Pre-order them, and they got you. Take a number when you go inside (once you can...you know...find the number ticket thingie). They'll call you to the counter and help you quick as a flash. We were here just to pick up said obscene amount of buns for a family event...but the delicious, sweet smells and gorgeous looking baked goods had my sister and I hooked and drooling over everything in the retail area. Stopped there this morning to grab a donut since it wasn't too far from my hotel. The women behind the counter were great and very polite. I ordered a fried croissant which was pretty good. I went to tip a couple dollars since the service was good and it was Valentine's Day, they told me they didn't have a tip jar but she would share it with her co-workers and thanked me for the generosity. read more

This location deserves 0 stars!! Been to this location two times and I'm very disappointed in the customer service I experienced, both times. The first time was the week of Christmas 2024 and I received no greetings from any of the staff. The second time was last week, the week of July 14, 2025, and both staff who greeted me, if you want to call it that, were rude!! Both of them asked what it was that I needed in a rude and irritated tone in their voices! I know rude tone of voices when I hear it! I MUST say, that the MENASHA location deserves MORE than 5 stars for their extraordinary customer service!! Every staff member there, every time I go there, are extremely friendly; more than they need to be!!! They go out of their way for every customer who walks in and while they're in the bakery store!!! So, everything is beautiful and popular, however, I cannot tolerate soy anything. I asked if their baked goods contained soy, the counter help didn't know, so I checked the package goods and everything that has ingredients listed used soybean oil. My assumption is that even in non-listed food it is the same. It's unfortunate for me, lovely goodies, but I won't be back. read more

I had a horrible experience here. I think her name was Pam. She was snooty and had a huge attitude with me. I was talking to one of the other workers (much younger) and Pam loudly accused me of trying to ask other worker to take a bite out of a cookie. So she yelled at me. First of all, Pam you are an idiot. You're budding into conversations that are none of your business. And then she doesn't even apologize. If I wasn't with my mother at the time, I would have went off on your ass. Learn how to treat customers and get the full story before you make an ass out of yourself. Been meaning to try this bakery since moving to Oshkosh. Finally made it to pick up paczkis for Fat Tuesday. We got two regular sugar coated and 2 Bavarian cream. They were amazing! Although their bakery is very good, their employees could take a lesson on customer service. When two employees talk to each other the entire time you are standing there and then they finally ask what you would like, and then proceed to continue with their conversation, can't even stop their conversation to talk to the customer, I think they are rude. They can keep their overpriced bakery. read more

Most people I know swear by Manderfield's as the best donuts they have ever had or the best bakery they have even been to. I can say I do enjoy Manderfield's. Amazing bakery. Amazing. The breads are freshly made and very delicious. From a dessert perspective, I am a big fan of the small pudding cakes. Oh, and the peanut squares are also very good. The other day i had a chocolate eclair, and the chocolate was super rich and delicious. They have some prepackaged goods (coffee cakes, donut holes, kringles, small cakes). Mandefields is a community staple! I only wish a restaurant to compliment their bakery would open next door. I appreciate their ability to have fresh bakery even late in the day on Saturday. The options for cake, filling and frosting flavors are extensive and fulfill all imaginable possibilities! Terrible. This is the 2nd time I was given a cake from here and it was tasteless. It was sweet ( Sugar as number 1 ingredient which is not cool),wet, but yet tasted like nothing. It has everything with too much junk added to a simple recipe which is totally not needed if they sold their cakes in a reasonable amount of time which I would assume 4-5 days. I came from Philly where cakes were made without any added Mono & Diglycerides, Polysorbate 60 and artificial flavors. Too many there to compete for the freshest and tastiest, but not here so they can get away with lack luster food. What is going on here? Every one raves about this place not knowing what good deserts are made of. Never again will I buy from here. I just assume make my own from now on. My family knows what goes into it. read more

Went to Manderfields to see about a wedding cake. Love their doughnuts and Bread, so figured it was best option. Boy was I WRONG. I went there fully open, yes, that I was looking around for best taste and options and price....I dont know a bride around that doesn't shop options and then pick best one. Well this was a sh@*show from step one. Lady was on vacation that does cake stuff, ok fine, understandable. She came back and called. Now my fiance had called and given my number AND I emailed her IN GREAT DETAIL what I was seeking. She said she would call Tuesday....by Thursday still nothing, so we called her. We were told she can't stand behind her word on getting back to people because she just gets busy. ok, if you are busy but say you'll call, at least call or even email saying "hey, I'm sorry, I got busy please give me some more time". How hard is that??? I guess very. As now we were treated very rudely AND were told our business was not even wanted because we said we were looking around at other places so why should they waste their time and WE made THEM nervous looking around. Ok, as someone who has owned their own business with their Mom, customers are all good enough AND deserve respect! Plus I think WE are the ones that should be concerned as YOU can't even return a phone call when promised....how the heck will you get a cake done and delivered as promised!? Again as a business owner myself....bad reviews and experiences go WAY further than good ones, so I would think you would want to help not hinder your business.
