So many good things about this bakery. I love that they use fresh ingredients and natural ingredients to flavor/color their confections. The macarons are primo perfection! (Especially passionfruit) Nea and her team are top notch and I love talking to them all. It's a beautiful bakery and always very clean and welcoming. The scones, croissants, and cookies are my favorites, as well as the little lad cakes, fruit puffs, and lemon torte. Thankfully, this bakery is not on my route to work or else I'd be in trouble. read more

This bakery is adorable inside. Everyone was so nice. We got a salted caramel cake which was probably the best cake I ever had. If not- it was in the top 5- So moist and delicious. I'd like to try every cake in the place! This is the kind of cake you would love to eat when you are watching a baking show!! Because it would probably WIN!!! Scrumptious. read more

Their baked goods are always delicious. We recently had a catering order that went smoothly. The entire order was prepared on time and correctly. We had to pick up the order a day in advance, but the salad was crispy, pasta salad was fresh and the wraps were crunchy and delicious. Despite not eating the food until the day after, all of the food was fresh and nothing was soggy. read more

$78 for a very tiny cake. The cake was very tiny, and I was charged $78 for it. The cake for which I was charged was very, very, very tiny.

Stopped by today prior to heading to Green Bay for a Luke Combs concert; Lisa was amazing. She was extremely kind and took time to explain all the sweet treats they have. She explained how to properly eat their cake as some of the buttercream needs to thaw to ensure the flavor profile is unmatched. We purchased several cookies, a brownie, a slice of zucchini cake, and a slice of should have been my divorce cake. This was our first time here and we will absolutely be back. Lots of parking and great people. read more

5 stars just isn't enough for this place! They continue to go above and beyond with every interaction I have! I walked in with the intention of getting a simple half dozen macarons for a friend that had just had a new baby. Not only did they let me try one of their new flavors for free, when the transaction was over, they asked if I would be interested in taking pastries for the nurses that cared for my friend that had just given birth. I walked out with two boxes, and a heart full of gratitude for a place that cares about human connection on another level. Whisk and Arrow is the best! read more

I ordered a specialty cake and they came through above and beyond what I could have imagined! It was so good and I will be back! They emailed with me back and forth to make sure I was getting what I asked for and when I got there, even though it was mother's day weekend and they where very busy, they were very quick! The store its self is so beautiful and the flowers where gorgeous! If I had more time I would have stayed for tea and enjoyed all that they had out! read more

Always top notch You really need to order class well in advance for Birthdays That being said, they have some Cakes available on shorter notice read more

Fantastic cookie and yummy homemade soda. The service was exceptional as well. I wasn't sure about what to order for a drink and they were very kind as they explained all the fun options. read more

My favorite place to stop for a coffee & sweet treat! The staff is always so kind and the treats are out of this world!!

We came here on a recommendation for their desserts and being out of towners, we went big. We preordered a special cake for no special reason about 3 weeks in advance. They're currently in the midst of renovations so they're doing orders drive thru. No biggie here, although I'd love to see the place when they're finished. When we got here, we decided to splurge on a few more goods including the macarons, cookies and croissants. We devoured the macarons after getting them. I would say these were impressive with capturing each flavor. I didn't eat the cookie but the highlights here are the croissants and the cake so get your hands on these if you can. Croissants are a rotating flavor...so we had the tomato basil. It is unbelievably flaky, not greasy and all and packed with flavor! Even after setting it in the fridge, the croissant held up its flaky, crispy, buttery nature. We ordered the should've been my wedding cake. The buttercream cuts so nicely and they do a great job of pairing tart with sweet for a balance that doesn't leave you hanging with gut rot. We had the 6 inch, so this had four cake layers and three frosting layers-two of which had a cream/whole raspberry combination. I was definitely NOT disappointed and would come back here again, regardless of special occasion or not. read more

Their pastries are top-notch and they are very friendly. Their bakery is airy and clean.

We got these for thanksgiving, simply delicious! We ordered online for a contactless delivery. When the pie was brought out to my car, it was still warm and on a beautiful pie plate. Both desserts were great, the apple pie was a huge hit! Highly recommended! read more

Came into Whisk and Arrow, Appleton Wisconsin for the first time today. One of the best bakeries in Appleton, although the macarons are pricey (over $20 for 8) they are worth it. I've never seen so many flavors of macarons, everything from chocolate and vanilla to passion fruit and blueberry lemon there is something for everyone. I only ordered macarons and they were spectacular so I can only imagine the other cookies, brownies, cakes, and pies are just as tasty as the macarons. read more

Give this place two try's. Won't be back. First attempt was on their cupcake day. They all looked tasty but they were all dry. Second attempt I got a slice of cake, again looking yummy af but was so crumbly and dry it wasn't worth the calories to finish it. read more

I have had this cake twice and both times the cake was dry. This was disappointing as I had heard such great reviews. I thought maybe my first bad experience was just a fluke so I decided to try the cake again. Unfortunately, the cake this week was dry as well. The cake is beautiful though. read more

I crave this place. I love that they change their menu up and only announce it the morning of. It's like Christmas every day! Rave, rave, rave! And the staff are all as sweet as their creations. So glad you are here. Please make a cronut. I have never had one and would like my first to be amazing. I trust you. Everything else has been nothing less. read more

This place is kind of a big deal. My wife thinks of herself as a cake connoisseur, in fact I'm pretty sure that if she could only have one thing for the rest of her life it would probably be cake. So it only made sense that we ordered one of these beauties for our 17th wedding anniversary. We stumbled across this charming bakery on Instagram and are so happy we did. We ordered a Shorty....Raspberry chambord buttercream squeezed between 2 layers of the most moist almond cake we've ever had. All of their lovely cakes are custom made and topped with some of the most delicious French macarons we've ever tried. The varieties of fillings, frostings and cake flavors is amazing. We also purchased a few baked goods. Everything that we sampled was positively delicious. The flavors of macarons are so creative, unlike anything we've had in the area. The owner Nea was wonderful! She clearly explained how to take care of our cake and was SO friendly. We will definitely be coming back for special occasions and everything in between read more

Cakes: the best I've ever had (no joke. and I've tried many!) Macarons: you must try these! They also freeze well and are great hostess gifts if you don't accidentally eat them all first. Scones: Highly recommend the vanilla, rhubarb strawberry & chocolate orange. Can't wait to try more flavors. Cookies: yes, cookies. all the cookies. enough said. Cheesecake, carrot cake, and the list of amazing sweet treats goes on and on. Love the smiles from the fabulous team Nea has put together. They make my day every time I visit. read more

Excellent anniversary cake we thought We bought one that was too big The family loved it and it was gone the day after .so delicious 4 different flavors read more

The cakes are beautiful, but very dry. The box of cake, which used to be in a cup, seems to be the designer cake scraps, saved and put in a box with frosting on top. Very crumbly and dry and seriously over-priced. Everything is overpriced. We are not in New York City, and $10 for a slice of cheesecake or $12 for a slice of cake is laughable. I know they use real butter, etc., but so do a lot of other local vendors who charge much less. The cookie prices went up by 25% overnight. While this used to be a weekly stop for a cookie or other treat, now I have to consider the price over quality. I stopped getting cake a long time ago, now I'm afraid it's goodbye for good. read more

The croissants are wonderful! Such a treat to have and you can tell a lot of hard work was put into making them. The macarons were also amazing. My only downside is the chocolate chip shortbread cookies were pretty floury tasting and not so much like a shortbread but don't let that put you off of trying other things! Staff is very friendly as well. I will definitely be back for the croissants and macarons for sure. read more

Absolutely one of my favorite places in Appleton! I love looking at their new menu each day and trying different things! They have the best macaroons! So many different flavors and they are all so delicious. I would recommend this place over and over again! YUM read more

I cannot say enough good things about Nea and her team. She was able to schedule us for a wedding cake when we changed our plans to a "micro wedding" due to COVID. A couple of emails and a fun phone call, and we ended up with a delicious and beautiful cake. We weren't able to do any tastings due to living in Chicago, but the flavors were spot on. We cannot wait to have the rest in one year! read more

The staff is absolutely amazing, the building is gorgeous, and the cakes are beautiful. Unfortunately, I've gotten cake slices from Whisk & Arrow 3 times, and each time the cake was dry and not even edible. And for the price, I'd expect an excellent piece of tasty cake! read more

Amazing. Simply amazing. This is our go-to place for delectable sweets. Their macarons are the best I have ever had, and their cakes are wonderful! read more

The macarons are amazing, melt in your mouth, delicious. They usually have at least 10 flavors to choose from. The almond amaretto is my current favorite. The standard cookies are great too. The only reason I give 4 stars instead of 5 is that the shop is not ADA compliant. There is a flight of stairs to greet you in the entrance. Not fun. I'm saving up to buy one of their cakes though. read more

An amazing gem in Appleton. I frequently drive up from Oshkosh just for their goodies. Their cookies are ABSOLUTELY THE BEST...the chocolate chip cookies and the molasses are MY FAVORITES!! Looking for the best macarons? Look no further; so many flavors to try that taste real and not artificial. Best scones EVER.
