Fried chicken sandwich - this is seriously the best fried chicken sandwich from a fast food restaurant. I had the spicy fried chicken deluxe sandwich - I love the little kick of spice and the pepper jack cheese. The other great thing is the food is really authentic. Normally fast food tastes great but processed but here you actually see chucks of chicken and the waffle fries tasted like potatoes. Love the chik fil a sauce because it's so light and vinegary. Definitely drop by again when I am in the neighborhood. read more

Love the spicy deluxe chicken sandwich! New Chick-fil-A locations have been popping up throughout NJ and some of the drive-through lines are out the parking lot and onto the highway... cannot sit in those lines in the summer heat so was happy to have found this location in the Paramus Park Mall! It is located on the second floor in the food court and it is BUSY but I imagine it is still faster than the stand alone locations! Also, I get to wait in the luxury of air conditioning. I came on a weekday workday... it was around 12:30-1 and the line was about 20 people long and there were about 20 people waiting to the side for their food. The line moved pretty quickly and it probably took about 20 minutes from the time I got in line to the time I received my food. Wouldn't consider it "fast food" but it was quick and efficient enough and SO WORTH IT. I brought my sandwiches back to work to eat and had to save half of one for dinner... the chicken maintained its crispiness and the bread was still fresh even 6 hours later. read more

I'm really happy that this location is in the Paramus Park Mall because it is super convenient for me to get in and out. The staff is always super friendly and never afraid to give you a little extra dipping sauce. My only quam with Chick-fil-A is that all locations are closed on Sunday. read more

I am not very fond of birds dating back to an experience I had as a young man when I witnessed a dove land on the curly mushroom cut of my friend Ricky. I turned 30 this year. Thanks to my job in marketing consulting, I spent most of my 30th birthday in New Jersey, at a client site. This is not how I pictured my life at 30. What am I babbling about? I had lunch on my 30th birthday here at a Chick-Fil-A, alone at a mall in New Jersey. Two spicy chicken sandwiches, one regular chicken sandwich, waffle fries, and a large Coke. I ate my brains out. But you know what? It's been a good 30 years. I'm happy with where I am, with who I am. And it's only getting better. I posted my meal on facebook and twitter, and was overwhelmed by the birthday wishes that were already up, and the envious comments from friends who also wished they were having Chick-Fil-A. Totally cheated on our local teteboro Chick-fil-A big mistake! We tried the new ownership in paramus this place is a big mess and the staff are confused and lost! The food quality is not good at all. Don't bother coming here go to tereboro. We only came here because it was packed which we normally don't do but it's Monday and it's very hot out. But honestly I'm giving everyone a tip go to tereboro not just for their extremely and friendly staff. The best part is they come to the table and they care. I lived down south for quite a while. Became accustomed to having Chick-Fil-a on a regular basis. Now its a little more difficult to have it unless I want to drive 10 miles out of the city for it. Nothing beats getting your hand wet as you reach into a foil bag for a simple and delicious treat. Sure the steam is a good quality indicator, the smell even more incredible, but the taste is to die for. Very simple in construction, bun, chicken, two pickles. That's all it needs!! Sure they have other menu items, but why are you trying them when Chick-Fil-A is known for their sandwiches!! Their waffles fries are delicious and I have tried their nuggets which are also pretty incredible. If you're tired of burgers and pizza then you should definitely check this place out! I have been frequenting this crappy mall since I worked there when I was 18, I assure you it's not for it's awesome stores and commerce but for the rare breed of fast food in this mall, chic fil a. It's been a staple in this food court at least since I worked there and that was almost 16 years ago (now I'm really showing my age). The chicken sandwiches are awesome, signature waffle fries and slammin hand spun shakes (try the cookies and cream). There is some other menu items like sandwiches and their version of chicken nuggets which I've never tried. All in all, it's fast food but exceptional fast food IMO and I can't believe that this Christian predominantly down south chain hasn't branched out more up here after all these years, from what I understand it's very difficult to get a restaurant from their chain. read more

This used the be the only tolerable location of this chain. While the chick fil a locations in manhattan and at Garden State Plaza offered mediocre renditions of the food with subpar service, this location used to keep it together. Well, not so much anymore. Tonight, I placed my mobile app order as I walked into the mall, literally a min from the counter for pick up. I waited for 15 min before flagging someone down and asking if mobile order was working; I was seeing people placing counter orders getting their food within 3 min. Well, it turns out that my bag had been sitting in a puddle of lemonade for 15 min and no one ever called my name. My paper bag was dripping wet, almost ripping, and the sandwich at the bottom was in a soggy wet box. I pointed out that my sandwich was in a soggy box, the manager scrolls thru the orders, comes over and tells me "it's wet because it's been ready for 15 min." (1) it has been 15 min because you never called my name (2) my food is now cold because you never called me name (3) sitting around for 15 min does not make food wet. Leaving it in a puddle of lemonade for 15 min makes it wet. They're clearly getting their managers from the other mall. What a jerk. Goodbye chick fil a. This really was the last straw. read more

Yeah it's fast food and yeah it's probably not healthy but who doesn't love Chick-fil-a? I hadn't had Chick-Fil-a since we were in CA back in March. I was bitching and complaining the other week about how there aren't any in our area (outside of NYC) A co-worker made me aware of this location in the food court of the Paramus Park Mall. DD and I swung by here on our way home today, she had the 4 piece nugget kids meal and I had the Chick-Fil-a sandwich minus pickles. It's amazing how it actually looks and tastes like real chicken!! Especially when you compare it to other fast food joints. I would drive the 45 minutes or so it takes me to get here just to eat this for lunch. I even picked up a sandwhich for the DW, although it's not as good when it's not fresh. She enjoyed it none the less! read more

Chick-fil-a, how i love thee. It's hard to come by one of these establishments. I have been to the one in the Monmouth mall, and this one in the paramus park mall, and both are just food court locations, so for what it is this place is quite alright. The food is always pretty decent, went here about 2 weeks ago with my boyfriend, who happens to be a big chick-fil-a fan, and we were both pleased with our order. the sandwiches were fresh, the fries pretty darn good. Lemonade is delicious. the 2 downfalls: 1) food court location 2) no tray? we had a difficult time eating our food because to take our sandwiches out of the bag we had to take the fries out, which were thrown in on top of the sandwiches. we had no where to put the food down beside the table itself. as we took out the fries, they were falling out of the container onto the table top, which is pretty unsanitary. We tried to find a tray or something to rest the food on, but the search gave us nothing, even after asking the people at the chick-fil-a for something to place the food on, they shrugged. we had to just open up napkins on the table. I was left wondering how others enjoy their food. Anyway still awesome, still delicious, hey, it's chick-fil-a! will def eat again read more

This one was awful, my normal order is the spicy chicken sandwich, my sandwich was on the most stale buns I have ever had, the bread crumbled in my hand. Hmmm...what is there to tell you about Chick-fil-A that you don't already know? 1. If you haven't tried the Diet Lemonade, DO NOT FEAR. It is not gross. It doesn't taste like Crystal Light. In fact, I watch them fill my cup, because it tastes so good I always think it's the regular lemonade. 2. These people are seriously nice. I have been there several times 5-10 minutes before closing, and they are just as cheerful as if I were the first customer of the day. I really appreciate not being given dirty looks when I order just before they are about to close up. If Chick-fil-A is not your go-to food court stop at Paramus Park, it should be! Favorite chicken sandwich. Ever. The ingredients are so fresh, it's insane! The crispness of the lettuce is noted every time! The nuggets are great, size appropriate for the little people (my toddler lol). And waffle fries are little golden perfections. I appreciate that the fries are closer to yellow instead of browning. They're super crispy and fried in clean oil. The more brown the fries, the more old, burnt bits are in the oil they fry in. Also thoroughly enjoy their lemonade and shakes! read more

This Chick Fil A is the busiest fast food place in the Paramus Park Mall. The line goes fast. However; the young employees that give you your food DO NOT WEAR HAIR PROTECTION. They run back and forth bumping into one another grabbing food and their hair is swinging near the open food bags. One kid kept touching his hair and fixing his hair then grabbing food and then delivering the contaminated bag. They must wear head bands cause it's gross!!! BARF!!! Totally unsanitary when your bag has been delivered with hair DNA, grease, gel, you name it!!!! read more

This has happened 2 weeks in a row and it is ridiculous. Common sense would be to make twice as much each time or keep track when almost running out. Well this spot has gone down the drain. I gave my input on a survey but the restaurant closed and I could not redeem my payment of a free sandwich. The deal expired. I called the restaurant to ask if I come all the way down there could I still get what I earned. I was told yes. I get down there in the afternoon on 7/23 with all documentation and e-mails and the manager on duty would not compensate me for my input with the free sandwich. So now, Chik Fil A has my input and paid nothing for it and I wasted time and money on gas to get all the way back down there just to be shut down. read more

Sooo duh it's Chick-fil-a it's instantly 5 stars... Have you ever been to one? I mean the chicken is insanely good, like addicting, like crack.. Seriously though.. So you have a pretty basic menu, nuggets, chicken sandwiches, waffle fries, coleslaw, salads, chicken tenders... Not much more then that, but that's the glory of it, it doesn't need more then that! The chicken alone keeps me coming back, no need to add or change up the menu... And unfortunately for me, I don't get here too often. After coming back from the pumpkin farm upstate, hubby suggested we drive through NJ and Google the closest chick fil a .....we didn't realize the location was inside the NJ mall. I've had chick fil a before when I was in Dallas and Southern NJ, this is my 3rd time eating there food. Hubby and I ordered the spicy chicken deluxe with a side of waffle fries....only one word can describe this meal which is delicious! The chicken was moist, lightly breaded, and not too spicy. The best chicken breast sandwich. Yes, a real, intact chicken breast. I come to Paramus Park specifically for these. Everytime I come there for anything else I try to make it to Chick fil A. Simplicity at it's finest! You have a Fried chicken breast, a pickle, and a bun. Have been coming here forever, since I was in High School. Still the exact same sandwich, always awesome. As an added bonus they have real Lemonade. I could take or leave the fries, usually opting for two sandwiches and a lemonade myself. This place definitely had the longest line in the entire food court. But hey, it was lunchtime, and it is Chick-fil-A! Employees there are friendly, they provide quick service, and the chicken nuggets and fries were fantastic. Of course, everything is better with their signature Chick-fil-A sauce!
