It's just a nice place for the Green Bay community to get together and enjoy this awesome space. When I visited, there were kids rolling down the enormous artificial turf hill that's used for sledding in the winter. There was music. There were booths with people selling everything from jewelry to baked goods. The playground in Titletown is super cool. There are so many things for kids to explore, and it's great for all ages. There is also a giant football field, which visitors can use to throw footballs or kick soccer balls. Mostly, I just saw people sitting around and relaxing. Titletown is located near lots of restaurants and shops, so you can get your food to go and enjoy it outside in Titletown. And most importantly: Titletown is across the street from Lambeau Field, so when there's a game, you can hear the crowd cheering -- it's that close.

We parked at the Red Lobster near the stadium and came across this area more or less by accident as we walked over to Lambeau Field. The combination of activities (how crazy is that giant hill that people were just rolling down!) and sights was quite impressive and honestly more than I would have expected from Green Bay. Mixing in the residential area with the commercial aspects was a nice touch and a model for other towns to consider for the areas surrounding their stadiums so they aren't just a massive parking lot. Should we find ourselves at another game, I would definitely explore this area more.

We had been there before so I knew there was a little bench/sitting area outside of the bathroom. So after using the bathroom, I thought it would be the perfect little area to decompress and take a little break and have a couple snacks so go sit down on the bench get our snacks out put them on a little table start eating them five minutes later the door that separates the area to the wedding venue section opened up, and I hear this lady talking to a woman with a child and a man explaining to them that they can change their child's diaper on the bench.......that was already occupied by myself and my child.....and she continued to explain it to them AFTER she saw us sitting on the bench. I have nothing against the other mom. She was just doing what she was told. But with that being said, I have changed my child's diaper in weird locations and there was a diaper changing station in the bathroom 10 feet away with no line. So at that point it became extremely awkward for everybody involved. I tell my child to hurry up and finish his food and collect his garbage which felt like minutes, but was probably only 30 seconds with the other family still hovering over us waiting for us to get up. He asked me why we had to leave and I didn't answer him. I had no problem with the other family. Maybe they didn't know there was a changing table in the bathroom, once again, they were just doing what they were told. BUT in my opinion, they never should have been told that. The other lady basically kicked us out of the spot. We were already well established at. Out of the almost 7 years that I have been going to fun activities basically every weekend with my child I have never been disrespected like that. Now with that being said, I do not believe it was her original intention to do so, but I would like for her to know that she did offended me and maybe next time see if the bench is already occupied and provide another location. Maybe double check if there is a line for the bathroom first. Yes I know it is a first world problem. But I have been thinking about this since Mother's Day. That or if he was too domesticated he'd be made an "ambassador" used for learning and educational purposes. In less than 72 hours you had him sent to his death for no reason. He was full of love, and trust. He gave no symptoms of rabies. And you murdered him in cold blood. HIS NAME WAS BUDDY AND HE WAS SO LOVED! There's no raccoon habitat for rehabilitation. It's an act and a script you feed desperate pet owners to gain their trust and take their loved coons to be murdered. He wasn't wild. He wasn't aggressive. And he wasn't rabid. He was a good boy. He was happy in his home. He was supposed to live a long life. You cut that life short at 5 months old. He was perfect. And you murdered him! To the Management and Administration of Bay Beach Wildlife Sanctuary, ​I am writing to formally demand accountability and full transparency regarding the surrender and immediate euthanasia of our 5-month-old raccoon, Buddy. ​When we contacted your facility following communication with the Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources, we were given clear assurances regarding his intake. We were explicitly told that Buddy would be evaluated for wild rehabilitation or, if found to be too habituated, retained as an educational ambassador. ​We entrusted him to your facility based directly on those representations. ​Instead, within less than 72 hours, Buddy was euthanized. He exhibited zero symptoms of illness, distress, or aggression, and was completely habituated and healthy. ​Given the stark contradiction between what your staff promised prior to intake and the outcome that immediately followed, I am demanding direct answers to the following questions: ​What specific diagnostic, behavioral, or medical criteria were used to authorize his immediate euthanasia within 72 hours? ​Why were options for educational placement or sanctuary transfer ruled out after explicit assurances were made that these were valid pathways? ​Is it standard policy at Bay Beach Wildlife Sanctuary to assure surrendering individuals of rehabilitation or ambassador placement when immediate euthanasia is the intended intake protocol? ​The public and community members who turn to your organization in good faith deserve truthful communication about the actual protocols applied to surrendered animals. ​I expect a formal written response detailing the internal intake records, staff notes, and justification for Buddy's outcome. ​Alexandra Balthazor
