Pretzel
Annie D.

I was excited to try Uncle Mike's and left only a tad disappointed. I got the pork belly cinnamon rolls and while I loved the concept, I didn't love the execution. They were a little too on the sweet side with the cinnamon added. I think just the glaze would have been fine and the salad was not needed. I also got the pretzel and the boba mocktail. I wish you had the option for a warm cheese dip rather than cold and they need to serve a boba straw with the drink so you can enjoy the boba. The straw was too small. The prices were also a tad high. I did enjoy looking around their bakery/store after and picked up some things to go.

Life is short, eat the pizza

The wood-fired veggie pizza was delicious, crust was light and crispy, romanesco sauce was delightful mix of the right spices and fresh basil always enhances the flavors. The service was excellent and the atmosphere was casual and relaxed.

Pepperoni Wood Fired Pizza

Besides having the best Kringle anywhere, they have a restaurant with wood fired pizza and burgers. The fries...fresh and hot! The burger! Delicious! Customer service A++! We even picked up treats for our pup! We stopped there on our way to Door County and will definitely stop on the way back! Btw, we received an Uncle Mike's Kringle for Christmas from a neighbor and have sent Kringle all over the country to friends and family! Don't miss this stop on your travels! The entire store and restaurant were beautifully arranged!

Sausage and pepperoni pizza

The word "Kringle" drew me as we were driving by! We placed an order to go...pepperoni and sausage pizza and a turtle Kringle. Liked the crust but would like to have had it cooked a little more. It folded nicely but I wanted more crunch at the edges. One of the meats was a little more spicy than I cared for. The turtle Kringle was very sweet! Almost too sweet. Would probably return for another Kringle when we have dinner guests but we've had much better pizza and there are too many places for that option. We didn't need service since everything was to go but staff were more than willing to assist us with any decisions.

Great food and service! Really enjoy the specials and creativity. Great for dinner, not just a bake shop or breakfast/lunch place.

They have a ton of board games to play while you drink or wait for your food. Great place to meet up to wind down. I've been here twice, once for drinks and once for food. Great experiences both times. Service: Friendly and informative. They have a slim team but are incredibly efficient. Food: They pizza is incredible, the crust is untouchable. I ordered the Dirty Martini pizza (they don't have it anymore *cries in salty olive tears*). This pizza is one of a kind. If anyone else had this available in the Fox Valley I would go there every week to get my fix. It's salty, savory, creamy, crunchy and CRAVE-ABLE. We ordered one other pizza on the menu that is a standard offering, The 99 Corvette. This was okay but we both fought over who got more pieces of the Dirty Martini Pizza. I can't wait to come back here for more fun.

They do not have physical menus or servers to take people's orders; customers scan a QR code to get the online menu and order at the bar area. I can't speak to the craft beer and wine aspect to the restaurant, but they do offer some delicious craft sodas for people looking for nonalcoholic options. Although they have "normal" woodfire pizza choices (traditional pepperoni, cheese, etc.), the highlight is their rotating menu of inventive specialty savory and dessert pizzas. I found their "normal" pizza to be just ok, but the tomato soup pizza (Souper Slice) was incredibly flavorful and unique! It's definitely worth taking the leap of faith for some of their more out-there sounding pizza options. Since they have limited oven space to cook the pizzas, food can take a while to come out if it's busy. Plan ahead and use that time to relax and enjoy their drinks, or come during an off-peak time for less wait.

Ordered delivery from the Glass Nickel on 6/18/18. I ordered a fish sandwich and the "bacon blue"…read moresalad. Delivery was within the 30 minute time frame which I was quoted, and the food arrived very hot (sandwich) and cold (the salad). They definitely kept the two temperature foods separated. The Fish sandwich was excellent. Two fried fish patties, cheese, lettuce, tomato, on a toasted long roll with a side of tartar. The fish was light with a crispy batter and not at all greasy. The bread was not soggy and had a bit of chew to it. The tartar sauce was nice and tangy. All told, an excellent sandwich. On to the salad. What can I say? When they say it's a "bacon and blue" salad, they mean "BACON AND BLUE". There was a good deal of fresh, tender spinach but the amount of bacon and blue cheese crumbles was amazing. The star of this salad was the the bacon and blue cheese. The spinach was there as a vehicle to help bring these two to your mouth. The salad includes walnuts, BUT they're plain. The salad would be so much better if these were candied walnuts, to bring a bit of sweetness to the salad, and if they included some cranberries or some other tart fruit, it would help cut through some of the richness/cloying of the bacon and blue cheese. These additions would have made for a bit of a more well-rounded flavor profile for the salad (hope someone from the restaurant reads this). I made the mistake of going with blue-cheese dressing with this salad. If you were to order this salad, I would say go with something like a vinaigrette, again, to help cut through some of the richness of the salad. I can't speak to the dining room, but I can say that you will not be disappointed by the food.

They come to take an order - when a different person already took the order...that never came. Want a bill? Plan to wait...and then you wont get the right one anyway. Definitely wouldnt go back.

The service was all-around incredible. The employees were warm, friendly, and professional, and they seemed to know exactly how often to check in without interrupting our meal. They spaced out our drinks, appetizers, and entrees just the right amount. Our server Andrew was particularly great. We had a soda flight of their craft sodas for a super super reasonable price, and every single soda was spectacular. We're spoiled in the craft soda department by virtue of living in Wisconsin (Sprecher, Potosi, etc), but this was definitely the best craft soda we've had. Even the wacky flavors like blue raspberry were rich and flavorful--they didn't taste overwhelmingly artificial. I cannot recommend their soda enough, although I imagine their craft beer is pretty good too! We also had a delicious mocktail, which always goes a long ways in impressing us. All of our food was reasonably priced and so, so, fresh and delicious. The Bavarian pretzel with the beer cheese was heavenly!! We loved our entrees as well. Even something simple like the fries were perfectly done--fresh, crispy on the outside and soft on the inside I don't think we could have asked for a better experience. Everything we had their was top notch, and despite the number of things we ordered, our bill was not very high at all (about $50 for a mocktail, a craft soda flight and a soda pint, an appetizer and two entrees.
