take your grandparents for a tasty (and affordable) breakfast, this is your place! read more

"EAT WHERE THE LOCALS EAT" What praise can't I give to this local restaurant? It was a Sunday morning and there were six of us. We expected a wait as there were many people in line ahead of us and we had a larger party. To our pleasant surprise we were seated in about fifteen minutes! The hostess and waitresses were on their game. They turned tables like champs. The service was great and everyone was friendly and competent. The teamwork and atmosphere were impressive. The food timing was good as well. I should note that while the staff were very efficient and effective nobody we encountered felt rushed to finish their meal. Everyone in our party enjoyed their food, coffee and iced coffee. Not a complaint from anyone. I'm completely impressed. I do recommend this establishment and would go there again. read more

Food was delicious, and the skillet lasted me three meals. Service was exceptional, we were told a 15 min wait max and we were sat in 5. Our waitress was very helpful and was cracking jokes with us the whole time. Whole place seemed clean and organized as well despite Sunday morning chaos. The food was good and tasty enough to go back. However, the service was bad. After delivering our food the waitress didn't return until we flagged her down. She got one of the order wrong, she did correct it. Not once did she check to see if we needed anything or refill coffee. Once a manager (maybe) asked how things were and I asked for more coffee did he then flagged her down and I got my coffee. They weren't that busy so not really a reason for poor service. read more

Really wanted to like this place, but was severely disappointed that the scrambled eggs were carton eggs and not real eggs, sausage was dry, maple syrup was runny and watered down, and the fish fry was soggy. You know the bad frozen fish that when you heat it up turns to mush. Ick! I will say the pancakes had decent flavor. Although I would go without the cinnamon apple topping next time. Definitely a lot of food for little price. Big improvement over Mary's restaurant in taste and quality of food. Just wish they were open a little longer than the restricted hours they have. Maybe in the future that will change. Always a packed parking lot so get there early. read more

Quite possibly the worst breakfast I have ever had. I had an omelet with terrible ingredients topped with something thing they said was cheese. The ham was diced and tasted like it was from a can. Was hard to find any ingredients in the omelet because there were barely any there. My wife's waffle with berries on top arrived cold and the strawberries were swimming in flavored syrup. Pancakes were fluffy and large and were very good. The menus is giant and can accommodate whatever needs you have, they even offer a healthy menu and offer sugar free syrup. My husband and I enjoyed a very good breakfast at this restaurant. We both had omelettes that were very tasty, but since we are both potato lovers the American fries and hash browns were the highlight of our breakfast. Delicious! We were served a large portion of each item. We had an excellent waitress who was attentive and friendly. Will definitely be back.
