First things first, I'm going to suggest the owners to add milkshakes / dessert to the menu LOL. After such a filling meal, I love something sweet! My sister and I dined in at Jaffar's Burgers on the evening of Columbus Day, 5pm. after taking our 5 little ones to Bergen County Zoo on Columbus Day evening, around 5pm. We were one of the two groups of customers at that time. Later it got busier with people picking up & dining in. Our kids needed the bathrooms first, which were nice, clean & smelled nice. The smelling nice part, my 7 year old pointed out LOL. We ordered chicken tenders, chicken sandwiches, silver classic burgers (we ordered the lovely sauce on side) & fries for the kids. My sister & I split a chicken sandwich & a double golden cheeseburger. I gotta tell you that lovely sauce is... lovely & has a bit of a kick to it! The lava fries are just that, very spicy; order at your own risk I'm writing this review, as I'm finishing eating my left overs from that day LOL. Still tasty! It was so refreshing to see a family cooking my food. I recommend everyone try this small-family run business. read more

3.5 stars Halal burger restaurant by the side of the road. They have a very small menu of Oklahoma style cheeseburger (with only grilled onions) and the standard burger with lettuce, onions, and tomato. Service was friendly and the food was ok. The burger comes with a huge potato bun which I think is too big for the burger. Their golden (Oklahoma style) burger was too heavy/greasy for me. There is plenty of grilled onions but I need fresh vegetables to balance the grease. The fries were ok. read more

Jaffar's Burgers - Burger and loaded fries which - Burgers Near Me - Paramus, New Jersey

I had lunch at Jaffar's Burgers last week. It was one of the best burgers I've had in a long time. Golden Cheeseburger is a must-try! It was one of those days when I was thinking, "You know, I need a break. I'm stepping out for lunch." I wasn't sure where to go, but I knew I wanted something comforting. Then I remembered passing by their red and white font sign on 17, so I started heading that way in my car. I pulled into one of the parking spaces in front and went inside. There were a few customers there when I walked in. After I ordered a Golden Single Cheeseburger, fries, and a fountain drink, I grabbed a seat facing the windows. That first bite - so good! It's a classic onion burger done really, really well. Again, a must-try. You can taste fresh, quality ingredients. Oh, also, their fountain drinks are cane-sugar sweetened - nothing artificial. This burger joint is a gem. read more

Actually came here by accident since I kept missing the exit to get to a sushi place nearby. I know greasy burger versus sushi is a big difference . But I'm glad I did. It's a family owned business. No frills but clean and well lit restaurant with ample seating. Ordering is easy thru the kiosk. They have a good selection of bottled drinks including coke fountain drinks. I ordered the golden double cheese burger and fries with drink combo. Probably one of the best burgers I've had. It was a big portion of meat, juicy but with the crispy edges with grilled onions and a light kinda sweet sauce. The fries were decent. Price is really affordable for the amount of delicious burger you get. I definitely left full and I know my stomach will feel it tomorrow. read more

I can't say enough great things about this burger! Hands down it is the best tasting smash burger out of all the ones I've tried over the years. Jaffar and family run this place and the service is absolutely that of a family atmosphere. This place is so good that when I discovered it, I went back twice in the same week. The bun is soft and I guess has butter/margarine that makes it tasty. The onions are a nice touch as well. Delicious without a doubt. read more

While traveling for business, I went searching for a fresh made burger and Jaffar's did not disappoint! The smash burger was perfectly cooked, not overcooked, crispy outside but juicy at the same time with a soft bun and special sauce. The Happy Fries were seasoned and loaded with cheese. I added some extra sauce. Perfect with the burger. Small, clean restaurant. Jaffar took my order, offering suggestions based on my questions. Very friendly and helpful. Thank you, Jaffar, it was all delicious! read more

Jaffar's Burgers - Silver Double Burger with cheese and Happy Fries - Burgers Near Me - Paramus, New Jersey

Great burgers, quality meat. Family owned. Quick quality service. Slightly greasy. Highly ethical considering halal quality meat. Would recommend over any local burger joints except for White Mana read more

Run, don't walk to Jaffar's! I had a double Golden burger and it was expertly cooked! So many smash burgers don't have the crust on the beef which is smash burger 101. Jaffar's Golden burger had the crust. The Golden is based on the Oklahoma onion burger, the onions were steamed, caramelized and also crunchy depending on where they contacted the cooking surface. The Golden burger has their "lovely" sauce on it and halal spices so it is a unique take on the OG OK onion burger. Definitely a 10/10 for execution and taste. Next time I go I'll try the Silver burger and then the Lava. I know George Motz is the burger scholar but Jaffar will make a believer out of you! Great job sir! 1/28 Update: I went back for the double silver burger and fries yesterday. The fries were excellent and a very generous portion too! The silver burger was executed to perfection again, nice lacey edges and plenty of melty cheese. The lettuce, tomato and onion were all incredibly fresh. read more

Solid new burger spot from the owners at Juicy Platters! We tried both the golden and silver burgers and they were great. The golden one doesn't come with veggies and you can really taste the onions! If you want more of a classic burger with tomatoes, onion, lettuce, pickle, I would recommend the silver deluxe. The portion for the fries was super generous. They were so good, too. It's a great quick lunch spot if you're in the area. read more

From outside this place doesn't look like much. Inside? Fantastic burgers. Great meat with some flavoring. Delicious sauce options. Fries are really good. Place is very unassuming but serves the best burgers in the area! Kids and adults approved. Very clean and plenty of seating. The people were polite and service was on point. The double patty is very filling so get the single if you are not too hungry. Also side note they have a spicy option, if you aren't ready for that heat it's probably better to opt for the regular. read more

Top-notch mouth-watery smash burgers, mom & pop clean no mass production type burgers here. The owner is very present. He takes pride in producing exceptional food. In a world filled with chemicals everywhere you look, this is one of those places you can enjoy your guilty pleasure knowing your food is made with TLC + simple ingredients. I've tried White Manna, Shack Shake, In-N-Out, and I tell you this restaurant is indeed a rising star in the area in terms of competition. If you're shopping at the mall and looking for a juicy burger then this is your place! Kudos the owner on creating such an extraordinary man, chef's kiss read more
