Honestly have been wanting to try this out for a while. Saw it on tv somewhere and said we'd try it if we ever came across one. Set up like an ice cream shop, you pick your flavors. They allow you to try a couple before ordering. Can also get in cones or cup. Purely dessert place. Service was okay, they definitely did not want to be there that night. Flavors were plenty. But not my cup of tea. I am a big dessert guy but this was overly sweet. Like mouth full of sugar sweet. Did get half ice cream half dough. Don't think we'll be back. Do think it's worth trying once for the hype and experience. Happy eating! read more

Delicious cookie dough for the right price. We each got 2 scoops, total was about $13, which isn't bad to begin with - but it was SO rich we needed to stop eating and save it! I got the monster cookie and peanut butter cookie, husband got Oreo and cheesecake. The inside was a very basic, large space. Came here for the first time a couple weeks back, super cute place located in DT appleton. A bit tough to find parking as usual, but I liked the interiors - they had plenty of seating and boardgames to play. Been looking for a good ice cream place since Paradise Island closed down, and this fits the bill. I live in Appleton and was very excited when I heard a cookie dough shop was opening up in the area! I ordered one scoop of sugar cookie dough and another of chocolate chip. If you have a sweet tooth I definitely recommend the sugar cookie dough... it was delicious! The chocolate chip cookie dough was good too. My only complaint was the service. I know they recently opened up and are very busy but I waited in line for over 30 minutes to get my dessert. I've been to both the downtown location and the one in the mall. The Oreo and birthday cake dough were my favorite. There is an older woman who helped us at the mall over the weekend was super nice and pleasant to talk to and didn't make us feel rushed. It's our go to desert place when we are downtown. read more

Had a great experience with my daughter here last night. They allow samples so if you are unsure, go ahead and try it before buying a scoop. Was so good I ordered a scoop of each flavor. My daughter got the fudge brownie. I got a scoop of each of the chocolate chip and Oreo. Can't wait to go back with the rest of the family. This place is super cute in the inside. Kids can dress up and have fun. The lady working at the counter was very helpful and new her stuff! I got the cookie dough boat. You can also sample all of them if you can't choose and need to try it. Very reasonably priced. Can't wait for it to open in the mall so it's closer to home. read more

Ice cream decent, is Ashby's Sterling - don't think it's from Wisconsin, which if correct would be surprising given small shop and great local options. One and done. The ice cream is so-so. The server said they didn't have any vanilla ice cream but it looked like there was a tub of it. The server said she didn't know what it was but didn't bother to ask her boss. The cookie dough is too big amount compared to ice cream. I had lots of cookie dough left to throw away. read more

This place is great, good cookie dough, good price. However the girl working both times I've been here doesn't care to be at her job, also the two samples rule I get when you have kids coming in or homeless people off the street but when you have someone coming in for sure buying multiple things you should allow more samples, esp when you try to up sell two scoops of two different types. If I didn't like the one kind I'm not going to just buy a scoop of something else blindly. Maybe change those rules a bit. read more

It was ok, they have a lot of ice cream, but you are only allowed two samples, which is really hard for kids, so I wouldn't bring them. The cookie dough was also so rich that I felt sick after one child scoop, and I'm a real sweet tooth. It's also pricey at $3.50 a scoop, and $6 for a milk shake. If you are looking for something to share after a date downtown, sure, get one scoop, but otherwise, it's just too much. read more
