I love Chick-fil-A. A friend introduced me and since then I've been hooked! I always get the same thing every time. I love the spicy chicken sandwich combo so much, I just can't order anything else. Maybe one day I will be able to cheat on my oh so special spicy chicken and try something else. Lolz I am a sauce person. I dip everything and anything, even if it already has a sauce on it. I am an avid Chick-Fil-A visitor and customer. Typically, I am pleasantly surprised and pleased with the food and amazing customer service that Chick-Fil-A provides. However, at this location, I have had multiple bad experiences here which does not reflect the standard excellence in customer service that you would typically expect. The first: I ordered a Chicken Sandwich Deluxe meal to go, went home and found a hair in it. I sent an email and told them about my experience - with a picture of the hair weaved into the batter and the receipt. However, the email was sent to their central headquarters so they forwarded my email to the manager at the location in GSP. I never received a follow-up and that experience was left unresolved. The second time: I had ordered the 2 Chicken bowls on separate bills. I got the first one no problem other than the fact that the cashier didn't know how to put in the order. But after ordering the 2nd one and waiting FIFTEEN minutes, I went back up and inquired as to why it took so long to get the dish. The cashier at the counter asked me if I had a receipt, but it turns out, she didn't give me one - but she remembered me ordering it. I asked if I could then order it again but it was 10:32am and she could no longer ring it up. I thought this was a reflection of the store management and was really disappointed by these experiences. It's upsetting because this is one of the closer chains near my house but it happens to have some of the poorer service and management. I don't think I'll be back to this location and I'm glad there are others popping up around me. read more

Oddly, my teenage son and I had never been to a Chick-fil-A before so we did not understand the hype about it and the ads on TV. We happened to be at the Garden State Plaza Mall to buy shoes and asked the shoe salesman where he ate at the mall. Chick-fil-A was one of the places he mentioned besides the Shake Shack. The line was very long at Chick-fil-A which, although waiting is a drag, is a good sign since that meant the food was good enough to be worth most people's time. This was/is compared to other places in the food court, like KFC that didn't even have one person waiting to order. It did not disappoint us. My son had the fried chicken sandwich meal with sauce and waffle fries and Fanta. I had the grilled chicken wrap with avocado sauce and waffle fries and lemonade. Both meals were filling. It seemed especially popular with groups of teenagers hanging out at the mall since they made up the bulk of the customers at this Chick-fil-A. read more

I come here since I work in the mall but this time I was wowed in just a minute. Paige was the lady helping me and in that small amount of time at the register she was polite, made eye contact, small talk. Just made it easy to order and change my type of sauce multiple times. Was st the Garden State mall in Paramus, NJ & stopped here for lunch. Since it is in the food court, they do not have a sit down area; you get you food at the counter & then find a table in the common table area. I ordered the market salad, which has sliced chicken, red & green apples, sliced strawberries, blueberries, pineapple & lettuce. The greens were fresh & crisp with fresh, tasty fruit. I normally go to Paramus Park mall, but my wife needed something there, so we there. I checked their website, since I've never seen this salad at Paramus Park. Turns out they don't offer it in Paramus Park; only in Garden State. I liked this salad so much, I may to change malls, but this salad may be worth it. Very good salad, definitely worth checking out. read more

This is probably the worst CFA I've ever been to. The quality of the food is pretty bad but the service is just horrible. I had many unpleasant experiences ("wet" chicken fingers, hair in my salad, fuzzy material in my friend's food, etc) and I still would come back. But what took the cake was a horrible experience I had with a cashier who was demeaning and beyond rude. I spoke to the manager who didn't even apologize about what had happened. So I sent an email to corporate and the operator's sister called me several days later. She was pleasant but made excuses (family business, new operation, etc) and told me they fired the employee. And that was it. I think management needs to work on quality control of its food and employees. read more

Food is good for fast food. I enjoy the variety of dipping sauces they offer. Their cookies and cream milkshake is a nice yummy treat. I like this particular location bc every time I go, the staff is always so nice and polite. The people that take your orders are very helpful and patient. You don't wait long for your food bc however they deploy their workers work well that you get your food right away. Other competitive fast food chains should definitely learn from this team. read more

Service here is terrible and very unprofessional. Employees care more about socializing with each other than serving customers. Girl at the counter was too busy dancing and chatting it up with her coworkers and completely ignored me standing there waiting on her to take my order. After waiting for 5 minutes I placed an order for just a grilled chicken sandwich but was handed a bag with only an order of fries in it. After I went back to complain, I was given another bag with the wrong type of chicken sandwich. Everyone working here appears to be no older than 18 and seem completely inexperienced with short attention spans. The overall level of customer service at this locations is far below that of other locations in the area. Please invest in a better trained staff who actually take their job serious. read more

Horrible experience. Came here over the weekend. I know lines can get long and that's understandable. I've always had exceptional service with chikfila but there were two registers open with no one standing behind it because it looked like everyone was helping out to give the orders for pick up. This one cashier finally gets on one of the registers. I ask if anyone is working on the register that I had been on for like the last 5-7 min, then tells me someone should be there meanwhile she was about to take the person behind me who moved over to her register and I told her I had been there first. She could have just taken my order and if I hadn't insisted I may have had to wait longer. If it wasn't for the fact that my son really wanted to eat there I would've just left and taken my business elsewhere. It was my first time ordering there and probably my last. read more

Honestly if I could rate 0, I would. I went to this place instead of getting Wendy's because I thought, "hey, why not live a little" I now regret that decision. The chicken they served me was almost raw (which I did not notice until I was sitting in the bathroom for 40 minutes) and I was biting into an undercooked piece of sog every other fry.
