Fun stop - lots of space, great food, kind staff! My husband & i look forward to going back.

I was really excited to try this place! They enticed me in with their hand breaded chicken strips. First off the curds were good, even though they were sitting in 1/4" of oil. Serving was very small. Chicken tasted like flour - it seemed more like frozen chicken - very dry and coating not well cooked. :( Although fries were brown they tasted ok while hot. Onion rings had to have been frozen. Never got a drink refill. REALLY needed it with how dry the food was. Overall $40+ for disappointment. :( And when you only eat one meal a day it makes it especially sad. This was my one time for hunger satisfaction today and Mad Apple to satisfy. read more

Our son and his girlfriend suggested to have both families give Mad Apple Burger a try. We've never been there before. They both said it would not disappoint us. The place is very spacious, so didn't have to worry about being too close together. We had a table for nine. Each ordered something different off the menu. I'm sorry we didn't capture any food pics...too excited to try the dishes. We'll be sure to catch some pics of the delicious menu items on our next visit! I did capture their menu when we first arrived. Menu items from the Ragin' Cajun Burger, Tenderloin Tips Salad, Chicken Bacon Ranch Salad, the Rueben Sandwich, the Maniacal Mushroom Burger, the Salmon BLT, along with Mozzarella Sticks and Chips and Salsa appetizers and their very popular side of Garlic Parmesan Chips and their Garlic Roasted Brussel Sprouts, Onion Rings and Hand Cut Fries were more than enough to leave everyone satisfied. Victor was our wait staff for this visit. He kept us hydrated and would return during the meal to see we were all well taken care of. Thank you Victor! Dirty drink cups, undercooked chicken breading that tasted simply like wet flour, curds floating in an oil slick the Exxon Valdeze would envy. Except the Valdeze actually had water around it, unlike my glass that was never refilled. When will I learn that for a a better eating experience I should just eat my dog's crap. Feb 06, 2026 First time here. my wife and I ordered fish. All of the food was cold, not warm, cold!!! The only thing hot was the coffee and the Mexican corn. The fish and fries were severely over done. Dark brown and hard. I told the waitress. She was sorry? Not sure if she let the food sit in the kitchen or the kitchen staff let it sit. Even the drawn butter wasn't melted. I could tell that it was at one time but when it reached our table it was beginning to set up. Not liquid. And, no cocktail sauce!!!! And this was a Friday. The waitress brought our food after a 25 minute wait and then only came back one time when I flagged her down to refill my drink. I had to go to the hostess station to get my bill. the bill was $50 and I gave the waitress (Carolyn) $60 and she asked me if I wanted my change. I said "why would you ask me that". Of course she stumbled and said that many people don't want their change. She didn't ask me again how our food was. Food was horrible. My wife and I hardly ate any of it. The server service was, no-service. So I won't return. Otherwise the restaurant was large and clean. Here is a tip for all servers. NEVER, NEVER ask if someone wants their change. NEVER!!!!!!! There is a group that I belong to and they decided to go to Mad Apple. From the Yelp reviews I was very hesitant to eat here. We came with a group of 18 people and Ashley was our server. Ashley was very attentive and efficient. I ordered The Texas Tangler and my husband had a patty melt. Both of our meals were very good. Plenty of chicken on my salad. Everything was fresh. My husband's patty melt was delicious. Only thing was onion rings were cold but with our large group (and a little cold in the restaurant) that is expected. read more

The jalapeño itself was a bit tough but great flavor. The staff was knowledgeable, helpful and friendly. The restaurant was rustic looking reminiscent of an "up north" lodge. Food was mediocre I wouldn't go again the cheese sticks for some reason tasted like they were coated in sugar, ALL the food was cold the fries might have been ok if they were hot. The restaurant was FEEEZING COLD and the waitress basically said whatever I don't care I get that she probably has no say in the temp but the attitude about it, it was so cold even wearing my winter coat. My wife and I visited on 3/15/25 at about 11am. We seemed to be the first and only in the dining room. After being seated and ordering our sodas, the server came to our table about 5 minutes later to take our food order. I decided on the surf and turf and my wife ordered the Turkey club. I was told that the surf and turf began after 4pm. The weekend dinner menu tri-fold on the table had Friday fish fry and surf and turf on the front with the words "Every weekend" and "Friday - Saturday 11:00am - 10:00pm" on it. I was first told that those were the hours of the fish fry and after I questioned it again , was told that those were the hours they were open. So I stated that I would need more time with the regular menu and the server left. After over 10 minutes of listening to the hostess tell the server her life story, the server returned to take our order. I asked if I could order anything off of the big menu and was told yes. I then attempted to order the prime rib and was "scolded" because that wasn't available until 4pm as I was previously told as it was part of the surf and turf. It didn't say any of that on the main menu. I settled for the tenderloin, side salad, and brussels sprouts. I received my side salad at the same time as the rest of my meal and the blue cheese dressing was like warm milk. The tenderloin was tender and cooked to order and the brussels sprouts were bigger than I like, but still tasted good. My wife's turkey sandwich was also good. Eventually our server returned after we finished and asked if we needed a box. Never asked us if we needed refills even though both our glasses were empty. She left and returned shortly thereafter to give us the box and check. I paid with cash and the server disappeared for 10 minutes. I am not exaggerating. 10 minutes. Eventually returning with our change. Based on the food, I may give it another try. Based on the service, I would recommend looking elsewhere. read more

The burger was made with black bean and sweet potato. It had a fantastic texture but I wish it was more seasoned, it tasted bland. The homemade Dijon mustard added depth but there wasn't enough on the bun. The gluten free burger bun has good quality but would taste better toasted on this kind of sandwich, because the meatless patty is so soft; a crispy bun would hold it together better. My fries were undercooked. Our server was nice and made delicious suggestions! Restaurant was lively and had had a lot of options on the menu. Jason the bartender was terrible with being friendly and getting our drinks in a timely manner. The bar was busy but he would take our drink orders and ask MULTIPLE times what it was. I've been here several times since December 2017. Our first visit was on Christmas, as we survived the snow and made it home from Grandma's and were looking for some food before we went to see a movie. The Mad Apple was a pleasant surprise - we loved it! Our first visit is what made us come back. If I had made my review then, it would have been 5 stars. The food was delicious, we had great services, it was a home run. On our visits since then, we've had very poor service, but have enjoyed exceptional food. I know it is hard to find good help and I hope that is the problem. We've enjoyed several different appetizers, beer, burgers and sandwiches. The burgers are delicious and I recommend the Mexican Street Corn as a side. In the summer, we really enjoyed Summer Shandy on tap. I love that the Mad Apple has a variety of food and drinks. It's a great location on the West side of town! read more

They had just what we were looking for and delivered it the following Monday in time for Christmas. The installation team was friendly, efficient, and meticulous to the very end. read more

Remember when your dad said, "I'm not mad, I'm just disappointed."? The statement sums up my experience with Mad Apple. We have ordered take out four (4) times since the VID crisis became engraved in our lives. The way I sum it up is "Wildly inconsistent with prices higher than the food demands." The first time we ordered food we were very satisfied. We thought the side dishes were unique and enjoyed the meal. The second time, we had poutine and their fries. Great ideas, poorly executed. The meal was good but not great. Third time out was fairly solid. Tonight we had two chicken sandwiches and a burger. The burger, which was ordered as medium, was mostly rare and lacked seasoning. The pretzel bun was hard and the bacon needed more cooking. A chicken sandwich ordered with sauce on the side, came covered in sauce and was dry. The other chicken sandwich, Cajun/blackened was neither. It lacked flavor. The curds and Mac/cheese were the highlights of the meal. The service while picking up dinners was 3.5 of 5 stars. The staff seemed nice but not engaged. In the end, this is probably the end of our Mad Apple odyssey. I'm not mad about the experience, just disappointed. read more

The food her was excellent. They specialize in burgers, which is obvious from their name, but they do offer other options as well. There are about a million different burgers to choose from, as well as a build your own option, which does make it difficult to choose what you want. From the sounds of the menu descriptions, though, you can't really go wrong. We started with the cheese curds appetizer. They were done very well and were served with house made ranch. I went with the Bezerk burger. My colleague went with the Frazzled pulled pork. My burger was delicious, and though I didn't try the pulled pork, it certainly looked tasty. They also offer the option to get a smaller portion size on many of the entrees. They reduce the price by 25%, too! This was really nice. The smaller sizes are what my colleague both ordered, and they were still plenty. Our server seemed very inexperienced. She did alright, but she was running her tail off and seemed to lack the ability to multitask. It wasn't particularly busy in our (her) section, but she was constantly moving. She was friendly and polite, though, and we had no issues with our orders. She did forget to bring me the water I asked for, but that's whatever. Last note - they don't have Tito's at the bar. I drink Tito's almost exclusively and typically have no issue finding it anywhere I go. Oh, also - They have a million pool tables here! I would have loved to stay and shoot a few games, and if I lived in the area I feel like I would spend a lot of time here for that alone. Both my party and I added things like cheese to a burger or chicken to a quesadilla and they didn't have them at all and we decided to live without it and it took the new waitstaff a bit to get those items of the bill. Went here to play some pool and got a burger while I was there. As far as pool, it's decent. Good tables, really fast felt. Ample room to shoot. If you're going to eat, there are some great burgers to choose from. There isn't a huge menu, but it's has what you'd want from a pub style place. The atmosphere is nice. The employees all seemed great. I didn't get any drinks at the bar, so I can't say how they are. The burger was great. Juicy with lots of flavor. I got the German apples, they were ok. Was very dissatisfied with this place. First time my friend and I were here. I ordered the patty melt.. didn't say on the menu it was on caraway rye. I can't eat caraway so waitress offered a different bun. Bun was cold, by the time I got it my burger was cold as well. My friends sandwich was cold as well. They've done a nice job remodeling (the last time I'd been in this building was in its Paretti's days). We tried the cheese curds as an appetizer and they were delicious.
