This is a Chick-fil-A. Many of you have probably been to a Chick-fil-A or at least know what they are all about. Here's my take and maybe a few things you didn't know. First, in my opinion, breakfast is where they shine. The Chicken minis and breakfast burrito are my two favorite things on the menu. I find myself coming here for breakfast far more often than lunch or dinner. Next, the app is where it's at. Not just because you can earn points towards free food, but because you can order ahead of time and pick your food up when you get there. Third, my favorite thing about this particular location is how fast they are. Even when the lines are insanely crazy, I never find myself waiting that long. The one time I did. They gave me cards for two free breakfast items. Also, the drive through is a well oiled machine. There will be cars lined up down the street and it will still move really fast. It's impressive. Lastly, while very good, the original chicken sandwich is a little overrated. Don't feel like you have to get it. The rest of the menu is really good too. Try the chicken wrap or one of the salads. They are all excellent and you won't be disappointed. read more

My nuggets were right out of the fryer today. They obviously weren't sitting around... they were hot, fresh, and primo. Chick-fil-A has their system down: drive-through lines are organized! There is a staff member with laminated menus standing outside waiting to take your order through your window before you reach the speakers. Stage two: the very efficient window where you pay. Stage 3: you're served your delicious chicken by super friendly and competent Chick-fil-A employees. Final touch: we have a pug, and Chick-fil-A staff always fuss over him and give him a free dog biscuit!!! Chick-fil-A is top-of-the-line chicken sandwiches, nuggets, wraps, and salads. So everyone and their Mom raves about Chick-fil-A and I had yet to ever eat there until last week. They recently set up shop a few minutes away from my job so I was excited to finally check it out without having to bust a mission. I ordered the Spicy Chicken Deluxe combo. It was nothing to rave about..like at all! I still cant figure out why people enjoy the food so much. The fries were kind of bland as well. The only positive remarks I have is that the customer service was perfect. The place was very clean with a contemporary style. There's a variety of dipping sauce. My order was ready in like 30 seconds and tasted fresh for "fast food", although the flavor didn't do it for me. Also, I received a free cookie coupon for checking in on Yelp :) The next time I want a chicken sandwich from a fast food restaurant I will stick with Wendys. Just sayin read more

Cannot say anything bad about this place. They have a great operation running and offer tasty good food with outstanding customer service. I got in the drive-thru with a very long line which was almost out the parking lot and within minutes got my food which was hot and fresh. We were really blown away by the service when we stopped by for a quick dinner with out child. Seidy, Ray, and Blaine? (couldn't quite see his name tag) provided outstanding service. It was a packed restaurant and the service was still top notch. The food was good. The kid's meal fruit side was an impressive and fresh mixture. We also noticed the playground looked as clean as a playground like that could be especially compared to other fast food type playgrounds we have seen. read more

So glad Chick-fil-A opened up shop by PCC & replaced BK in Pasadena. I've only been to the one by USC so it was nice to have one a little closer. My usual order is an original Chick-fil-A chicken sandwich & a 12-count of Chick-fil-A nuggets. That with Chick-fil-A sauce and a large sweet tea is all I need. The chicken is good and tasty. The bread is soft as part of the sandwich. The chicken nuggets are not dry even though they are white meat pieces. They are flavorful and make for perfect dipping in the OG sauce or any of their other sauces you can choose from. So good... Did I mention I LUH the sweet tea? You can buy it by the gallon! I'm gonna have to do that one time. I saw it on the drive-through menu. Ha! Closed on Sundays. Dont forget they observe the Sabbath. Made that mistake before and was super bummed. Customer service is excellent. They have a waiting area where they will bring you your food and they pack everything nice and organized when you have a big order to-go. This place has like award-winning service. Every employee is going above and beyond to help you, to clean, to take away your trash, go the extra step with extreme politeness. Best place to go when your overwhelmed with little ones. Spicy chicken sandwich was cooked to perfection of hotness and spice, sundae was too sweet, waffle fries perfect. My kid ate it all. They closed the playground unfortunately and employee wasn't sure if they were ever going to open it, hope they do in the future. I had a great experience at this Chick-fil-A, especially with the service. I ordered from a different Chick-fil-A using DoorDash and ordered a Cookies n Cream Milkshake, and my driver ate my cherry. It was something small but I brought it up half joking to the person taking my drive thru order, Ani. Ani laughed about it with me too and even offered an entire side of cherries to make up for it. I thanked him for his kindness and said just one will do. As I get to the front, I speak to another two employees about it again just to make a joke and they made sure I got a few extra cherries on the milkshake. Ambiance is typical of your fast food joint but nonetheless overall 4 star for go to fast food affordable chicken salads and waffle fries. Five stars because of the friendly service even when it is so hot outside. I feel bad for the employees taking orders in the hot sun with hardly any shade in sight. You guys rock! Today however I ordered a 4 piece tender meal (my usual order) and I received 3 tenders and 1 super burnt tender. I bit into the burned tender and couldn't eat it. Yesterday we stopped at the Pasadena store. Hadn't been there for years. It was 5pm and crazy. We parked in the handicap spot with our plaque up and wanted to know if we could walk in and order to bring back to our car to eat. We stopped Kariah and she was the answer to our prayers. She said no we couldn't do that, but suggested ordering through the app. Being seniors we were not very adept doing that. She took my phone, downloaded the app, and then placed our order. A welcome addition to East Pasadena. The staff here are super cheery and friendly and I was once given a free ice cream cone for 'having a tough day'. Much appreciated! Taste and freshness are consistent with other locations and I remain hooked on the #5 (grilled chicken sandwich meal). The only unpleasantness here is the non-existent parking with 3 lot spots for EV/hybrid parking (usually taken by smoggy Mercedes SUVs lol) and having to ask for all those sauce packets. Lines can get long and gnarly during peak times. All in all, much more pluses than minuses here. So, long live Chick-Fil-A. read more

I enjoy Chick-fil-A, but I don't get the obsession many people seem to have with it and I don't necessarily get specific Chick-fil-A cravings. The chicken and waffle fries are pretty good, but definitely wouldn't go out of my way to get them. Chicken strips are hearty and very flavorful. Wish they were a bit crispier though. I like my fried stuff very crispy. I do like that the chicken strips actually taste like real chicken, instead of fake bits and pieces formed to resemble meat like many other fast food places. The waffle fries are delicious and definitely a guilty pleasure. Spicy fried chicken is another solid option. Opt for the spicy instead of the regular, if you like/can handle a little spice. Love the abundance of sauces options. Anything and everything from the more traditional honey mustard to sweet & spicy sriracha to the house sauce. The sauces go great with the food and are essential to upping the flavor and taste. I'm sure they're not good for you though... probably filled with lots of artificial and chemical ingredients, eek. read more

First of all, it's a busy location, so expect that. I've been here several times, and I think this location has the best customer service of all Chick-fil-A's! And there are a lot of locations and a lot of smiles shared in these joints. I took my 2 young kids here 2 years ago and the dine-in staff was so accommodating, bringing me a high chair, bringing me more napkins, etc. They didn't seem pissed off or bothered at all my requests and they were all smiling. I didn't catch the name of the male manager that evening, but he was African American and very nice. Next story: I took the kids last year for their free craft night, and I was so impressed with how nice the crafts were. They made really details sock puppets of a dragon, and HANDS DOWN the best teacher, named Trinity. She is so sweet and great with kids, so patient with my young ones. I heard she's going off to college, and we are so sad to see her go. Seriously, she's Trinity is gonna have a bright future. This location is so family friendly because of TRINITY. 3rd and final story: I went through the drive-thru last week with my two kids and it's always busy. I needed to also redeem my cow-lendar goodies. The drive-thru here has two lanes, and they had 2 people in each lane taking orders, making the line go pretty fast during dinnertime, and an additional runner bringing smaller orders to cars, so they could just turn out and exit. Amazing. My 5 combo order was accurate, and I always double check before driving off anyway. Great job. And it goes without saying that the food here is DELICIOUS. read more

I did try a few of the sauces as well on my fires, and I just wasn't impressed. Super impressive service at Chick-Fil-A. I don't really eat the food from here because something they use makes me sick (I'm thinking an allergy to a preservative or something) but I do drink their lemonade. Delicious! I was producing a film shoot in the area and opted to get the lunch order for my crew and they wanted Chick-fil-a so I got their orders and headed over. It was lunchtime and the line looked long, but it moved so incredibly fast. From the woman who took my order to the guy who gave it to me at the end, all smiles, all super polite, and all very fast and efficient. I only had to stop my car at the very end because I had a few special request items that took longer to make. However, they were apologetic (I didn't even think it was a big deal) and gave me a card for a free sandwich the next time I come in. Seriously? Amazing! That card goes to my family whom I'm sure will enjoy something from here, but super impressed with the service here. I only knocked off a star since I can't tell you how the food tastes though the crew seemed pretty satisfied with their meals. My one plea with all fast food places is trying to come up with better packaging that leaves less of a carbon footprint. Can entrees and fries have a biodegradable wrapper, paper straw etc. Great work to the Chick-fil-a crew at this Pasadena location. My family are true fans of this chain and my kids grew up eating their chicken nuggets and waffle fries...unfortunately the Pasadena store consistently under-breads their chicken breasts. When you remove the top of the bun you can see the white chicken flesh right through the coating and the coating itself is yellow ...instead of the nut brown of a properly prepared piece of fried chicken. I hate how much I love you Chick-fil-A. You are so good but so bad (for me). This place is my ultimate "fast-food" favorite. The chicken is always cooked PERFECTLY, they definitely have that down. The waffle fries are my favorite fast-food fries, they are crispy but never too crispy. They also have GLUTEN FREE BUNS which I super appreciate. This particular location is always busy, and the drive thru is usually very long, but they have employees taking your order at your car and they will bring your food out to you, so the lines goes pretty quickly.
